What a great stay and experience. My wife found the Distillery Inn for a getaway to Glenwood Springs. We've stayed in many of the Glenwood hotels and they're fine. Carbdondale is 14 miles away and 20-25 minutes. It is a beautiful drive between the two and was great exploring another mountain town. The Distillery Inn is a breath of fresh air. They offer five rooms. One is downstairs adjacent to the distillery and tasting room. It is handicap accessible. The other four are just up a few sets of stairs and have their own balconies. The room we stayed in Ginger is gorgeous. It is modern and offers a ton of space. The bathroom is large with a closet with safe, large counter with oversized sink, bathroom with sliding door and walk in shower with rain and handheld heads. The bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets. There is a gas fireplace and coffee machine and mini fridge. They do offer a minibar and their own spirits to buy. The room had a couch and desk as well as a patio with two chairs to relax in. On the second floor is an outdoor patio with several tables to sit at. We took advantage of unseasonably warm weather in November to eat meals at. The patio has a beautiful view of Carbondale. They provide daily newspapers and in the hallway for the rooms are additional coffee pods, plates and silverware for eating in your room. The owner Connie was extremely helpful going above and beyond to surprise my wife with flowers. She gave me different options and the vase and flowers were in the room when we checked in. She answered questions we had and helped us troubleshoot a small problem with some of the technology. The tasting room is gorgeous. We didn't spend much time there but enjoued live music from the patio (with fireplace) just outside. They have reserved parking for Inn guests behind the building in the alley. They do have free charging for electric vehicles which is very uncommon. We did buy a few bottles of their Moonlight Espresso and Whiskey and they are both delicious and oh so drinkable. The downtown of Carbondale was quiet but filled with lots of restaurants, shops and mountain hospitality. Looking forward to returning to the Distillery Inn on future visits. read more

What a surprise to find such beautiful rooms hidden upstairs from the bar and distillery on the ground level. Immaculately clean & way more upscale than we first thought. Walking distance to everything, including Main St shops and restaurants, hiking trails and a working farm w/ animals to visit. Five rooms total were perfect for gathering family while each having our own rooms. A rooftop area extended shared areas. Best of all, they distill their own brand of vodka and whisky and serve creative mixed drinks downstairs. You could never find this at a name brand chain hotel. GREAT mattress, a gas fireplace, high end bathroom finishes, stocked mini fridge and in case you need them, snacks for purchase. Bags of ice are steps from each door, along with a little coffee/tea/newspaper area for the floor. No front desk. No office. But the ladies who run the Inn are friendly and efficient, communicating via email and phone. You get a keyed entry code prior to arrival. Small town hospitality without the awkward B&B interactions. We all loved it and will be back again. read more

I have to admit I was nervous to visit during COVID, but once we arrived I felt so much better! They took very careful care of us, you could tell the rooms were spotless, and they went hand over foot to make sure every one of our needs were met. We had cocktails waiting for us in our room when we arrived. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance of downtown and several restaurants, not to mention their own tasting room! This location is such a cool find. We stayed there one night in late June 2020 and it was perfect for COVID as we were able to enter with a code and without having to checkin with a person. They also allow pups which was necessary for us. Even though the space is not huge it was laid out in a really smart way and the bathroom was beautiful and honestly 2/3rd the size of the living space. It didn't have a tub (which I usually prefer) but the shower was amazing. Also it had a cute patio with a built in bench area that was perfect for reading. Since it's part of the distillery they left pre-made drinks for us when we arrived and had a fully stocked bar. We went downstairs to grab a drink from the distillery and the staff was extremely nice and very quick with service. read more

This is a great destination place. The rooms are exquisite will every detail thought out before you even knew you wanted it. The showers are inspiring! They are teak wood and are so modern and sleek. We stayed on our anniversary weekend and can't wait to come back! The check in and check out is super modern and you never see any staff. I have to rave here. I stayed in the rooms for two nights and enjoyed the bar both nights. Rooms are perfect! Perfect setup. Perfect usage of space. Perfect bed. Perfect tile. Perfect steam shower. I mean perfect! I stayed in Aspen the weekend before at a place double the price. This place was nicer! Bar was great. Nice older after work business crowd. Only two things. Please add parking for guests and the trailer across the street kills your million dollar vibe a bit. I will stay here again and pop in time to time for the bar. Thank you! read more

