Fish and chips served hot and crispy. Great fries. They offer malt vinegar; my favorite with fries.

Great fish and chips, ice cold beer, prompt, friendly service, reasonable prices. The seating offers pub height tables, regular tables, and bar seating.

The Angry Clover is your standard, run-of-the-mill bar in the suburbs. It has been through a lot in the last five years and the remodel has updated a lot of the previous problems. Food is still quite good as far as bar food goes. They have an array of food choices from American to Tex-Mex to Irish, as any good Irish pub does. I ordered the Club Sandwich during this visit, as I have in the past, and it was still tasty. Drinks are decent as well, but a bit pricey. They also offer deals online, so be sure to google search the place before going, so you can get some drink and tab deals. The Angry Clover has started to Saturday/Sunday brunches. The 2-for-1 deals look good as well. Place was clean and relatively quiet. Our server checked in with us several times as well. The renovations that were done have updated the bar, restrooms, dining tables, and pool table areas. The smelly, gross carpet has been removed! There is still a stage for music night, live Bingo, and other events as well.

Great bar with spacious seating, good service, and good food. From the multiple screens to their live music offerings, recommend giving this place a try! Love their wings, love the crisp and their various sauces, definitely has become one of my favorite places for wings now. Also huge bar so lots of options to choose from.

    Buffalo Chicken Wrap

The buffalo chicken wrap is phenomenal. The soft preztel is the best. I've been here many times and have never really been disappointed with the food except the "kids burger" is really just a slider which is big enough to feed a 3-7 year old depending on their appetite, but it's not a bad deal with the fries which are my favorite kind of fries.

Angry Clover has got the crazy deals. 2 for 1 drinks during happy hour. On Tuesday they have $1 beef tacos and $2 chicken tacos. On Wednesday a free beer with a burger entree. Definitely all you could ask for in a dive bar. It's a spot that the locals like to hang. Since this an Irish Pub hints the Clover in the name, we came here for St Patrick's Day. I got their corn beef and cabbage. It did the job! The cabbage was very tender and the corn beef was pretty flavorful. I have also gotten their fish and chips. I enjoyed it but it was nothing special. Their Taco Tuesday tacos are not very good but they are cheap so take that how it is. Besides their food and full bar they've got live music, pool tables, dart boards, and plenty of TVs to watch. Service is okay. It always seems like our waitress has 7 tables so if it gets busy it may take a while to order food or get your check. The one downside is that I don't get good service here. When I asked for the Wi-Fi the server did not know what the password was and said that the Wi-Fi isn't very good anyway. In summary: come here for the drink deals.

    Crumpled dirty menu

Our waitress was attentive, but it was quiet in the bar. Even though they have cleaned up the place with remodeling it is dirty (see pics). Menu had stains from I don't know what and the floor was still littered with trash. Drinks were strong (we ordered doubles). Angry Clover is more annoyed than angry.

I've been coming here since my 21st birthday??( let's just say it's been more than half of my life!) With that being said, I wanted to see what the fuss was about, at this newly remodeled - restaurant, formally known as *McCarthy's*. Im sure i speak on belhalf of most natives of the area... when I say, this place is the same. It just got a *facelift.* As much as I WANTED too say, "go in there!!" Or "You gotta check it out, ONCE!" but nahhhh...from the food to the atmosphere, its still the same neighborhood bar its been for over 30 years! Inside you will find new gray wood-like high tops and low tables, Brand new (and more) tvs for your sporting pleasure Oh ya! Remember the Pool Tables?? Too BAD!! They took them out which was a real bummer. I know they are still renovating? All in all... below avg. Bar food with good drinks.

Overall - I love the Irish spin on some of the food. Pros - You get a ton of food. - Great bartender! He made sure we saw the special and recommended it as well. - The ambiance was your typical bar. Cons - No gluten-free items or substitutions

Worst Guinness pour ever. No letting it rest halfway. First impression of an Irish themed restaurant and it was not good.

I went here solo expecting a decent sports bar experience. What I got was a string of small misses…read morethat added up to a pretty frustrating visit. The burger was $18 and honestly just average. Nothing about it justified the price. They advertise a "Baja sauce" as part of the burger, but when it came out there was barely any on it. I asked for more and got charged $0.50 for it. Same thing with ranch for the fries (not house-made), still charged extra, and they didn't even bring it out with the food after I asked for it when ordering. I had to remind them, and there was no apology, just a drop-off like it was no big deal. The fries portion was light, and overall the food just felt like corners were being cut while still charging full price. Soggy fries. Dried out burger. Service was inattentive across the board. When I asked for my last drink and the check, they forgot the check entirely. I sat there another 15 minutes waiting until I had to flag someone down again. That shouldn't happen, especially when it wasn't busy enough to justify it. The environment didn't help either. It's loud in a chaotic way, not just energetic sports bar loud, but TVs everywhere, kids running around, babies crying. On top of that, people were smoking right outside the entrance, so you walk straight through that to get in. One of the more frustrating parts: the metal chairs at the high tops scratched my $250 Patagonia jacket. Then to top it off, the blue pen they gave me to sign the check leaked ink all over my hand, which got on my jacket and car afterward. That's just careless. Only positives were that the beer and whiskey prices were reasonable, and the drinks themselves were fine. However, I took a risk with places like this because most likely they haven't cleaned their beer lines in years. Overall, this felt like a place that charges like it's better than it is, but cuts corners on both food and service. I won't be back. Not worth the $50+

The events here are quite entertaining and makes for a fun night out. Food and drinks as well as the service was hit and miss. The strawberry spritz was perfect for a warm springtime day and the grilled chicken sandwich was tasty and not too salty. Toley's has a somewhat limited menu but decent offerings. Service wasn't all that great. The staff were slow and it took nearly 45min before being able to order dinner. Not sure but possible a slight staff shortage as we weren't checked on nearly as often as we should have been. After our meals arrived, I had to track down a server for service settings, napkins and a request to refill our drinks.
