I gave the gift of driving lessons for Christmas gifts to two teenagers and went with A Learn to Drive & Traffic School. George was amazing in getting them prepared for the road test and I definitely recommend this school. George was patient and was very helpful in getting them up to snuff with driving. He came right to the house, picked them up and took them on the road. It was not only convenient, but it was not badly priced either. Though they are in Orange City, they came out to Daytona Beach to pick up each of the boys for their respective lessons. I will give them a solid five stars and they definitely have my recommendation. If you need to get someone driving lessons, this is the driving school to choose.

I found Don Rudolph - owner of the Winter Park Driving Academy, LLC thru the DMV listing for driving schools in Seminole County. Don has over 10 years of driving instruction experience. Originally certified in Defensive Driving Instruction by the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council, Don has also completed additional training in Police Pursuit driving instruction through the New England State Police Area. The mission of WPDA is to provide behind the wheel driving instruction with the purpose of developing the highest level of driving skills to the student. We signed up for the Four Lesson (6hr) Defensive Driving Program as this was all the time we had before his appointment for his driving test. (There is also options for Six Lessons - 9hrs, Eight Lessons -12hrs, 10hr Night Driving, hourly sessions and also rental of the Academy vehicle for the road exam at the DMV. Don came out to our house in his dual control vehicle and had my son drive from the house for his lesson. Don gave us an information sheet on what was required for the exam and also the documents that the DMV now require for licensing (US Birth Cert or US Passport, SSCard, 2 proofs of residence). We noticed straight away that Don was a calm, well presented, polite man that put us at ease. After his first session with Don we noticed a marked improvement in my son's driving skills and I no longer felt anxious to have him drive me to practice outside of his lessons, with each session my son improved dramatically. He passed his driving test first try and was extremely pleased. Don turned out to be the right choice for us and I would highly recommend him to anyone starting out or wishing to improve their driving skills.

They are absolutely no good. first lessons went swimmingly, by the time the test came, we had driven all the way to the DMV only to find out they scheduled us for the wrong day. I was told we'd get a new test date soon. But it never came. I let a month go by before sending them an email about it, then a second, then third. No response. It took calling them several times to get my money back, and another email for the receipt for that. The drivers, they're great. But I wouldn't do that again.

The 4th one didn't happen due to their issue and my instructor told me to call the lady in the office to reschedule. She couldn't reschedule it sooner than 2 months. I asked her for a refund and she promised to call back. Never did. When I called her back and repeated the situation again very nicely (which I regret even trying to be nice to her). Cher goes with a nasty "so what?" In a very rude manner. She repeated it again after I explained it one more time. I've got my money back but the overall feeling from this unprofessional behaviour ruined the whole experience. Honestly disgusting and they should invest some time into educating their employees about customer service and basic manners such not texting customers at 10pm. My instructor Cortland was amazing tho. He does a great job and is very nice. Wanted to book more classes but this lady..never again. She needs somebody to communicate with her on her level and it's not gonna be me.
