I found a brooch of a Viking long ship, bought it from Scotland, took it to Katie and asked her to make me a pendant. She also recommended a sturdy chain. It was perfect! For us, it was 'refreshing' to see a new replacement to the store we had known to occupy this particular location during past several trips, so we were both anxious and curious to stop in and check it out. The store was clean and tidy, the offerings very neatly set up and arranged. Once in, and walking about the shop, it soon became apparent, that what was being sold were quality, gifts and souvenirs. Some of the clothing offerings (name jackets, sweaters, and such), sure caught my attention. The service provided at the time was friendly and very helpful. Yeah! .. a fine addition to Harrison, and to this small, centrally-located Plaza of shops. Hopefully, we'll get back to Harrison before winter sets in, and be able to check out those jackets, and other offerings once again, when the outside temperature is more tempting to the cause!

The mountain has special meaning and is really important to both her and my whole family. The photo on the left is the design I sent them, the photo on the right is the job they did. It looks absolutely horrible and absolutely nothing like what I asked for. When I told them I was not happy with what they did, they refused to do anything about it. They won't return my money, they wont give me a new blank necklace so I can take it somewhere else to get it engraved properly. They can't buff it out because the necklace is already so thin and the lines they carved into it are so deep. Not only did this cost me close to $500 and I had to save up money for this special gift, I now don't have her Christmas gift ready in time due to this abysmal job. I can't give this horrible work to her, it looks like a toddler did it. The design is crooked, the lines have mistakes and there are random marks all over it. It's just so bad. I probably could have done a better job honestly. I spent over 40 minutes in store after receiving it, asking for them to give me my money back or give me a new necklace. I spoke directly to the owner. They kept arguing and refusing to give me a refund, even going so far to insult me as to try to sell me another necklace they had for 50% off. I was actually crying from the way they were talking to me. This is disgusting to do to a family at Christmas time. I will provide an update if the business resolves this issue but buyer beware. They will take your money, do a pathetic job and do nothing about it.

I recently had a frustrating experience here that left much to be desired. Customer Service: Despite there being four employees working, not one of them acknowledged our presence when we walked in. We had to actively seek out help multiple times, which is not what I expected from a store that should prioritize customer service. When we finally did receive assistance, the employees seemed more interested in having a family chat among themselves than in helping us find the right shoes. We had to ask over and over again for different sizes - and when someone finally came - they simply dropped the shoes on the floor. Overall Experience: The combination of poor customer service and a disorganized store environment made for a frustrating shopping experience. I was disappointed by the staff's lack of attentiveness and the overall lack of effort to assist us in our search for shoes. I have spent a lot of money here over the years...no more! With so many other shoe stores out there that offer better service and a more welcoming atmosphere, I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future. It's unfortunate that such a basic aspect of retail--providing decent customer service--was so lacking at this location.
