My older grandson had a bacon burger without cheese and he ate every bit of his as well and he said it was good. He didn't care for the fries but I did, I actually liked the fries better than the onion rings. So I ended up eating his fries. It ended up working out well for us because they were hungry after our morning at the aquarium and they wanted different things to eat and we were able to make everybody happy. The one-man mobile restaurant has become a staple of mine for every Reds game. All beef Nathan's hot dogs are the big seller with recent additions to the menu such as "mets" and the occasional bratwurst. He stocks a variety of toppings and condiments including ketchup, mustard, Cleveland's own stadium mustard, cheese, onions, and jalapenos to name a few. To wash down the delicious dogs, a choice of gatorade, water, or common canned pop products like mountain dew, coke, and pepsi can also be purchased. The prices are fair and definitely better than inside the stadium. At $3 a dog or 2 for $5 and pop or water for a buck, Drew's hot dog cart is a must-stop before venturing into GABP. This displaced Clevelander has become an avid Reds fan and is evident by his devotion to his work and extensive collection of bobblehead dolls on display. If you want an inexpensive meal with the "New York City vendor" feel, stop by and pick up a dog or two.

The food was tasty and very filling. Service was fast and friendly. The decor was very authentic, they absolutely have gone to great lengths to capture the German look and feel of the place. I'm not up in Newport very often, but I definitely will be back and try some more of the menu. He ordered a pretzel for his starter which he gave a thumbs up. He described it as having a fermented sourdough taste which he really enjoyed. His main meal was a Hofbrauhaus Hot Brown which he described as very rich and dense definitely filling. I tried his dish and was very confused by the mix of flavors. I ordered the Rueben balls which I thought were nicely crisp on the outside but overly soft on the inside but it did taste very nice with the dip provided. I decided on the Munich Sampler which came with 2 sausages, a crispy fired pork chop with potatoes and sauerkraut. The pork chop was overcooked and dry although smothered with a mushroom gravy. The sausages were tasty but nothing special. Both sides were so heavily seasoned with vinegar I could not get through them. My husband even thought the sauerkraut tasted too vinegary but he loved the potatoes, polishing off what I had left on the plate. The service was great; prompt and polite. I would say if you like German cuisine this is the place for you! Quite authentic flavors. Just not my favorite.
