Not the same old donut hole. New owner, great attitude, she's giving donuts away for the price she's charging. I told her not charging enough, $4 for 3 donuts. I looked at the menu and it was bright and new, with lo prices, couldn't believe how low they were. Go by and try some of her delicious donuts and save money in these troubled times right now. We love these donuts. I first came in after lunch around 2pm and was amazed, first that they were still open and also that the donuts still tasted fresh. There isn't a large variety of donuts, but what they serve are soft, fairly dense, but not at all greasy. Just yummy donut deliciousness. Only thing we have not cared for is the donut holes, which, unfortunately are our favorite. They only offer glazed and they don't make many - you have to get in early to get any. But, that's ok, because they aren't as good as the regular glazed donuts, weird. The inside is clean, not too big a space, so mornings between 7 - 8am, it can be pretty busy. You might encounter a homeless person outside, but you'll be fine. It's also near a busy Starbucks (at Divisadero and U, but really, across the street), so you can grab coffee nearby too. Service is fast and efficient, but not warm or friendly. This is sort of minor, but that with the disappointing donut holes is four stars not five. When I went back in the lady told me I must be use to day old donuts and that theirs are soft and fresh. Yes they might be fresh but a little too fresh. This place is located towards downtown Fresno, which is pretty close to where I work. I always stop by but never checked in on YELP until this morning. Every time I stop by for a dozen of their donuts, I have never gotten an acknowledgement from anyone that works inside there, geez I know it's early but at least a smile gosh... but when someone else walks in after me the owner came out and said "good morning!" The owners are positively delightful and their products are far superior to any I have tried. Our staff looks forward to 'Donut Wednesdays'. First of all the donuts are made fresh daily. They run out real quick and that probably has something to with their early closings. Seriously, they are never ever open past 2pm. My husband and I were staying down the street from the Donut Hole and decided to give it a try on our way to Sequoia National Park. We were blown away! We ordered a chocolate long john, blueberry, and sour cream donut. The glaze on the blueberry and sour cream donuts was slightly crispier on the outside and and light and fluffy on the inside. Worst customer service in Fresno. I am a regular at the Donut Hole. Most of the time she is on her Bluetooth talking to someone. You can tell she hates her life. Pretty nice donut shop right at two major cross-streets. The donuts increase my blood sugar just the way I want them to. The only thing is that one of the ladies has a very strong accent that'd confused me as to what she was trying to say, but that doesn't hurt anybody and I still get my donut/she gets her money. So, I recently moved to this area and have had my eye on this place. It never seemed to be open when I would stop by. Finally, my hubby saw they were open and called me up for my order. I got an apple fritter and donut holes, he got two different donuts himself. I have to say, I was NOT impressed. The donut holes were not even fully covered in glaze, and actually didn't taste like donuts. The Apple fritter had a good taste but it was so so chewy, like it had been sitting out for days. Came here on a Wednesday morning around 10:00am because my sister had been craving krispy kreme donuts for the past week and we hadn't gotten around to getting some. I had just moved in town the day prior and promised my sister I'd get her some donuts after I did some morning errands. I drove over and this place is located right off the freeway on the corner of a very ghetto/shady looking strip mall if you can even call that. I felt uneasy turning in the parking lot but there was no turning back. My sister would be disappointed if I did not return with donuts. It's a no frills donut shop as most are and there was an Asian lady at the counter ready to help me. I got two of the original glazed since those were championed in previous reviews. I got two of the...wait a minute...are my eyes deceiving me...no they're not...BLUEBERRY DONUTS :0 Why am I making such a big deal about blueberry donuts? Well ever since I paid a visit to the birthplace of heavenly blueberry donuts aka M&M donuts in SoCal, I've been kinda obsessed with trying renditions of blueberry donuts from various donut shops to compare. Often imitated but never duplicated exactly, M&M blueberry donuts are what you get if krispy kreme donuts and blueberry muffins had a lovechild that hopped out of the deep fryer fresh into a cardboard pizza box for you to take home. So I had to try the blueberry donuts here. I was bummed they didn't have any chocolate donuts (ran out by 10 in the morning??) so I had to take off a star for that. My sister loves chocolate donuts so I had to get something. Settled with two chocolate-looking cake donuts. The original glazed ones were great! I don't eat donuts much anymore since I'm trying to watch my calories but these were sure worth the calorie addition for the day. Not quite like krispy kreme but they were definitely fluffy and delicious. The blueberry donuts were surprisingly decent. A little too sugary for my preference but these were my second favorite next to the original glazed. I was disappointed in the cake donuts and my sister wasn't a fan of these either. They were very dense and did not offer anything special than a regular donut with the same glaze. I'll be making a return trip so I can have my bf who's moving here soon try the blueberry donuts since I've dragged him along on my previous donut excursions. Maybe next time I can try the chocolate donut which I'm sure my sister and I would have liked. So three stars for the delicious original glazed donuts and another star for having blueberry donuts here! Now waiting for cronuts to make its way to Fresno...maybe next year? hahaha read more

All I can say is WOWZERZ! This has got to be the BEST donut shop in town IMO and BELIEVE ME when I say so. I have been to countless of donut shops here in Fresno/Clovis and nothing can beat the freshness and sweetness of their donuts. All of their donuts are SOFT, MOIST, and FLUFFY on the inside and Crispy on the outside, just how I like it. The donut prices are very cheap and delicious. Why did I not find this place much sooner??? The lady that works there is very sweet just like their donuts ;). The shop is pretty close from freeway junctions between 180 to 41. Rude and they steal your money. The lady had me slide my debit card twice. She printed a receipt, looked at it like she was confused then set it aside. The pin pad said my card was accepted but she said it was declined. I asked her to confirm that it was not accepted and she still said no, it was declined. I ended up using a credit card only to find out the same amount was charged on both debit and credit card. I called the store and she rudely told me she was busy and would send the money back and hung up on me. I still haven't gotten the refund on my card and had to start a claim with my bank. Maybe this was intentional, maybe it wasn't. But if it wasn't she sure needs to learn how to use the credit/debit card machine in her shop. read more

My husband and I stopped in one morning to grab a donut. This used to be a place we went to often when we were dating. I was happy to see that it was still there. Wish we'd just kept on driving.When we stepped in our presence was not even acknowledged-she was too busy talking on the phone. She didn't even stop long enough to ask us what we'd like until we practically made her-we kept asking questions. When she finally did -she looked at us like we were a major disruption to her conversation. She literally glared at us! When we got to the car I noticed that she'd put the Wrong donuts in the bag so I went back in. She said the donuts in the bag were what we asked for and that if I wanted something different I should have asked for it! Wow!! I have never been treated so rudely.
