Our son has been attending this daycare since he was just four months old, and he is now nearly four. It has been an incredible journey watching him grow here, and we have been especially thrilled with his recent experience. He was most recently in Room 6 taught by Ms. Maria, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She is an absolutely wonderful teacher, very thoughtful and caring. Our son loves her class. Under her care, he has blossomed significantly. We are so thankful for how well Ms Maria and all other teachers take care of him and helps him grow! My baby has been attending Kindercare at this location for over a month now. I must say I was very unsure about sending a 3 month old at the time thinking she's too young and being in a daycare with 4-5 other babies would scare her, I was very wrong. She loves daycare and never came home stressed ever. The Infant teachers are very caring and welcoming and treat everyone like family. I love how everything gets posted on the app with pictures and daily logs. The teachers are very attentive and care alot about the kids. My daughter always comes home very clean with a fresh diaper. Highly recommend the Milpitas Abel Kindercare! My son started daycare at 4months as I had to go back to work. My son has been in the infant room since 4months and will soon he transitioning to the toddler room. He went from can't even sit up on his own to walking all over the place. Ms. Marisu and Ms. Herlinda has been the main two teachers there and they have been amazing! They got to know my son's needs well. I highly recommend this place especially for infant care and here are some more reasons why: 1. The hours were much more accommodating compared to other daycares. I needed the flexibility as I have a lot of morning meetings. They open from 7:30am-6pm. Other daycares I found nearby were 8am/8:30am-5/5:30pm. I drop my son off early but always try to pick up early. 2. Security - You are required to enter your own personalize pin in order for you to enter the facilities. Infant room door is always closed. Parents are not allowed to enter for safety and security as well as sanitary reasons. If somehow you got in and they don't recognize you, they will stop you and ask for ID and who you are here with. I saw this happen. Turns out the guy was here with another family member to pick up his nephew or something. Most of the teachers will know who the parents are and they know all the kids. 3. Cleanliness. They wear disposable booties before entering the infant room as they want to keep the floors cleans since the babies are crawling/walking all over. They told me they sanitize everything on a daily basis. Unfortunately, kids will still share things and its just unavoidable. 4. I love that it is 4 babies to 1 teacher in the infant room. I feel like my son still gets the care he needs. 5. The teachers come up with different fun curriculum. They are always singing and playing with sensory activities. I love that my som gets to socialize with other kids and they can learn from each other since some were walking already when my son started. The teachers also helped practice with my son with sitting and walking. Love it! 6. The Teachers. As mentioned, Ms Herlinda and Ms Marisu are amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about the children. Also, Ms. Marisu will provide some advice when I am not sure what foods to bring or bottles. First time mom so it can be confusing. The teachers are sending us daily photos of my son throughout the day and I can view them on the KinderCare app. Only thing I wish they had were cameras inside the rooms. I don't necessarily need access to them for live feeds but it would be good to know in case something really bad happens. I don't think that would happen but just nice to know they would have them. We have been part of the Milpitas kindercare family for two years now. Our daughter started in the Toddler room, then moved to the Discovery preschool, and currently in the preschool class. We're extremely delighted with the experience as all the teachers and staff go above and beyond in ensuring an excellent environment for the kids. They helped our daughter cross the different milestones with special mention for all the patience and support with potty training. We feel happy as our daughter enjoys her time there and we appreciate the different indoor and outdoor activities they organize at the place. Everyone from the Director to Asst. Director, class teachers to the support staff are kind, warm, and always supportive. They listen to any concerns and offer a supportive approach to work towards the issue as a family. We're happy our friends recommended this location; we understand as parents it can get tough to find the right place where the kids can have a great time, while feeling loved and cared at the same time. We're happy to see our daughter grow and make so many memories with everyone at Kindercare :) Our daughter is attending the preschool class at Kindercare for almost 9-10 months now and we thoroughly appreciate the experience. We appreciate Room 6 Ms. Maria's fine balance between love and discipline that