Aside from her, the daycare itself seemed nice, but the assistant director's attitude gave me a bad feeling. Honestly, I'm glad she acted that way--it made my decision easy. He's a normal 4 year old, and when behaviors happened at home, we disciplined him. But we were never aware of the frequency at school they were happening. After speaking to a few teachers, they confirmed what would happen and that the behaviors did happened, and our son was never guided through emotions. He was left to just deal with it without help from a teacher to guide him through what he was feeling. Ultimately, this didn't keep him emotionally safe or teach him how to process the emotions. This also enabled behavior by the teachers, and ultimately, a reflection on the lack of leadership over the daycare itself by the owner. A child needs guidance. Now that we are aware, we are working in collaboration with his school to give him the help he needs as well as a few therapies. Due to all of this, we pulled our toddler who was still there and secured another location for him. When I brought this information to the attention of the owner, she had the audacity to say that it was not happening. I told her I had the confirmation that the behaviors did occur and what was done. She stayed silent. The lack of responsibility and ownership of your own business is appalling and abysmal. The infant room teacher and the 2s teacher are the best teachers in the world, this place is lucky to have them, but in all honesty, those two teachers are too good for Little Minds. Everyone who knows the infant lead teacher and 2s teacher would gladly keep them, but 3s and up, do not send your child here if you want them emotionally safe. We really feel as though things were not reported to us just to keep numbers and money coming in or the teachers are inadequate for the 3s room. Either way, it's unacceptable. I wish we had pulled our son after the 2s teacher. It went down hill from there. I came back on to edit my post. Everything above is true, but I wanted to add that my son has been in speech and doing wonderful. His speech therapist happened to ask where he started at with daycare, and I told her Little Minds. The speech therapist said, "say no more. I've had many kids from this facility." This is horrible that the speech therapist knew the daycare by name. I should have never trusted this place.

It is a very academically driven school and we loved every bit of it. The teachers are very hands-on and they actually CARE and take time to work with the kids and it shows. To name a few, Ms. Carol and Ms. Carmen has taught her to be the smartest, sweetest, and most well-behaved kid from the start. Now, Ms. Jordan and Ms. Kelly has her well prepared for the next level. Everyday our daughter impresses us with what she has learned and is very excited to go back to school day after day. You wouldn't believe how many compliments we get when we're out, about how smart, polite, and well mannered she is. We definitely owe a large part of that to this school and its incredible how she stands out amongst other kids of her age. Believe me, you will definitely be able to tell the difference. This school has an excellent track record for success. Just about every kid of her graduating class was accepted to their first pick private school. Ms. Tammy and Ms. Kirsten's vision is very focused and their recipe for success is impressive. The kids are surrounded by other great kids, so you can imagine the atmosphere of this school. The environment is very clean, bright, and most importantly, safe. There is an armed SWAT, police officer who is ALWAYS on duty when they are inside the school and especially along with them when they are outside. It definitely makes us feel better. March 6th he started a new daycare and when I tell you the daycare is a total 360! At Kindercare my son never ran to hug any teacher and he cried or whined nearly everyday I dropped him off! At his new location my son runs and hugs the teachers and tell me bye and waves to me as I go. He is so excited to go to school everyday and he's started communicating more. When he's out sick they call and check on him! Never had that happen at Kindercare! The energy was off there! Kids know because they can feel it too! Every single day they have lots of different activities and learning that they do that's uploaded in the app along with pictures. They also write a summary of everything they do and what they learned. Kindercare barely sent pictures and they barely ever uploaded reports! If your just looking for a daycare to have a place to put them while at work then it's cool but if your looking for them to learn and discover and have fun and enjoy themselves send them elsewhere! The classrooms at his new daycare are really large and they have two teachers at all times and about 12 students total whereas Kindercare have loads of students and one teacher! This daycare does not understand how to work with any children needs or wants when they are upset…read moreand especially non verbal children with special needs. They will kick your child out for crying too much or for running around which is what they did to my child! Also their doors dnt lock so the kids can exit if they want.... One time I went to pick up my son and he was following behind 2 parents with 2 other children...he had made it through 2 doors into the area where the front desk is, so they definitely don't watch them like they should! Always wet up and clothes always inside out and backwards at pickup they dnt even think to fix their clothes! They told me after 4 months of attendance that they needed an IEP and evaluation for him to be able to return and that would tell them how to respond when he's upset and crying or acting out! You would think a daycare that has been caring for him for 4 months would have established a way to deal with a child when he's upset...however they rather outsource to help them learn how to run a daycare! If they needed an evaluation for children that don't speak they should have asked for that in the beginning for all non verbal children or all children of that matter since they sending them home for screaming and acting out from time to time! Mr. Eric also don't document incidents like other daycares to let you know a problem is arising, he just kick the child out giving you no time to work on things or find another daycare for that matter! Thank God I have the pleasure of having my own businesses and not punching nobody's clock as I wouldn't have a job dealing with this daycare...also a ratio of one teacher for every 6 toddlers is required however my sons class had 15 students and one teacher! Mr Eric is also not truthful ! He sat in a meeting and said that he never said my son couldn't return without an IEP which he definitely said on the phone he just didn't have it in him to admit it in person and I didn't have time to go back and forth ! Also he will keep your child enrolled which means daycare fees still have to be paid even tho he dnt allow them to return... while he have you doing something that requires a long wait time...he knew 2 weeks ago he wasn't going to let my son return he had every excuse in the world but didn't un enroll him ...such a scam! They so lazy they don't even document your children's food like they should or update their schedule..so basically the app is for nothing it be empty half the days and you get pics maybe 2 times a week...I had a meeting with Mr. Eric and the director Samantha yesterday and she did do everything she could to try and resolve the situation to have my son return however Mr Eric had every excuse in the book of why he couldn't come back with this or that and no documents to back up anything he said my son did! After posting what happened on my social platforms to over 100k plus people most of the responses were Kindercare is not a good daycare and I totally agree! If you would have asked me my opinion of Primrose in 2023, I would have given them an extremely positive review. However, in 2025, I would not say the same. I pre-registered my youngest daughter for the 2025/ /2026 school year in February 2025. I paid the deposit in April 2025. However, despite my address being exactly the same in Procare as it was when my eldest daughter was previously enrolled, I never received registration paperwork from the school, despite my emailing and asking the new director, Danielle Nash, several times. When I went to the meet and greet about a week before school started, my daughter was not placed in a classroom. She did not have a seat, a backpack, or supplies ready. Not only this, but her name was spelled incorrectly, despite me spelling her name correctly on the pre- registration paperwork. It was at this point that I was already having a bad feeling about enrolling my daughter at Primrose. On the first day of school all of my daughter's things were tagged with the wrong name and she was called the wrong name all day despite her telling the teachers her correct name. The school is completely disorganized. When I reached out and emailed Miss Nash about my concerns, she did not reply. Not only did she not reply, but for the rest of the month my daughter was enrolled, she seemed to be giving me the cold shoulder. Everyone else at the front desk, Miss Odom, in particular, were extremely friendly and welcoming. The final straw for me was when my daughter fell at school. I understand accidents happen. However, I did not receive an incident report. I only received a brief message on Procare. The message did not stress how serious the injury was or how my daughter was feeling. Nobody cleaned or bandaged my daughter's wound. The level of thoughtfulness and care that used to be present at Primrose are no longer. I am not sure if it is the staff changes or management issue, but the school is extremely disorganized. I can no longer in good faith recommend the school.
