**Extremely Disappointed and Concerned About Safety Practices** I had taken my 9-month-old Rottweiler to The Dog Club for several months, trusting that he was in a safe and professionally managed environment. Unfortunately, I later learned that the owner had knowingly allowed a highly reactive--borderline aggressive--Sheltie to interact with the general dog population for over two years. I first became aware of this dog's unstable behavior during a Saturday class led by one of the trainers, and I had hoped the situation was being responsibly managed. It was not. Eventually, I received a call notifying me that my pup had been involved in an "altercation." What actually happened was far more serious. The aggressive Sheltie had lunged at another dog, rebounded into my Rottie, and when my dog tried to set a boundary, the Sheltie escalated. My dog was left traumatized and had visible scabs on his neck after the encounter. As is often the case, the larger dog was unfairly blamed. The fact that this Sheltie had a long history of reactivity--and was still being allowed to roam freely among other dogs--is completely unacceptable. Using the general dog population as a "buffer" for this Sheltie's behavior was reckless and dangerous. Most reputable daycares would never allow this dog to remain in group settings, let alone for two years. To make matters worse, when I met with the owner to express my concerns, she took absolutely no accountability. Her proposed "solution" was to isolate my Rottie behind a gated area where he could watch other dogs play, while staff would spend one hour a day with him--an arrangement she admitted was also being used for the Sheltie. In other words, my well-adjusted, social dog was being punished for defending himself against an unstable dog who should never have been in group play in the first place. The Dog Club failed my dog, and I would strongly caution other dog owners--especially those with large breeds--to think twice before trusting this facility with their pets' well-being. The owner herself even stated that her staff cannot handle my Rottie as he is "too Strong". That should probably be put in her advertisement then! read more

I have taken my dogs here for a few years, both for boarding and daycare. The staff has always been nice, and I fully trusted them to care for my dogs. Recently I took them in, and when the webcams came on, I saw that one of my my dogs had an extra collar on. I called to make sure it wasn't a shock collar, and was assured multiple times that the collar was not capable if shocking, it only beeps or vibrates. I was also told the collar would only be on her for short periods of time. I was watching the cam extra, to make sure my dog was not reacting badly to the collar, and saw the video attached. My dog (white/red on right hand side) was just standing there, no bark or anything, and obviously the collar either shocked or vibrated. My dog goes spinning out of view, and is still losing it a bit when she comes back in view. The employee takes the collar off and puts it back on a few seconds later. I called immediately and this time the owner answered. I let her know I was on my way to get my dogs and told her to have the collar taken off immediately. She asked what kind of collar my dog had on, and I told her it looks like a shock collar and asked if they use them. AGAIN I was told, this time by the owner, they don't use shock collars, they only vibrate. When I got there to pick up my dogs, she stated that what I saw online was just the first time the collar had vibrated (this was at 1:00, and she had been wearing it since at least 10 am when the cameras turn on) and that's why she had a strong reaction. When I asked to see one of the collars, they finally admitted the collars do have the capability to shock, they just "don't use that function" the lead trainer came down and tried to explain that they had taken the collar off multiple times, but had to put it back on again. Unfortunately, I know this not to be true. The only time they took that collar off was to adjust it. He admitted the collar was put on shortly after they got there, which was somewhere around 8 am. Whether the collar shocked my dog, or just vibrated, I know that the owner, lead trainer, and the lady that is usually at the front desk, all lied to me, and they used an e-collar without letting me know, didn't remove it when my dog had a strong reaction to it, and they used it in a manner that is outside their own policy, as the owner herself told me they should only be on for short periods. This situation would have been easily solved with a little honesty during my first call. Unfortunately, my dogs won't be returning, and I would never again reccomend this business for anyone who needs trustworthy care for their dogs. read more

I utilize the dog club for grooming of my 14-year-old Welsh terrier. They were responsive to her needs, gentle, kind and highly trained in the art of bathing and grooming pets. The facility was clean and the staff members lovely. Being a half year resident of Montana it is at times difficult to find professional care for your pets. I highly recommend the dog club if you were looking for care to your pet or someone competent to watch them while you're working. read more