our daughter understands her words so well! I also appreciate Ms. Maria's communication because she patiently understands our inputs and makes suggestions based on our daughter's needs. The photos and videos on the app are so special because we get a chance to see our child grow while making new friends. We have seen a major change in our daughter's vocabulary; she really loves to talk and make new sentences. She also enjoys scribbling and attempts to write due to the fun activities in school. I was stunned to see a recent baseless one-star review for Ms. Shareese and Ms. Reina. Without evidence, anyone can make unfounded claims with no consequences. I have had 2 children In Ms. Shareese and Ms. Reina's classroom and couldn't be happier about the growth socially emotionally and academically over the years. Ms. Shareese and Reina are simply the best teachers who care so much about their students and go above and beyond helping the families everyday. Their classroom is clean, organized, enriched and amazing. There is so much curriculum and learning evidence everywhere in the room. Our daughter attended the Milpitas Kindercare from 2017 to 2022 and absolutely loved her experience. As first time parents, we were apprehensive about leaving our child in the care of strangers but the center quickly won our trust and the staff/administration were great to work with during our daughter's early development. Particularly during her potty training phase where the teachers listened to our plan and helped us achieve our goals. Because our experience was so positive, we had no hesitation in enrolling our son when he was born. He is currently enrolled in room 5 with Ms. Shareese and Ms. Reina and has grown so much academically under their charge. On many occasions, our son has told us that he loves his class. And on mornings where going to school is "too much to handle", Ms. Reina greets him with a hug and makes things better. Ms. Shareese and Ms. Reina have always been tremendous educators to work with. If we could not make a parent/teacher meeting because of scheduling conflicts they would work with us to find a better time to discuss our kids progress. They also went out of their way to recommend activities/exercises to help our children improve their numbers and letters. And on a few occasions, I was able to see Ms. Shareese or Ms. Reina have conversions with our son after he got upset about something. The seriousness and respect he expressed in those moments towards Ms. Shareese and Ms. Reina are a testament to their patience, care and dedication to the kids in their class. All told, Ms. Fara, Ms. Cora and Ms. Yesenia have created a fantastic environment where the kids can learn, play and grow. The teachers have been a pleasure to work with and they give the kids so many opportunities to create fond, lasting memories. So much so, in fact, that my daughter loves going back to the center to say hello to her old teachers. June 2024 marks our 3rd anniversary of being a Kindercare, Milpitas family. Our journey from the Infant Room to Pre-K has been a very satisfying and positive experience. This Child Development Center is clean, hygienic, and NAEYC accredited. The safest haven for our daughter and we have "0" worries when she is here. We love their App as it keeps us abreast about our child's real-time activities from meals taken, lessons taught, and extracurricular activities done to their nap time.  We are thrilled to see our child's holistic development over these precious toddler years.  The Center Director, Ms. Fara is always available for any guidance, fosters transparent communication, and does everything possible to make our kids rightfully happy. The Admin team, Ms. Yesenia themes the center marvelously taking into consideration every detail with her creativity. Ms. Cora is one of the Best Teachers we could have asked for, her style of teaching is so playful that my kid doesn't want to miss a single class. Love this KinderCare center. My daughter started in the toddler room (Room 2) just a few months after her first birthday, and of course, she was nervous being in a new environment. However, thanks to the help of her teachers, she was able to adapt and became very comfortable going to daycare. Ms Reyna, Ms Hoang, Ms Therese, Ms Azelia, Ms Janet and Ms Romina all made sure she was welcomed and enjoyed her time there. My daughter did have a strong connection with Ms Reyna, which helped made drop offs easier because my daughter would see a familiar face and walk into class with ease. I also appreciated that the teachers of Room 2 responded to any messages that I had sent in a timely manner, which gave me peace knowing my daughter was in good hands with her teachers. Dad and I are forever grateful of this class/center, because all of the teachers do their best to get to know their kids and help them have a good day. I also really liked that before starting a class or transitioning to a new classroom, parents have the chance to sit down and talk to the teacher to get to know them. It helped that we were able to see how their day will go and ask any questions or bring up any concerns that we would