I'm very spoiled because 2 of my daughters do hair professionally, and it was hard for me to find a good salon after moving 3 hours away from them to Austin, and then Hutto. Maxi is excellent at color, cuts and did a great Brazilian Blow out; and my hair looks and feels wonderful. The prices are very reasonable and actually much less than what I paid in Dallas. She gives you exactly what you ask for and is experienced enough to let you know if your request would damage your hair or not. They are a family salon and have a very good atmosphere. Sola Salons is located in the same shopping center, but different building, as Dave and Buster's, and is across from Mattress Firm. I have reviewed Noelle before---she does amazing highlights and cuts. Now that she's an entrepreneur and has started a new business with Josh (who came from the same salon Noelle did), I would love to send them all the business I can. So just go already! They opened today--I was one of Noelle's first clients--but are planning a grand opening event with bevvies and snackies on August 9. Truth is, I would have followed Noelle across town but lucky for me, she's in my zip code now!

I haven't heard back. I physically went there at 4:30 p.m. today 3/28/2017 and it was closed. Online it showed open. So I won't know how the service will be but I do know that a business which doesn't take the time to make an appointment or at the very least get back in some fashion is not my place to go. Disappointed. I would still be happy to have just an appointment made to at least not lose my $$ money!!!! since Groupon only refunds in the first 3 days and after that gives a 'trade-in'

I saw their ad mentioned that they offered $5.98 hair cuts on M-Th. So, I called to schedule a cut for my kiddo and was told that the $5.98 cuts were exclusively for boys/men. I was told they offer this for simple cuts/fades on men and boys. I still chose to go. They are native Spanish speakers and the shop is really low key. I helped wet and comb my child's hair out when she was seated because she has very tight curls. And even though my child decided to be a complete turd while getting her hair done, the stylist never stopped smiling and trying to convince my baby to cooperate. Khy was complaining, grunting, and refused to move her head in the directions asked. Under the circumstances, I think the stylist did a heck of a job! While my kid usually does really well, today was one of "those days" in which she just wasn't having any of it. I found that incredibly irritating considering SHE was the one who was hounding me to get her hair done. After the cut, they offered my baby a dum dum which I quickly declined. (I don't believe in rewarding bad behavior.) Either way, the cut was only $10. Not bad considering all the effort they put into cutting Khy's curls. If you just ask them to do a quick run of the blow dryer over the back of your neck to clear off some excess hair, they are happy to oblige. I'd go back!
