Popped in here to look for some back issues for my husband. While there are tons of back issues in…read morelong boxes, they are very unorganized and inaccessible. Boxes are labeled but don't seem to be in any logical order and there were a bunch of boxes we couldn't even look at because they were underneath a plastic table cloth with stuff on top of them. Also, there was a boxes Funko Pop on the shelf. I went to grab it to ask my husband if it was one he needed for his collection and I was told to be careful because it wasn't for sale. Alright. Maybe that needs to be on a shelf behind the counter then. Or there needs to be a sign on that shelf that says nothing on it is for sale. Alas. Could be a nice source for back issues if they were organized and accessible.

Up front is random games and comics. It's nice looking for what was once a sort of army paraphernalia room of an antique store. Now more of a Starbase like its name. In the back they have tables to play card or board games. They have a big selection of snacks and drinks to fill you up when gaming. Service was friendly and was ready to answer any question.

So many different booths, or the variety of everything on top of that I thought I was done, and then they told me there was another connected mall across the hallway. I told him what I'm always on the lookout for and, sure enough, he knew which booth may have had it. Close, but still not THE ONE I hope to find, but very nice of him to personally help. This place is HUGE, but really crowded vendor booths, selling lots of different art, collectibles and memorabilia. Hubs found a couple of booths with well stocked, easy to search comic books, so he was happy. I found lots of beautiful pieces of MCM glass, but still not THE piece that I know will make my heart happy. A Fiesta dinnerware collectors dream! Many pieces here at prices similar to what I've seen elsewhere. A LOT of cool lamps, chandeliers and other types of lighting fixtures, including some 50s Moss lamps that feature a spinning element on the base. In all my years of "antiquing" this is the first I've seen in a booth. Very interesting. Some booths had sales posted, but it seems one booth in particular had items we collect priced MUUUUCH higher than they're worth, maybe to still get the price they want after "discount." Hmmm.... This store really insists you look EVERYWHERE! So many items hanging from the ceiling or stacked up high. Some booths looked like they came straight outta someone's home from an estate sale. We managed to make it through the whole shop in about an hour, but not without a few dizzying turns. This may not be the best place for very young shoppers that like to touch everything. Reminds me of my mom telling us 'Lead arms, glued to your sides!' when we would have to pass through the fine China and crystal department at Bullock's. He delighted in showing us pieces from his collection and took real joy in sharing what makes certain comics special. You can tell this isn't just inventory to him; it's art, history, and craft. The shop itself is fantastic: a carefully curated selection of high-quality comics, a great assortment of Pokémon cards, and even a space dedicated to in-person gaming. He also has customized merchandise, things like unique pins and plushes, that you won't find anywhere else and that really reflect his love for the medium. What really stood out, though, was how warm and generous he was. He even gave my son two pins which he promptly affixed to his hat. If you love comics, collectibles, or just supporting passionate, thoughtful small business owners, do yourself a favor and stop by. This place is something special.

I see repeat customers here frequently because they appreciate the selection and service and want to patronize good, local businesses.

I spoke with both Andrea and Alex, who were wonderful, extremely professional, and patient. They walked me through the process and had the poster ready for pickup in 2.5 hours!!!!!! I had called other companies but none were able to move so quickly. The poster was EXACTLY what I needed, super high quality, neatly executed. The image was clear, true to color, and the surface and edges were perfectly smooth. The price was reasonable and competitive, with no rush charge! Maybe I caught them at the right moment, but having my poster ready so incredibly rapidly was a total lifesaver, allowing me to give a more complete presentation. I wish there were more companies like this, with great products and humane customer service. I will definitely use their services in the future but try to give them more advance notice!!