Found this by accident when looking for a hotel near the hot-springs! We are both bourbon lovers so that was a bonus and the Hoovers we bought was phenomenal! Little things like walking in and feeling like your a guest in someone's home to the dog bog and treat for our pup!! And the amenities were fantastic! From the rain shower to the stocked fridge to the comfy bed! Would absolutely stay again and recommend this place to our friends and family. read more

I am proud to be the first Yelper to review The Marble Distillery & Inn. We stayed during their "soft opening" just before the Grand Opening on June 5th. We loved it! The rooms are awesome; there are only five of them, but all are nice as far as we could tell. I've traveled a lot over a 30 year corporate career and stayed in many fine hotels, and Marble's room are right up there: high ceilings, fireplace, quality furnishings, private deck, stone bathroom, and state of the art electronics and HVAC. I particularly liked the "water fall" shower. Remember, this business is a distillery first, and is not a full service hotel, so no room service and such, but they have a fun tasting room and great indoor/outdoor gathering spaces. They also make some great vodka and liqueurs. The owners are two friendly successful couples who love what they are doing. So when in Carbondale Colorado, or the Roaring Fork Valley (which includes Aspen), check out The Marble Distillery and Inn; you will not be disappointed. We will be back soon! read more

The Distillery inn is incredible. We stayed in the moonlight suite and it far surpassed our expectations. The room was very modern and well kept. The only down side is we brought our 2 dogs and there wasn't really anywhere for them to go potty except on the balcony/outside porch, which felt a bit disrespectful. (On the plus side there is a very nice dog park 10 min walk down the road) The marble bar was fun but what really made it 5 star worthy were the people. They seemed genuinely kind, maybe it's the small town environment but either way we highly recommend visiting the distillery inn / marble bar. read more

For anyone whose been to Carbondale, you know they have great food and great ppl. Now they have a beautiful hotel in the heart of town. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious bathrooms with separate toilet, rain shower, plush robes, and fluffy towels. Fully stocked mini bar, kitchenette area featuring a Nescafé espresso maker, and my favorite feature touchpad temperature control and fireplace control! Comfy beds made for restful nights and the balcony made for a great place to read a book after work. In addition to a great hotel the team was great, everyone was so welcoming and helpful! One of my favorite hotels ever! Rooms were perfect size with cool modern decor. I had a wonderful view from the balcony and the fireplace kept us warm in the winter. Bathroom was spacious with a rain shower and great lighting. They even had a mini bar complete with all the fixing and equipment for drinks. Location was great. Only confusingly part was check-in/out since there's no front desk but they send an email the day of with instructions. Definitely worth 5 stars and I'll be back again!! read more

We stayed in the Moonlight Suite for two nights when traveling between Telluride and Aspen. The space was comfortable and well laid out. The bedding was divine. My husband and I loved the cocktail/ bar equipment in the room. We enjoyed cocktails by the inside/outside fireplace. The location was a perfect spot for dining out in the town of Carbondale which is charming. We drove to Aspen which was not far at all. There is no reason not to stay with Dorian and crew when you are in the area! read more

We could not be happier we stayed at The Distillery Inn. The staff was very friendly and laid back, and the inn has so much character we immediately fell in the love with it! We stayed with our two dogs in the Crystal room and were greeted with homemade dog treats, two dog beds and an awesome room. The decor has an impeccable modern design yet cozy feel. The lounge at the Inn was perfect for a before or after dinner cocktail, their crafted cocktails were amazing. The staff was more than happy to provide us with recommendations on restaurants and things to do around town. The location is perfect, right on main street so you can walk to all of the restaurants. Everything was walking distance in Carbondale but if you don't want to walk, there are cruiser bikes available to get you around. Can't say enough great things about this inn and The Marble Distillery that houses it. We happened upon The Distillery Inn after a long car trip through Utah and it felt like a little piece of Heaven. Cary, Dorian and their family and colleagues designed an inn as unique and special as their state of the art distillery. The whole experience was wonderful. The room is exactly as pictured on their site and every decision was made with elegance, comfort and design fun in mind as they built this beautiful place. The staff arranged our meals and other fun events around town and taught us about the distillery and their delicious brands. We had so much fun and felt like instant friends.
