What a great stay and experience. My wife found the Distillery Inn for a getaway to Glenwood…read moreSprings. We've stayed in many of the Glenwood hotels and they're fine. Carbdondale is 14 miles away and 20-25 minutes. It is a beautiful drive between the two and was great exploring another mountain town. The Distillery Inn is a breath of fresh air. They offer five rooms. One is downstairs adjacent to the distillery and tasting room. It is handicap accessible. The other four are just up a few sets of stairs and have their own balconies. The room we stayed in Ginger is gorgeous. It is modern and offers a ton of space. The bathroom is large with a closet with safe, large counter with oversized sink, bathroom with sliding door and walk in shower with rain and handheld heads. The bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets. There is a gas fireplace and coffee machine and mini fridge. They do offer a minibar and their own spirits to buy. The room had a couch and desk as well as a patio with two chairs to relax in. On the second floor is an outdoor patio with several tables to sit at. We took advantage of unseasonably warm weather in November to eat meals at. The patio has a beautiful view of Carbondale. They provide daily newspapers and in the hallway for the rooms are additional coffee pods, plates and silverware for eating in your room. The owner Connie was extremely helpful going above and beyond to surprise my wife with flowers. She gave me different options and the vase and flowers were in the room when we checked in. She answered questions we had and helped us troubleshoot a small problem with some of the technology. The tasting room is gorgeous. We didn't spend much time there but enjoued live music from the patio (with fireplace) just outside. They have reserved parking for Inn guests behind the building in the alley. They do have free charging for electric vehicles which is very uncommon. We did buy a few bottles of their Moonlight Espresso and Whiskey and they are both delicious and oh so drinkable. The downtown of Carbondale was quiet but filled with lots of restaurants, shops and mountain hospitality. Looking forward to returning to the Distillery Inn on future visits.

I have to admit I was nervous to visit during COVID, but once we arrived I felt so much better!…read moreThey took very careful care of us, you could tell the rooms were spotless, and they went hand over foot to make sure every one of our needs were met. We had cocktails waiting for us in our room when we arrived. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance of downtown and several restaurants, not to mention their own tasting room! I absolutely recommend this a a nice little get away. We'll definitely be returning!

This past weekend we stayed at the element under a "wedding block"/discount code for my sisters…read morewedding. I have so many amazing things to say about this hotel. It is so clean. Even standard rooms are equipped with a full size fridge, small kitchenette, couch and are very clean and spacious. The one bedroom suites were amazing as well. The patio is a perfect gathering space, and clean indoor gym and pool. They have complimentary breakfast and happy hour with free beer and wine and snacks. But notably the staff was so accommodating and wonderful. My sister and her wife were originally set up at the Hoffman across the street. Immediately they were so disappointed with their customer service, ammenties, and their room which also smelt like sewage! With that service to the two brides who booked a block w a very pricey deposit at the Hoffman, that was unacceptable service. I went down and spoke to Brittany if there was any room for them two after telling her about their experience. Originally there was two suites available and when they officially decided to jump ship there was only a standard queen available. We gave them our king standard and they went out of their way to call around and move reservations to ensure the brides got a suite. They were so accommodating and went out of their way to make the weekend special for the brides, something the Hoffman couldn't even bother to do with the brides in person struggling to haul their belongings and dresses to their room with no help. The element even left flowers in their room. This is not to be a Hoffman diss review, but rather to highlight how above and beyond this establishment went for the occasion. Their agreement with the element was just a discount code with no deposit or money down for the occasion. I won't say how much they put down for a deposit for reserving the blocks at the Hoffman but it was $$$$$. Shout out Brittany. Shout out the whole staff, I never had a bad experience or anything but going above and beyond. Every guest who stayed there In our party has no complaints and they made our weekend amazing and so convenient.

They also have the bicycle that you can use for riding around town along with helmet, no charges for this. Pool and hot tub is available. Nice outdoor patio with fireplace. Some of the rooms have backdoor connections to grass area,I really liked that part. Plenty of free parking available. Overall nice stay.