have. Overall, really like the KinderCare center in Milpitas. Worst child care service ever in my opinion. If you had to spend close to $2000 per month then go and find yourself a better place for your child. I don't think this school is safe, I feel there are safety concerns and the school lacks transparency. I wonder how they still have their licenses intact ! Also the hygiene sucks. I can't speak about other teachers but certainly in my opinion Miss Reina and Miss Shareese(apparently sisters) are lazy, aweful caregivers who lie through their teeth. We had a very bad experience at a different Kindercare location, but were pleasantly surprised to see our son doing great in the Milpitas location here and we love it. My son has transitioned 3 classes in this location and the teachers in every single room are very loving and caring. Ms M, Ms Cherise, Ms Ravinder, Ms Shawneese, Ms Lilliana, Ms Maggie, were all the teachers that my son had and he loves them. My son got very attached to the teachers in each room and found it initially tough during each transition, but the teachers were great in handling him. The teachers always make sure to provide positive and constructive feed back in a very nice way. The management is great and I love the various different activities that are planned for the kids throughout the year. Walking into the center, I had a great first impression of this place, everywhere was very very clean and organized. I started looking for a place three months prior to the birth of my son and I just fell in love with the infant room. Clean and organized, friendly and caring staff and very cooperative and responsive admin team. My daughter Sophia started daycare here at 4-month old and it was a very tough decision for me to send her away from home. However, I am so grateful that everyone here took great care of our baby girl. Prior to her day 1, we met the center Director Fara and one of the infant room lead Ms. Marysu to go over my baby's needs. During the first week, Ms.Marysu, Ms.Herlinda, and other staff members were extremely patient, caring, and loving to our baby. They quickly understood my baby's feeding and napping habit and helped her adjust to this new routine. When my baby refused feeding, they were so patient and kept trying a few times to make sure that she doesn't fall behind her nutrition intake. Original review : We started this daycare a month ago. We were charged 10% more than actual tuition since director forgot to apply company discount. She didn't give us full refund which we unreasonably charged (202 dollar...It is not small amount) We chose this daycare because of company's discount, so I really want them to refund the correct amount. I was visiting day cares for my child who will be 6 mo at enrollment. This place had availability but the price is very high because it's also a learning facility. At my visit, it was a bare room with not a lot of toys. The teachers were more like nurses checking the list off. It was snack time when I entered and there was not of lot interaction between teacher and children. The teacher was more like a nurse. It seemed like if i was going to pay $400+ a week i would want some love and care, i don't know how much my child will really learn "colors" or "seasons" at this young age. I'm reading to him every night in his bed time routine anyway. I just want to see him play and be a happy, cared for baby. read more

I was a shy kid and my mother would give me things of hers to comfort me while I was here, typically cheap jewelry but the staff would immediately steal this jewelry from me and claim it as their own. I had to pull my son out. Here's the long and short of it. There are pockets of good people here - some of the care-givers. The bad. My son was sick for two months straight. Young man had foot and mouth disease, admin couldn't get a hold of his parents, so they kept the kid in the room and " tried to separate him". How horrible for all involved. One particular morn, my son was left sitting across the room, by himself, clearly saddened because the teachers were busy. Broke my heart. My son learned to hit, yell, bite and show anger as he learned his first words. Care-givers are more concerned about breaks than kids. Son came home with injuries that were unexplained. When the admin was questioned, they "would look into it". Visible bite marks hours later. The director burst into the room as I was dropping off my tot and she hit him with the door. No report. Split his lip. The dog and pony show looks great, but for $1600 a month I expect something further from a gulag. There is better care out there, but it is so hard to find and get into. Don't be as naive as I was and try to reason it away. If the kid is not happy, they have a valid reason. Even if they can't talk. read more

