Frantic calls and 2 high-stress days only made it worse. Everything we read and researched showed a minimum 10-day processing time to get visas. We filled out the online visa application through the Brazil consulate website and started praying for a miracle! My wife found the Travel Visa Pro website, and I dismissed it as a scam. After researching TVP on the BBB web site, Yelp and other review sites, we contacted TVP and talked with several staff. Anna and Joya were very helpful, but I was still skeptical. We talked with Ruta, who specializes in Brazil visas at TVP and she reassured us that they work magic every day and could help us too. Long story short, our visa applications were in process and no longer just sitting on someone's desk at the Consulate, TVP wasn't able to pull them back and get it done for us. ...but... had we started with TVP, we would be visiting our Brazilian "family" today already. Sure, their service is not free, but you get what you pay for and TVP delivers. Anyone facing a short-notice or emergency visa need - contact Travel Visa Pros FIRST - before you start anything with the country you want to visit. They'll tell you straight, and do everything possible to make it happen. I sure wish I had listened to my wife right off the bat.

We were taking an urgent international flight out the following week. As soon as we entered the building, the security was really kind and patient dealing with my toddler going thru security. It wasn't jam packed at all. The staff workers were also kind. I love the fact that there was a childrens area. With coloring books & cartoons playing. I appreciated that so much! As my daughter can be very hyper active. Seeing the play area really calmed her down. As long as you follow directions, do your part & bring all the documents they ask, things will go smoothly. Just a tip for mothers...make sure you dont add barrettes & hair bows to your daughters hair in the passport photos as they will not accept the photo I had to get the photo retaken but once that was done & accepted, we got our passports the same day. I recommend.

Beverly Brown at check-in guided me through booking an appt for next day, as none were available for today, then calling and getting it changed to today. She made sure I completed the correct forms and then brought my situation to the supervisor attention. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful, friendlier, team. I have traveled to over 70 countries, so have had a few passport experiences, but this was a first for needing "day-of" assistance. Thank you Minneapolis US Passport office. Very dissatisfied. Do not confuse this business with the legitimate Health Partners Travel Clinic…read more Passport health does not take any insurance. They wanted 700.00 for a vaccine I ended up getting at Walgreens for 15.00. Also, I got pressured about getting a Yellow Fever vaccine and it is not required for the country I am traveling to. You're charged $78 for the nurse to read a piece of paper to you. This place DOESN'T EVEN have what seems like a majority of the immunizations that people are going to want IN STOCK. You'll have to take more time off work to visit the Edina location for them to be useful. The other review that I read said it wasn't even labeled on the outside, which is technically untrue, there is a small sign next to the door that is closed and has no window. Honestly, just close this location, it's sad. Passport Health's business model is disgusting and non-transparent. You honestly are better off going to a minute clinic or Walgreens unless you have so much money and don't know what to do with it and don't care that passport health literally put almost nothing into making this location even slightly bearable. I'm 23 and have never been outside the country and decided to push myself to do some traveling while I'm young. I'm going on a two week trip to Brazil and didn't want any surprises, so in addition to many other things, I decided to pay for what I thought would be a quick yellow fever vaccine. This place didn't even have it in stock. I took time off of work for my appointment and they were going to make me come in the next day to be able to do it and I couldn't do that anyway. Like I said before it's $78 for the "consultation" alone. The profit margins on vaccines at this place must be ENORMOUS because I would have had to pay $245 for the yellow fever vaccine a plus another $30-70 fee I couldn't remember the name of... Honestly what the heck is wrong with health care in America? Upon paying my useless fee that got me nothing, I decided to just take my chances with yellow fever in Brazil. Upon further thinking, I decided not to let the U.S. health care system win by letting me expose myself to yellow fever, I decided to pay for the vaccine in Brazil. Where it's only a quick $48 vaccine in Rio.

