Oh my goodness! I moved to Ukiah just a little over a year ago, and discovering this place is where I got introduced to the whole metaphysical and crystal world! I've never turned back since, and it has been such an enriching journey! I absolutely love it here and throughout all the time I've known the place the staff is always so kind, engaging and helpful, and the atmosphere within the store is so welcoming, special, and unlike any other! There is such a variety of things to find, from beautiful tumbled crystals, to candles set specially with intention, handmade journals, suncatchers, elegant clothing and tapestries, and a WONDERFUL incense collection, complete with an array of special scents you may not find anywhere else, among so much more! I love it here and have enjoyed visiting ever since I moved to this town, and will continue to come and relish in the great energy of this store! Totally recommend to all who come across this area! People, please call in the yuppy police, I fear I am turning into a hippy! I need SAKS stat and probably an injection of botox or something, has anyone seen my bra? I seem to have forgotten it, AGAIN. Look, in my younger years I never would have even ventured into this place, but now I am finding a strange attraction for, well, smelly hippy candles and stained glass. I know, I know, my Chanel pumps are having a breakdown as we speak. However, I must point out to the savvy shopper that I found some SPECTACULARLY insane bedside tables at this little store this weekend. Girl, you know it's true! Two, hand painted, wrought iron swinging door little cute-to-die-for bedside tables for very very cheap. As I am a professional shopper (aka addicted to shopping, is there an 800 number for this, please someone help me, take my credit cards...NOW) I am very aware of the appropriate price point for household items and these were severely underpriced. In the City they would have been at least half a billion dollars more. So my advice is if you happen to be in the area, say making a pit stop before heading off to Mendo wineries hit this little place up. They actually have some beautiful wood carved chests for CHEAP and, again, these lovely hand painted furniture items for the home. Say hi to Raven, she owns the store and is a Peach! Dragon's Lair is AWESOME. I only get there about once every 6 months. So for me all of the merchandise is always different. The prices are wonderful , the staff is super friendly. I can always find something to come home with. My husband even enjoys going into this store with me. Your jewelry is great as is the selection. I'm so disappointed and embarrassed of this store. My mom lives in Illinois and every time she visits she expressed desire to shop here, unfortunately we never got around to it. She FINALLY made it in on 12/11/19 and was immediately met with disdain. One employee motioned for the other to follow my mom around as if she were going to rob the place! My mom felt horrible and walked out, and she was so upset because she spotted a couple things she would have purchased there. So much for shopping local, total disappointment. read more

This interesting little specialty shop has a great variety of knickknacks and gifts to furnish a home so it feels unique. The tagging on the items makes it look like they do consignment for a number of local artists. I'm glad there's a place like this. Customer service was weak during my visit, though. It was a repeated struggle to get the one employee's attention despite the fact that business was kinda slow during my visit. Come to think of it, I had the same problem with a few other local merchants in Ukiah.... I wonder if people in this town are cold toward outsiders. I live in Ukiah and shop pretty much in Ukiah, but this store amazes me every time i walk into it. The customers that come in are all different in their own unique ways,the service is outstanding and the the selection of goods are absolutely mind blowing, I love looking at the jewelry the most but enjoy browsing all other products like candles,incense, statues of dragons', fairies and so much more! They have books,art pieces and even puppets for children. You can not go wrong stopping at this store even if just to browse the many things that they have and all are gorgeous in their own way!! I plan on making a trip there today to see if they are open so i can pick up a last minute gift.
