every trip reminds me why it's worth the drive. My fiancé is gluten-free, and hands down, they make the best gluten-free donuts I've ever tried. Honestly, I prefer them over the regular ones. The rice flour they use gives each donut a perfectly crisp bite - if you're gluten-free, you'll be amazed. You do have to order the gluten free. They don't have them out. You have to ask and they make them then for you. Be patient! Service is always friendly and impressively fast, even when they're busy. Highly recommend checking them out.

Incredible, friendly service. They do a great job with the demand here. We come here for the amazing gluten free donut options; my son absolutely loves it too! My favorite is the tiramisu... yum!!!

OMG - Gluten free donuts!!! The chocolate frosted was decent size, slightly dense, and tasted almost like the real thing. They don't have them pre-made sitting in the case, they make them to order and it's worth the reasonable wait. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. The space is clean and bright. If you are GF, highly recommend this place.

Better donuts. Better ingredients. Donut kitchen. These are the best donuts in McKinney, and it's not close. These donuts are made with love and real ingredients that don't make you feel like you need probiotic after even if you eat 4 or 12 like me. Seriously, if you are going to go get donuts this is the place in McKinney. Even if you have to drive 15 minutes out of the way, it's worth it. Each bite makes you speechless.

The donuts came out quickly a d were affordably priced. The cookie butter lotus donut I got was amazing and I think had coffee flavored filling. Delicious also not pictured I got a kolache which was great next time getting two of those. This place has been around awhile and always delivers with great service.

Today I got a Nutella cronut. A cronut is a cross between a donut and a croissant. The Nutella Cronut was flaky and delicious. The donuts here are unique and unlike donuts from any other donut shop.

They had an amazing selection of fun and colorful donuts along with the usual glazed and caked ones. Service was a little off/stiff but I'm ok with that as long as the donuts hit the spot. I would recommend if ones in the area!

The Donut Kitchen has a wonderful selection of gourmet donuts to suit every taste, as well as basic glazed. We chose the Texas sheet cake and the strawberry shortcake, both were over the top delicious!! We are new to the area and excited to have found this little gem!

Very cute clean shop. I got there early so no long lines. Very nice staff. A nice selection of classic and specialty flavors. Key lime is a blueberry cake doughnut base with a lime glaze and cream cheese frosting, tangy as you would expect key lime to be soft flavorful blueberry cake doughnut. Ordered a minion doughnut because it was just so cute.. soft cake doughnut with a warm fall spice mix.. they place raised doughnut holes in the box to help keep your doughnuts from moving and getting smashed up. Those were my favorite a very soft airy dough! Haven't eaten the last one yet think I will save it for lunch..

Popped in to sort out a sweet craving and I am glad I did. This store is nestled is the rolling hills near Stonebridge Ranch and the Adriatica. I loved blueberry key lime which had berries in it as well as the glaze and berry on top. Red velvet has a great cake texture and cream was light and airy. Finally the strawberry shortcake was to die for!! My wife enjoyed all three and the kids loved their glazed donuts. Price was $13 for 3 gourmet and 2 glazed which is about right. They also have smoothies, boba and breakfast sandwiches. We will be back with the kids to enjoy our donuts next time.

I found The Sandwich Spot on Yelp after searching for Dutch Crunch bread. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of fresh vegetables and warm, crusty bread--if happiness had a scent, this would be it! Their sandwich selection is impressive. I originally drove an hour (one-way!) just for the Dutch Crunch rolls. Then I walked in, got greeted with that heavenly smell and super friendly vibes, and there was no way I was leaving without a sandwich. I went with the BLT, and let me tell you: it was loaded with crispy bacon and absolutely delicious. The place is spotless, including the restroom, and the customer service is top-notch. I called ahead to check on the Dutch Crunch rolls, and you could literally hear the smile through the phone. Jeff is fantastic, and the entire team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative--thanking me multiple times for stopping by. I highly recommend The Sandwich Spot. I'd will be making the drive again and again for the food and the friendly service.

At a minimum, I expect it to have at least as much filling as Jersey Mike's sandwiches. It certainly doesn't. Additionally, Jersey Mike's makes a better sandwich. They just do. Bottom line: very nice people are running this place without question. However, I likely won't return. It's just not worth the significant premium they charge for their sandwiches, when you can go to Jersey Mike's, get a much bigger and better sandwich, for a much better price. The portion size was simply unacceptable for the price. I do wish them the best of luck, as they are clearly good people.

The cagliaritana had the PERFECT ratio of ingredients and the crunch on the pizza was unreal. Everything tasted and smelled insanely fresh. The Caesar was loaded with freshly shaved parm and somehow tasted way better than a Caesar salad has any right to. I think the croutons were also homemade? Perfect! The small three cheese pizza was also perfect -- great crust, great sauce-to-cheese ratio, and honestly the perfect size to split with someone alongside a salad. But the TNT panini?? Holy crap. The second you unwrap it, the smell of the garlicky focaccia hits you immediately. And the pink sauce was some of the best I've had. The tiramisu was also the perfect sweet ending to the meal. It wasn't overly sweet and soggy like most in this area. Cannot wait to try the cannolis! After years of searching for real Italian food, I finally feel like I found it. All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy. It's nice to see businesses doing business with local businesses. THE BAD: It's a small restaurant. Making a reservation (Open Table) is likely a good idea. We happened to find it at a slow moment on a Saturday morning. OVERALL: We're fans. I'd love to take our friends and family for lunch, or tell them about our new find. I am very displeased with the manner in which I ended up with what I "NOW" know was optional.... at an additional charge. Since the sandwich was basically a Thanksgiving meal on a bun, when the order taker/server asked if I wanted the gravy on the sandwich or on the side, and this being my first time to darken their door, I said, "on the side". My sandwich was a very reasonable $7.99. Ordered! Expect ill with tax to be $8.50-ish. NO.... $10.26. By the time it registered that something was amiss (by my thinking) she was wrapping up the order for me. I reminded her (I am sure she didn't have a clue about the story) of the mom and pop store that kept a hand broom by the register and on every order, they would automatically scan the broom. Most people never checked their receipt to know the difference and if they did it was chalked up to being an accident. That being said... I diligently searched the menu board for a side of gravy or an Asterix noting an extra charge for the gravy and it was not to be found... anywhere. She did not say anything acknowledging a problem from that side of the register. I wished her a happy New Year and left. I will be a repeat customer because the meal was great. But I should have had been told the gravy was extra. Now that I do know, I can't imagine NOT ordering the gravy. But it was a devious tactic to stick us with an extra charge that the person could kit show me on the board. Despite my rant, if you are a sandwich person, DO GO!

We've stuck to the standards, classic cheesesteaks with either hot or sweet peppers, or both. Once, my wife got the BLT, which was good at the time, but unsurprisingly, the lettuce and tomato don't keep well, and the portions always dictate leftovers for us, so we'll skip that next time. The bread on our sandwiches has been fresh and soft, with no off notes either texturally or taste/smell. The meat and cheese have been tender and well seasoned, and at a good ratio to the bread. The hot pepper can really lean towards the hot side; I almost feel like asking for a third hot and two thirds sweet. :) Bottom line, we've had three great experiences here and are glad to have this restaurant so close to our home. Hoping some of my fellow Yelpers just hit them on a bad day, but it really works for us!
