The technique she introduces to the dog owner, Amichien Bonding, is less of a "training method" and more of a philosophy. If you're looking for someone to come in and show you how to dominate your dog and make him/her do what you want them to do, not only should you read Jan Fennel's book, but perhaps you should re-evaluate why you have a dog in the first place. Dogs are a creature to be respected and understood, both of which Rebecca will peacefully guide you through. It is important to understand what Amichien Bonding is, and also Rebecca's goal with her service. First, Amichien Bonding is not dog "training" in the traditional sense. Amichien Bonding is almost literally a translation for the dog language. How do you know you're communicating with a dog that can not speak human tongue? Through results. When I first met Rebecca my coworkers and I were dealing with dogs that had behavioral issues far beyond barking at the mailman, and peeing on the couch. The success I found from working with Rebecca and using Amichien Bonding is truly astronomical. To see a dog that would lick their own paw raw out of stress be able to sleep calmly in the middle of the day is really an amazing sight. It is safe to say that quite a few dogs would not be alive today if it wasn't for her and Amichien Bonding. Secondly, Rebecca's goal is not to come in and "fix" your dog. Her service is for you, the dog owner, to understand your dog from their point of view. The consultation is for Rebecca to begin teaching you about this philosophy and how to implement it in your home. Her goal is not to come in and proclaim dominance over you and your dog (as many other trainers look to do), but to teach you the way of the dog's language. Her service is offered in a fitting format: the first consultation is to meet, begin the conversation with your dog, and find out how to fit Amichien Bonding into your lifestyle. Then, if one has an open mind and patience, there should not be much more necessary from Rebecca beyond the occasional phone call. There does not exist a more peaceful and brilliant person that works with dogs in Vermont, hands down.

They provided shampoo and conditioner, apron, brushes, treats, towels, cologne, and leash loops on the floor and in the tub. There was also a big dryer with multiple attachments. The front desk employee was friendly and enthusiastic about showing me how to use everything. This was $15 per 20-min slot. I ended up paying $45 for an hour and a half (it took me 1 hr to blow dry my doodle). It was my first time ever grooming the pup on my own as a doodle can be very labor intensive, but Sit Pretty made it very easy for me to do it and helped me out every time I had a question.

Some vets treat FIV like a death sentence and won't give these cats the time of day, but everyone at AC treats our little ones like beloved royalty. I've never felt pressured to do something I couldn't afford.
