What made it extra special was that one of the ladies in the group had an automatic gratuity added to her order (20%) while the rest of us were given the option to choose our tip amount. Without explanation and no forewarning. Now normally I am very generous when it comes to tipping. I recognize the hard work that goes into serving customers but with the low level of service, i didn't feel 20% was deserving. I want to like this place, especially with the "new" management, but attentive service is the most important in the industry and really has an impact on customer experience. Hopefully Toley's can do better.