A fantastic fortnight in Bhutan organised by Windhorse Tours…read more We were a group of four friends who were recommended to use Windhorse by a travelling friend. Initially I liased with Windhorse director Jambay with whom we finalised the trip itinerary ( top tip: we went in November high season; accom sells out quickly so try to book at least 6 months in advance), and flights in/out of Bhutan and of course visa which includes Sustainable Development Fee. All was done in a helpful, focussed and professional way. We arrived on two different flights; in each case we were meet & greeted on arrival by our guide, Sonam Loday and our driver, Chorten. On small group tours such as this, the Windhorse team are crucial to the enjoyment of the holiday, and we were extremely happy with ours! Sonam was very experienced, so his planning, anticipation and decision making was first class. Equally importantly, his good humour and love of his job made the history and culture of Bhutan come alive, while always seemingly effortlessly made all go smoothly... What a great guy! Our driver Chorten provided excellent support during activities, but his driving was unbelievable.... So smooth on the winding mountain roads, stopping safely on request for photo ops, and his pristinely clean and maintained van was perfect to carry our group in comfort. Our 13 day itinerary encompassed Central and Western Bhutan, and we never felt rushed, often spending 2 nights in one place. Accom was great and always seemed appropriate to the location, and included guest houses, lodges, and traditional hotels. We always seemed to have the best rooms with views etc. We enjoyed the food, and non of our group had tummy issues throughout the trip. We agreed that Bhutan is a fantastic place to visit, and Windhorse made our trip perfect.... At a very reasonable cost.

There was no question who we would arrange our tour with this year: Windhorse Tours! We booked a 10 day tailor-made tour with 2 days acclimatization hiking around the beautiful Haa Valley; time in Thimphu and then 7 days trekking the Jomolhari loop. We booked to go late October/early November... usually a sweet spot between the end of summer rain and the start of snow accumulation in the mountains. This year was unusual. While it's understood weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, this year Cylcone Montha inserted itself into our plans bringing heavy rain, and snow to the mountains. Our excellent guide, Pelden Wangchuk, really took care to ensure our well-being, safety and happiness. While we had planned a circuit trek, significant new snow at higher elevations blocked our path. Pelden was continually checking on conditions ahead, and with us. We all decided to aim for Jomolhari Base Camp but then return the way we came. Remarkably, we awoke at Base Camp to clear skies and spectacular views of Jomolhari. And, one benefit of returning the same way was seeing the gorgeous scenery we missed previously. With larch and other trees in their full autumn colours, the views were quite stunning... often enhanced by high water in the swollen Paro river! We've done a few Himalayan treks and were impressed by the quality of equipment and service provided by Windhorse. Their tent did a remarkable job of staying dry and the sleeping bags were toasty warm. Hot water bottles were a nice touch! It must've been quite a feat keeping our gear and all the tents dry on the inside but somehow the crew did just that. On previous treks, we'd never had a mid-morning hot tea/coffee break, let alone a hot lunch... served by our Camp Assistant with good humour and smiles. Whatever the conditions, our cook turned out a choice of tasty, varied food including unexpected treats like French Toast and a beautifully decorated cake that tasted as good as it looked. All the hotels and food (often buffets) were of top quality too - as they were on our first trip. Even though it rained on our trek, we still enjoyed the whole experience and were again really impressed with Windhorse Tours.

We wired $15,000 on 7/16/19 and until today we never got our money back. When they informed us that we will not go to hajj.. We asked for our money back and they told us after the hajj and till now they didn't transfer the money nor sent us a check They haven't been answering our phone calls or messages or emails and if they answer ..they tell us I will call you this day and they don't! When we finally got hold of their manager "Abdallah" he promised so many times that we will get our money on this day or that day and still nothing. Now Abdallah claims that one of us got the visa but we refused to travel which is not true. We were never told that one of our family members got the visa, when the other two were rejected, they automatically withdrew all passports or that's what we have been told. Its the agency's fault that they didn't notice that 2 of the passports were about to expire in December and KSA requires that passports to be valid for at least 6 months. They sent back 2 passports that were about to expire so that we go to Washington DC to renew them and sent them a scan this time of the passports You haven't been answering phone calls, giving lame excuses to why you haven't sent the money yet. We were also told that you CANNOT BUY TICKETS UNTIL WE GET THE VISA. We DID NOT CANCEL the trip as they claim, we never got the visa to begin with. The money should have been sent right when we didn't get the visa which is 2 months ago. Abdallah called 2 weeks ago saying that he is sending the checks but We can't cash them out all at once due to another lame reason and guess what! WE NEVER GOT THE CHECK AND ITS BEEN 2 weeks SINCE HE CALLED. Long story short you are an untrustworthy agency and everyone should know that BIG ALERT DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS AGENCY