Every time I here someone talking about looking for a day care I immediately recommend this location. Not only is our daughter thriving in this environment, the teachers have provided more than exceptional results and really show that they care about the futures of the children. The director and assistant director Denise Reid and Christine Fennell go above and beyond to make sure that every child is getting the most out of their time at KinderCare. After an extensive daycare search (we toured 6) we enrolled our daughter here last February. It's hard to tell from tours, but we felt like it was a good choice, and after meeting with the teachers, I definitely found them capable (I have a Master's in Early Childhood Education). At that point, we felt like it was close to home (which really matters here!) and good enough. Since starting, I have been blown away. I think it is exactly the right mix of very developmentally-appropriate activities with unstructured play, all within totally safe boundaries. The teachers are SO caring and the communication from the administration is above and beyond - we feel like we're the only family for the level of time and attention we get! Our daughter is timid and we enrolled her during an especially clingy stage, but she has gradually gotten so much more enthusiastic and after a couple weeks she was walking right in, so excited to go which is a real tribute to the staff. Everyone we have interacted with has been so kind, this place is an amazing value comparably. The app is updated regularly so I feel like throughout the day, I know exactly what is going on. Also, since moving to COVID-19 precautions, the school feels so safe. I was initially very worried about sending our LO to daycare, but it couldn't be more clear that the staff is doing everything they can to follow rigorous protocols, while also still streamlining pick-up and drop-off. I have been apart of the Kindercare family for nearly 14 years. My 17 year old started when he was 4, my twin 11 year olds were 5 months, and my 5 year old was 4 months. There are a handful of the "original" group of teachers still there, which I like, especially for the infants. Marisu helped take care of all 3 of my girls!! When having no option but to work, knowing my children were in good hands is what allowed my days to flow. My youngest just left this past August to attend Kindergarten. I was sad to leave but not as sad as she. The school she attends was closed two days last week for inservice. Thankfully Kindercare will allow her back on days like this. My daughter just dealt with a new environment/friends for Kindergarten, I dreaded the thought of having to transition her to an additional new place. Knowing she was going back to visit her old school made her day or should I say week. Once I told her she was going she asked everyday until the time came. Kindercare is very structured. The front office ladies are very helpful. Had I sensed anything but positive feelings towards Kindercare from any of my kids, I would have stopped being apart of the family at that point. I think I can squeeze another 6 months out of them during inservice days before my youngest is too old to attend, unless of course they go back to caring for school aged kids...;) read more

Ok, so I actually drove to the center to check it out. The first red flag is that there is a funeral home/crematorium right next door to the preschool! I would not want my children breathing all those fumes all day long. Second, the center itself looks worn out and dirty. The toys and furniture look like they've seen much better days. Disclaimer: My son has NOT attended for about a year and a half now (he was there from mid-Sept 2014 to mid-Dec 2014) and I have been debating over this time period on whether or not I should write the review...... and this may be a VERY long review.. and my heart still aches a little every time I think about it... and this review is not meant to speak poorly of the staff or anyone that works there... this is MY personal experience and how I felt (each child is different and I feel like my child wasn't suited for this environment... details below...) My advice (not to just here, but any place you leave your child): 1) Pop in unexpectedly. That's when you will know what actually goes on.. 2) Trust your instincts. I am not saying any of the ladies here were liars or didn't try to care for my son properly.. but I always felt something was wrong and was reassured everything was fine and it was an adjustment period.... until I started popping in unexpectedly.... 3) My son attended when he was almost 2 months old.. and we understood that he was young and probably needed a little time to adjust to the environment... I wanted to give my son a bit of time to get use to the place so his days were short (8AM-2PMish) even though we paid for the full day. I was hoping in time, I would be able to slowly have him stay longer... I always took the first few days/weeks of consistent crying to be his "adjustment period" since he was with me the first two months of his life... even though I felt uneasy about it. I was reassured this was normal and kids will get use to it in time... I tried not to think much into it and expressed my concerns with my husband and asked how the staff how he was doing during the day... they kept telling me he was crying but it was normal crying.. nothing unusual or anything for me to be too worried about.. it broke my heart to see his eyes red and puffy every time