I recently saw that they were offering a 1 hour online workshop with a guest speaker/ coach. The topic was about rest not being a luxury. With everything going on today, it was timely and on point. The coach dropped some gems during the first half, we were then able to ask questions via chat. After that, we started painting our signs with live follow the leader step by step instructions. The sign came in a nicely prepared box wrapped in lovely paper and was pre-stained. Also included were pots of paints of your chosen colors, a stencil transfer, paint brush, wooden flowers, small sponges for dabbing the paint on, and two recipes (face mask and a cocktail). The class was well moderated. The owner was streaming live from her home workshop with a really cool backdrop. This was well put together!!! My end product was amazing! This particular center is the closest one to my house so I was sad to find that it was closed for repairs. I was watching it like a hawk! I kept checking to see when it was open and it seems like the date kept being pushed further back. But fast forward and I saw an advertisement on Facebook about joining the Dundalk swim center. Imagine my excitement! I went in for a tour a couple days ago and I was even more excited when I saw the pool in person. I was given a tour, some insight on the best times to swim, and information about future swim lessons. The staff is very friendly and they're waiting for you all to come swim! It's not a very big pool, but the secret is that not many people know it's open. So today I had it all to myself aside from a few women who were doing water aerobics. The water is nice and warm but not too warm. I swam 2,000 yd and didn't feel like it was hot. Will, the operations director/life guard, is very friendly and will answer any questions you may have. By the way, it's a 25-yard pool. The locker room is nice with plenty of lockers, bring your lock for the day. They also have one of those machines to dry out your swim gear. Overall, it's a great pool and I'm glad that it's open! I'll be back regularly!

He has been challenged academically and has been cared for and nurtured there. The amount of support that I had from both the teachers and the administration were superb and even unexpected. He adores all his teachers and all staff, they are caring and more than fair. I love that ABBS is a smaller school, they really get to know all the kids and parents have an easy access to all teachers and staff. Although we all loved and miss Miss Marshall, the new Principal, Miss Freeman has brought in so many positive ideas and excitement into the school. If you are considering ABBS look no further. Oh I also have to say that although we love every teacher at the school, I must specifically mention Miss A. since she has been my son's homeroom teacher for the past two years and had to put up with us on regular basis. Miss A is the perfect combination of fun but a teacher that keeps her class in order and focused, we simply will miss her terribly!

That was the only consecutive day I had off every week. I contacted her that next weekend to see if I could come to class, and she tells me my classes expired, but when I tried to use them she was never available. She's a scam artist! I picked everything up yesterday-- my pants were hemmed perfectly, and she repaired a family heirloom vintage dress for me in a manner that you couldn't even tell it had been redone. This dress was hard for me to hand off to a stranger because it means a lot to me and she did such a wonderful job. I'm even having her use an old pair of favorite pants to make a pattern to make a couple new pairs. I was shocked how inexpensive it was! If you have sewing needs, this is the place to be.
