My family and I love the Dragon's Den! Mindy and Jake and the whole crew have managed to create a wonderful space for all types of people to come, feel welcomed, and get to know people you might not otherwise. The shop is so awesome! They have great drop in rates and affordable memberships for avid rpg players. A great place to go if you are into D&D, Warhammer but they are set up for any RPGs, tabletop board games, even card games. It's just the best place to be in the Coachella Valley!

This is a pretty big comic and anime figures store. Wouldn't have guessed it from the outside…read more They have comics, dvds, vhs tapes, vhs, tees posters and even Labubus! But those are pretty expensive. Between $80 and $100 for one Labubu, based on series. They are the real deal though. No Lafufus here lol. Aside from that theres just a lot of stuff. The employee at the counter was nice and chill. Answered any question I had. It was kind of dark in the back. It was well lit for the rest of the store though.

For a large, full comic book shop, I have nothing good to say about this place. It is very…read moreuninviting, I didn't see or hear any employee when I entered or while shopping. A simple hello goes a long way, but the only person who seemed to maybe work here was engrossed in his phone too much to even notice I was shopping. This store LOOKS well stocked, but it's almost entirely an illusion. It's mostly funko pops, which is fine, but they are dispersed throughout the store in a way that makes finding anything specific impossible. The rest of the figures are old peg warmers marked ilup significantly from msrp. Speaking of wildly crazy markups, the huge selection of back issues are marked "minimum of $3" regardless of the sticker price. The back issues are clearly a large collection of dollar bin books purchased, never sorted, and just flopped out onto the tables like raw meat. It is impossible to shop the back issues unless you have all day to sort through the completely and utterly random boxes. This store lacks any charm, or charisma and seems to be simply a way for the owners to price gouge dollar issues to people who don't know any better. Even the issues being sold at a premium are 3-4 dollars more expensive here than online. In addition, there is signage throughout the store that warns shoplifters that they will be sued for 100,000 dollars if they steal, which i understand is a deterrent for what is probably a real problem, but phrasing it like this reinforces the fact that this place is only looking for an extra buck on goods that are not worth the price, nor effort to steal. If they would actually expend a modicum of effort to clean up the back issues, and break away from the cycle of price gouging comics to kids in the mall, they'd have a decent location and stock, but in the state it is in now, you're better off going to a swap meet.

Popped in here to look for some back issues for my husband. While there are tons of back issues in…read morelong boxes, they are very unorganized and inaccessible. Boxes are labeled but don't seem to be in any logical order and there were a bunch of boxes we couldn't even look at because they were underneath a plastic table cloth with stuff on top of them. Also, there was a boxes Funko Pop on the shelf. I went to grab it to ask my husband if it was one he needed for his collection and I was told to be careful because it wasn't for sale. Alright. Maybe that needs to be on a shelf behind the counter then. Or there needs to be a sign on that shelf that says nothing on it is for sale. Alas. Could be a nice source for back issues if they were organized and accessible.

When I came in, what I assume to be one employee was sitting on a couch watching soccer on the tv. The other didn't look up from behind the counter to say hello or anything. I wish I could say I shopped around for a while, but there is little organization, and back issues just seem to be randomly in different places. I left without buying anything when the employee snapped at my wife when she picked up an item, that the employee said wasn't for sale. Sorry, but don't put it on the sales floor then, or at least clearly mark it. Not a stretch to assume that the comic book merchandise in the comic book shop is for sale. If it isn't why do you have it out? The attitude and tone of the employees was not inviting, and borderline rude.

The parking was easy and the store was clean. Good first impression. Now, I don't always understand…read morethe reason a store is organized the way it is, and I understand they want everyone to wander the store. This store is rather confusing, since it feels as if partial departments are throughout the store. I did not find what I needed, but in the clearance area, I did find some fun things. The prices were more "on sale" than clearance, but the price felt fair. In the sales floor, I didn't find anyone that could help, but at the register a very nice guy helped me. They have a self checkout line, unless you pay with cash. They are not set up to accept cash in the self checkout line. So, the place seems good and I will probably go again. It's worth checking out.

Does Michael's not believe in hiring anyone? How greedy can a company be? I will not be returning to this or any other Michaels. I asked the self check out employee where decorative rocks were and he told me aisle 13 or 14. I went, nothing. Returned to tell him they were not there and he said "They are on the end." I said the end cap is different than telling someone aisle 13 or 14. I go, NOTHING! What are you doing for the money you make there? Obviously you don't know your store. This place is a joke!
