Redemption! In September 2024, we visited Centre Street Tap House for the first time. The food was good, but the service was lackluster. In October 2024, we moved from Chicago to Portage, Michigan. We visited and ordered from Centre Street Tap House a few more times. Each time, we are disappointed with the service. Tonight . . . redemption! We sat out on the patio on the most beautiful night. Our server, Stephanie was spot on. Just as my brother needed another drink, she was at his elbow, even though we were her ONLY outdoor table. The food was great. The service was great. The manager even stopped by our table. Synchronous perfection! I am going to crave the Greek salad from here on out, by the way. There is nothing better than a meat-free salad with tons of flavor, even before adding the dressing. This is actually kind of bad news. It has been easy to walk by/drive by Centre Street Tap House until now. No longer! I will want to stop by much more frequently after this visit. read more

Service & comfortability was great. They seated us in the back corner which was super Roomy and we could still see the game. The wings are absolutely phenomenal and worth the cost along with their mocktails I got a strawberry and ginger mocktail I don't drink alcohol so I'm super happy that they could accommodate for me and my picky choices. The truffle fries were a little oily to an extent the all-day breakfast burger was pretty good and messy which is never a bad thing when it comes to a good burger however I do wish that there was more flavor to the burger and it was cooked a little bit better, I asked for medium rare and got well so it was a little chewy here and there. I highly recommend the wings and their cocktail menu or mocktails depending on your taste. The wait is a little bit on the longer side when it comes to around lunch time however once it hit almost 3:00 the place was almost empty. All in all our experience was great and I would come here again preferably for wings. read more

After helping my sister in law move into her new apartment we decided to grab a bit to eat here. The drinks and appetizers came out quick and the kids loved the hot pretzels. Unfortunately the meals were hit or miss. My wifes nachos were fantastic as were the kids mac and cheese (not Kraft), but my mother in laws soup tasted slightly burned like maybe the bottom of the pot had burned and my lobster roll was tasteless and light on the filling. I heard good things about their ramen and decided to give it a try. I added steak thinking it would be good and their online menu said it was an up charge of $9, but when I got there to pay, my bill said it was an additional $12. So my ramen costed me about $28. This is highly disappointing since it was basically inedible. Imagine eating plain salt, but make it saltier. I have no idea if it was truly a mistake there being that much salt in it, but it was insanely salty. I even tried adding water to it- didn't help much. Overall just really disappointing. I would only give 1 star, but my friend's food was good (the fish and chips). read more

I have loved this restaurant, and many other Millennium restaurants in this area, for the past 10 years. I recommend it often to friends. But tonight was completely awful: 1 hour & 20 minutes = we had ZERO food. We had ordered very soon after arriving. Some people around us were getting their food. We nicely told the staff that we had not received our food yet. Finally it was so late that we had to leave for an event we had to get to. It was awful service, a half "Sorry", no offer to comp our two drinks, nothing. Still hungry we had to leave. And we won't be back. Big fail. So an ad popped up advertising they New Years Day Bloody Mary bar and so, as my wife and I have frequented Millennium group restaurants for decades. As we entered right at opening we were warned that there may be a delay in orders which we expected being Nee Years Day and a line out the door at opening. What we came to experience was one of the worst experiences at ANY establishment. Two hours and only a single glass of water for the two of us, no Bloody Mary and no food. Several tables were served several rounds of Bloody Mary's while the only attention we ever received was asking if we had ordered a Bloody Mary with a chocolate donut (which we had not). Not sure where the disconnect was with this event but it has caused me to question going to an event at a Millennium restaurant again. read more

I have been to this restaurant many times. I usually order the Asian salad and normally it's great. Last night I was served the salad and there was a big white/grey matter on top of the pea pods. I used my fork to see what it was and it was a moldy wet pile of grossness. The salad had clearly been made a long time ago and the pea pods had rotted. Ok historically I have not been a fan of this s place and have only gone begrudgingly when dragged by friends as today. What's different today is I actually enjoyed the food and felt it was acceptable quality. Even though Generals Chicken was a temporary item I thought it was good. I would like to start off with thanks for the great service. Atmosphere was a gastropub style. We went on a slow night, A Sunday. We would rate the food out of 10. Ahhhh it's tough everything came out perfect other than the fries. A tad bit soggy. The calamari that I had came out perfect. She had the Carolina sandwich I had the fish and chips. Fish cooked perfectly sandwich delicious. So we're gonna give it a 8 if the fries were a little crunchy I would be a perfect 10. One of my favorite local places to go whether it's for a meeting, with friends, family dinned, or date night. I always can count on the food coming out tasting great and the service to be pretty good. Their menu has pretty much gourmet American/ bar foods with a somewhat eclectic flair about them. Parmesan truffle fries, tsunami burger, mojo chicken tacos, just to name a few. The truffle fries are however amazing every time!! Drinks are pretty reasonable considering sometimes I order a dirty martini and spend upward of $9. Today's dirty was $7. There's an extensive draft beer list with many craft beers making an appearance, as I'd hope for being a "Taphouse"! Many times they switch up the taps as well to give you more seasonal brews. The deserts also are something to write home about! I don't know about you, but I find deserts lacking at many places these days!! (Or maybe I'm just too full usually to enjoy?). The atmosphere and staff are always really nice. There beer list is also amazing. They almost always have a heffeweizen or a german wheat beer on tap. On this trip however the food was only ok. Their ramen bowl was spicy with some nice herbs but it could have used more cilantro. There worst part was the noodles were gluey and the broth didnt really have much depth to it. We also had some nachos which we enjoyed. They squirt lime over it which is refreshing. It makes what can be a heavy greasy dish into a light app. But it did strike one of my pet peeves, that is, the topping wherent spread out evenly. There were clumps of toppings and a lot of empty chips. So i would save the asian style dishes for asian restaurants. If you come here go more pub food. In fact i am a big fan of their schnitzel. Stopped in here for a quick work meeting. Huge outdoor patio and lots of indoor seating of course. The service was quick and friendly. Our server made great suggestions. We tried the tatertots- they aren't what you're expecting, they're even better! We also had the ahi tuna & wontons. Also not accurately described on the menu BUT totally delicious! It's more of a play on nachos but way better. Crispy wonton chips with spicy mayo, ahi tuna, and other wonderful flavors. Finally, we had another table favorite- the cauliflower wings!! Many items were sold out for dinner. We tried the tater tots, but they were a little too mashed-potatoey for me. The Spice of Life margarita left a little to be desired (had a college-jungle juice taste to it). We got stuck in a dark corner with large signs covering the windows. One of the TV's was off in this corner as well. I think the corner could be brightened up by removing these signs. Ate there three weeks ago and had exceptional service with our waitress. Personable and went above and beyond waitressing, left her a 40% tip! Went back last week at 1:30 PM for lunch and had absolutely awful service. The bartender was in a terrible mood, couldn't smile to save his life, and was extremely rude. As we left and got in the car we said we probably would never return because of his horrible disposition and rudeness. We treated him very well, but it was obvious that Nate did not want to be there. read more

We had spicy buffalo, Korean bbq, and honey bourbon. We couldn't decide which was better. The ramen was to die for! I added steak and pork belly.
