She not only hemmed my dress perfectly and added delicate beading, but she also completely transformed the back by designing a stunning corset and a beaded clasp at the top of the dress that matched seamlessly with the original details of the gown. She also added more beading at the front as I wasn't a fan of cleavage. Back story: I was originally supposed to wear the dress in 2020 for a Disney wedding. However, we all know what happened in 2020. We decided we would do a 5 year vow renewal but when the time came and two children later... I no longer fit into the original dress. I still loved the dress and wanted to make it work so I decided to see Christy and see if alterations could be made so I could wear it! At first I was hesitant of the pricing as the alterations were more than the dress itself. However, you're paying for the quality of the work. I had alterations made in 2019 and they weren't to Christy's standard. She actually spent time fixing those alterations as measurements were off. Her eye for detail and craftsmanship are unmatched--everything looked like it had always been part of the dress. Thanks to her, my gown fit like a dream and felt uniquely mine. I received so many compliments, and I truly felt beautiful on my wedding day. If you are looking for someone who is talented, professional, and dedicated to making your vision come to life, I highly recommend Christy. They had to be taken in quite significantly because the cut of the jeans wasn't what I had been expecting. Rodica listened to what I was looking for and was honest about the extent of the alterations. The price was very reasonable, especially for how much tailoring was required. She did an excellent job with my jeans and gave me exactly what I wanted. I am beyond happy and now have better jeans than I had even been initially searching for! I will most definitely return to Rodica for all my future tailoring needs! She deserves all of her rave reviews, to which I wholeheartedly add my own!

I am so happy I made the drive out to Abbotsford to visit The Dressy Attic. I was a little hesitant…read moreto purchase a used wedding dress but I am glad I came here instead of looking at individual dresses on Craigslist or paying full price at a bridal store. I was able to look online at all the selections so I had an idea of dresses and price ahead of time (something which you can't get a traditional bridal stores) and they had all the dresses picked for me before I arrived. They were very accommodating even after I was 45 minutes late for my appointment due to traffic. The girls were super helpful and were patient while I tested out the dresses from every angle and even tried a couple on again (making her lace up the back for a second time- sorry!). Prices were very reasonable and they even had some new dresses to choose from. I was excited with my choice which had a bustle already included (something I would have had to pay more money for elsewhere) and they even cleaned it for me for free. I am thrilled to have found a dress $1000-1500 cheaper than I would have had to pay elsewhere. They even offered to accept the dress back on consignment after my wedding. I would recommend The Dressy Attic to anyone looking to save money for their wedding (and they also sell prom dresses!).

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service…read more Purchased a coat 3 weeks ago (to the day), had lost the receipt but gave them my information when purchased so figured it wouldn't be an issue. When I visited the store today to make the return, I was told I was WELL over the return date (which was 14 days) and that they could not find me in the system. So the item I had the tags on, and was clearly from the store, I could not only not return, but they would also not offer me some type of store credit. I find it funny that although between my mother and myself, we've purchased multiple items, that we wouldn't be in the system at all. Not whatsoever. I was treated like I was trying to steal from them, and a child. They looked down on me and hid behind their "policies". Having worked in retail for 5+ years (both small business and corporate) I understand policies are put into place for a reason, but do not agree with the way I was treated and it is extremely clear they do not care about their customers. They've not only lost me as a customer but my sisters, mother, and others I will share this story with in the future. Bye forever Bella + Wren. I won't miss you.
