Since we only had drinks, I'm only rating 3 stars. Dropped in on Saturday afternoon for the first time. The inside bar was half full and about 15 people outside. Our waitress was very good and quite friendly and helpful. Planning to take our wives there for dinner so we'll see how it is with a bigger crowd. read more

Dined here twice in August. Had a very similar experience both nights. The food was good for a bar/grill. The burger was very nice, seemed fresh and juicy. The pizza had fresh vegetable toppings, although the meat toppings were a bit greasy Others had steak, fried fish, and french dip -- all with positive experiences. The decor is awful, think diner past its prime with a touch of frat house dingy. The atmosphere was dead on a Thrs and lively on Friday before a band was due to play. All of that might make it a reasonable place to eat after a long day of golfing, but the service made the experience terrible Our waitress each night was pleasant, and Stephanie was attentive (but Kim? was definitely not). We had to wait 35 and 55 minutes for our food. It was unbearably long for no good reason. Lots of "should be out any time", but more waiting. It's decent food but not worth that wait. read more

Fantastic food! Have not found a bad item on the menu!! The dock dip is the best French dip I have ever had. Service is great. Live bands on the weekend. Great in the summertime. Live bands outside. read more

This place seemed like a good hang out, but the staff, with the crappy service lost my business. First night they charged 18% on our bill for no reason, and refused to remove it. Second time they double charged our drinks, going back there to try and correct it. There will not be a third time. read more

Went there for their Bloody Mary bar. 5 stars for that. However, when you first open the door you're hit with what smells like pee. The whole place smelled like it. Also the floors were very sticky. Even worse than that though was the service. The waitress seemed annoyed that we were even there, never checked on us and we couldn't get her attention for anything including drink refills. She brought the check right after dropping off the food (without us asking for it) which was fine because we wanted to leave. Great Bloody Mary and food was decent but won't be back. read more

The food at The Dock was delicious but the service was the worst I've ever experienced. We started out with Amelia inside and she seemed helpful at first but quickly made us feel like we were a bother to her and she was rarely around. An hour or so into our lunch we asked if there were any open tables outside that we could move to since they were full when we first got there and it was nice out. Without even looking she told us there was no room out there even though we could see open tables. We then asked to be put on a list for when a table opened up and she told us she could do that but if someone else came in asking for the patio they would be put in front of us. Not sure what kind of logic or policy that is. The hostess then came by shortly after and let us know that it wouldn't be a problem if we wanted to move outside and that she would get the tables ready for us. I didn't catch the hostess' name but she was brunette with glasses. She was very kind and helpful to our group. After moving outside we had Amelia for a little longer before she left for the day and we were transferred to Jessica. We were met right away with the same hostility and unwillingness to help that we had already experienced. She was hardly around to help us when we wanted to order more food or drinks, and when she was she would ask one person if they wanted a refill and then walk away without asking the rest of the table if they needed anything. I wish I could give a separate score for the food because we all loved our meals; we have no complaints on how everything came out. Overall, we had excellent food but terrible service. read more

Regular customers, but food quality way down. Ordered pizza to go last week; burnt on top, forgot to put cheese on, and bottom crust un-cooked. Had lunch on deck today. Food ok, but we complained about the 6 people smoking on the deck where food is served . Manager allowed it; said it was ok with her. I don't think the health dept would agree! This restaurant is under ownership since June. A large group of our friends went there (20+) and had great meals. Everything from appetizers, burgers, steak, pizza was outstanding! Everything was homemade, fresh and delicious. Mac and cheese was to die for! Our waitress was knowledgable, friendly and brought out our food in a timely manner. We will definitely be going back! First of all let me let me preface this by saying I'm local to the area and have been coming here for quite a while. The food is your typical bar food, nothing to write home about but nothing to gripe about either. The drinks are very fair priced. The live music is always good. Now, let's start in on the bad. First of all, you'll be greeted at the door with a pungent urine smell that will knock your socks off, the good news is you get used to it after a few minutes. Next is the fact that they have zero intention of cutting people that are inebriated off, so be prepared to deal with frat boy types that are hammered doing inappropriate things. Also to piggy back that I witnessed several people drive off that had no business being behind the wheel. If a little attention was paid these people could've been cutoff long before they reached that status. So if you're cool with all that, come on down, the water is fine. read more