I picked him up..... but I tried not to worry.. After about a month and a half, I started popping in earlier to see how he was doing... and for the most part he was just lying there (he was an infant that couldn't move yet, I didn't expect anything else)... it was the times that I caught him crying and ignored is what concerned me... I know there are other kids and my son cannot receive all the attention but.. it still breaks my heart to see my son going through such a hard time.... So over the next month, here are the things I saw when I popped in unexpectedly (obviously not every day.. but once a week or once every two weeks.. which leads me to wonder to what I wasn't able to see: 1) My son was left crying in his crib for who knows how long... they said he just started crying.. but visibly, it appeared to me that he's been crying for a while... 2) This situation above, has also happened more several times, not in the crib but on the floor, left alone to cry. 3) I was sitting with my son, feeding him before we left.. and saw another little on crawl super fast and was about to take a swipe at another little infant.... the crawler was grabbed... but I always wonder if it's because I was there watching the whole situation....... Has anyone taken a swipe at my kid???? 4) I picked up my son and they told me he just woke up... so I went to grab him and started gathering his things... I smelled poop and asked about it.. and they said he must has just pooped because they just changed him right after he woke up... they said they could change him really quick but I declined and said I'm ready to go and I'll just change him when I get home (I live less then 10 mins away).. and my thought was that if he just pooped, I'd rather wash him since his has sensitive skin and easily gets rashes.... When I got home to change him.. the poop on his diaper was DRY. There is NO WAY the poop could have dried that fast (this is BM poop, so its liquidy)... so needless to say... they left my son to sit in his poop for who knows how long..... 5) Someone else's bottle was left in my son's drawer of things to take home. 6) They had given my son someone else's pacifier to suck on. An important note is that my son is very demanding and demands TONS of attention.... so I understood that he could not receive ALL the attention and there were other kids that needed attending to. BUT it's interesting for me to also note that during the first few weeks when I didn't drop by unexpectedly and came "on time", my son was clean and I didn't see anything unusual happening.. he cried and it was visibly noticeable that he was crying.. but nothing appeared to be wrong or unusual.... I truly wanted to like this place as what their "philosophy" is and everything seems to encourage growth and learning... so maybe this program is better for older kids? I don't know.. but odds of my returning or recommending this place.. is HIGHLY unlikely... read more

OK three things... 1. Kids fight I get that but they don't care to inform. You come back from a hard day at work and see your kids covered with scratches. 2. U leave your kid come back to pick him and the teacher taking care of your kid is gone so you have no way of knowing what happened the entire day except looking at a piece of paper no interaction what so ever. 3. My daughter vomited for 3 day straight as she was given stuff she was allergic to.. I would give them a minus if I could. read more

I wish I had never signed up for this center. Their administrative staff is completely incompetent, and if they are that incompetent with billing issues I don't want to think how it is with the kids. I'm glad my kids don't go there anymore! There was a billing issue with my account and even though I brought the discrepencies to their attention immediately they never made the adjustments to my account. I continued to mentioned it and was told they would be made, however when we dis-enrolled 1 month later I had a remaining balance. At that point I told the center to please make the adjustments to my account and I would pay the remaining balance. I didn't hear back from them until the corporate collections mailed me in November. I worked with them to try to correct the balance, however even though we were still trying to track down the adjustments they sent me to third party collections. Although they admitted this was their fault they wouldn't correct the issue. It has been a nightmare trying to get this account settled. read more

I sent my child here for one day as part of emergency daycare provided through my company. The place is overcrowded, dirty (toys looked like they have not been cleaned or sanitized for ages) and the kids are aggressive. Both of my child's cheeks got scratches on them from an "incident" with another child that they never bother to call me about immediately after it happened. The staff/teachers were uninterested, I had to tell them I have these enrollment and emergency paperwork I need to turn in to them. Overall, do you child a service and find a better center, it's way too crowded here for anything but a "daycare" vs getting some sort of learning out of it. read more
