The Dog's Den does an excellent job of grooming all breeds of dogs. I have an English Cocker and they give her a show cut. My sweet old Golden runs to the door to get in and comes out looking like a handsome Golden retreiver should instead of the salty dog he is. Both od my dogs enjoy hanging out with the menagerie of pooches that roam free in the grooming area . The owner's Long hair German Shepard tosses a tennis ball over the counter to welcome everyone. The shop is clean and bright and the groomers friendly, accomodating and experienced. Their prices are on target with most other places except that they do a much better job than anyone else I have ever taken my many dogs to over the years. They did a very good job, and when I picked up my dog, he was more relaxed than normal. Generally he drags me out of a groomer and runs to the car. This time, he was not in that much of a hurry. My dog was there for three hours, and they made an effort to groom him quickly. I will say that they charged me $120 for my older 90lb dog, which is about $30 more than I expected (I normally pay $80 but was once quoted $100 by someone but didn't do it), and so I don't expect to go back. He had a lot of undergrowth, but he always did on every previous grooming also. I am not going to remove a star for that, as there is a wide range of prices for human groomers also, and so I am only rating the service and not the price. I have been bringing all my babies to The Dog's Den since their inception. I'd follow them wherever they go. Lea, Meghan and the rest of the crew go above and beyond their call of duty. I never am anxious bringing them there. (I'm over protective)! The grooming done there is unsurpassible and quick. They are THE BEST OF THE BEST. The dog's are actually happy to go there. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everyone and everything about The Dog's Den! Our lab also looks forward to going- whether for grooming (which is always perfect!) or daycare (which he LOVES and we LOVE!) The Dog's Den has been a lifesaver for us. We adopted our dog less than a year ago and soon realized that she had some anxiety. We looked into daycare for her but most places couldn't accept her because she also has some health issues. The Dog's Den graciously accepted her and she is thriving. We know that we can feel at ease knowing she is in good hands when we are at work. The people that work there are amazing. They love what they do and it shows. I am so grateful to have found them. You can't get better service and a better grooming than with the ladies at The Dog's Den. My dog (sheepdog) gets the best cut he has ever had and he comes home happy and beautiful. The dogs are not in cages all day waiting their turn. Casey can't wait to get in the door when we arrive ! The Day Care is excellent as well and you do not have to make a commitment for a certain number of days. Casey is always happy when he goes for his day of pampering. The Dogs' Den always gives my two cockapoos the BEST haircuts! I have never been disappointed. The staff is kind and do not make me feel bad when I bring them in looking a little (or a lot) overdue for grooming. We love The Dog's Den. We have a Wheaten Terrier (or terror as we call him) and he has a great time. Leah and her team have given him some great cuts and he loves being with the other dogs. What a great grooming experience!