My partner and I have been bringing our 7month old lab here for probably a month and half now and we absolutely love this place, and Annie does too. There was a little communication breakdown on our first trip that had us a little upset but when we explained the situation, management more than made it up to us. We love watching the little dog cams and the staff is very fun and eclectic and they seem to really care for the animals. We were so fortunate to come across this place. We traveled to Glacier in our RV and needed a place for our pups to stay while we were visiting the park. We were staying in a West Glacier campground and the owner, Suzanne, made the trip up to retrieve our beloved pups. She was so warm and friendly. The care went above and beyond my expectations. She kept me updated on how they were doing. When I picked them up on our way home I was impressed with the amenities. The facility was very clean and smelled fresh. Suzanne genuinely loves all the dogs in her care. She has an awesome staff. It was so nice to have peace of mind that our pups were well cared for. We would definitely return. My Great Pyrenees needed a grooming really bad. It was my first time booking an appointment for him. The dog club was very accommodating, they got me In Within a week. We used the Dog Club twice so we could get our hike on in the National park. I couldn't fault them. They were really patient with my two dogs - both of which are nervous dogs. We got great feedback from them and you can view your dogs during the day on their live cam. Both pups seemed really settled when I picked them up and slept well after their day. Having moved to Kalispell just recently, I left behind all my dogsitter contacts. After 6 unsuccessful attempts with Rover.com, I went to The Dog Club as Plan B. I am so thankful that I made that decision !! Not only is my dog well taken care of, they have enrichment/training sessions to get his brain working !! AND, as an added bonus, the sessions are videotaped and sent so you can watch the entire session !! The cost is very reasonable and now I don't have to worry about leaving my.dog.with a stranger when I go out of town. Amazing People, Amazing Care! I highly recommend The Dog Club. Every employee there is dedicated and passionate about our furry babies and their responsibility to care for them. We were passing through town and needed doggie day care for one day. Susanne, the owner, and her staff were incredibly attentive, accommodating, professional, and most importantly made our furry baby, Karma (an 85 pound 3-year old Airedale) their priority. Karma's meet-and-greet was done with utmost care and concern for not only Karma but all the other canine's being cared for that day. Our plans changed and they were very flexible, even offered to pick up Karma in the morning for a small fee that was very reasonable. Even though the meet/greet went well I was a bit nervous leaving her. When I called in later that morning, the staff gave me a thorough update on her status. I appreciated the straightforward honesty of which karma was doing OK it just took her a while to settle in. The staff said they were working with her to find the most appropriate dogs for her to play with and did some puzzles with her to get her to relax. When we picked Karma up in the afternoon she was very happy. read more

We boarded our Boston Terrier and Italian Greyhound here this summer while visiting Glacier. The park consumed so much of our time we did not want to leave the dogs in a cabin all day. This place was a godsend. Everyone here was great from the staff to the owners. Our dogs had a spectacular time for the 4 days we left them. If you are visiting the area and travel with your dogs this is the only place you need to look. read more

I brought our German Shepherd pup here on advice of our Vet. I was immediately impressed! The ladies up front ( Robbi and mykayla ) we're so excited to meet our guy. We received a tour and loads of information from mykayla (sp?) and both ladies were so upbeat and knowledgeable. I was also happy to see that they have webcams set up so you can tap in and see how your baby is doing that day. Which makes it less stressful for us new pup moms I left my boy there for 4 hours to play, when my son I arrived to pick him up the ladies were just as happy to see us and Mykayla even showed us photos that she had taken of our guy while he was there, which to me sealed the deal that we would be returning. You know someone loves your pup if they are taking photos! Today my 5 month old pup is still wiped from his grand adventure at WYDC. Left our dog here a couple of days while we were up visiting Glacier. These are great people and the space is huge. There is lots of room for the dogs to run. I loved how they just let the dogs be around them behind the counter. When we picked our dog up, he was just hanging out with them and a few other dogs right there. The really seem to just love dogs. Our pup, Sitka has visited "Puppy PlayCare" at Walk Your Dog Club since it was safe to be around other dogs after his puppy shots. He LOVES going! He gets socialization with other pup friends, loving care of people, and comes home exhausted! I took my dog here for over a year. There were times when I questioned the supervision but my pup tended to really enjoy his time there. Then I started seeing some different behavior and I was reassured that "it's not a big deal". However, I recently was told by the owner that they used a "vibration" collar on my pup for a week without telling me. When I saw the collar I knew it was a shock collar. Some staff admitted it was a shock collar while others told me "the batteries are usually dead anyway" when I directly asked if it was a shock collar. Shock collars work only when the dog knows the aversive stimulus (I.e. The shock). Therefore, I know that this was used on him. I finally saw the manual. It was, in fact, a shock collar. Just know that if you take your pup here they may use something without your permission and will not be honest about it. read more

My husband and I were staying near Glacier National Park and wanted to do some hiking and rafting in the park, so we day boarded our dog here. They were great! When we came to pick up our pooch, she was clearly very happy. She was also tired from all the playing!! They came and picked her up from where we were staying too, which was a huge help, and were very flexible with last minute changes. This is a great place for doggy daycare, exercising your dog, or socializing with other dogs. My dog is a small senior, we moved here in Jan from a much drier climate so the snow has been tough to adjust to. I send my dog there everyday while I am at work as their hours and prices are reasonable and for half days that I am not so that he gets some extra socialization during the winter. They are very kind to him and really love dogs. I also had him groomed there and their groomer did an excellent job with him. If you plan to frequent this place get the punch card. read more
