First of all, I have never in my life been to a Mexican food restaurant that charged for chips & salsa... you go to Olive Garden and you get breadsticks, Lone Star Steakhouse gives you peanuts, etc. Chips & salsa is a given at Mexican Restaurants. Second, every time I have ever ordered a bean & cheese burrito at a sit down Mexican restaurant, it comes with rice & beans. No idea why, it just does. Third, I have never in my life been charged for salsa at a Mexican restaurant... and never charged for ketchup or mustard at a burger joint. So I sit down at The Egg Tequila restaurant and order a bean & cheese burrito with rice & beans and spicy sauce with the chips & salsa. This was my bill: Bean & Cheese Burrito: $19.99 Spanish Rice: $4.99 Chips and Salsa: $5.99 Salsa (3 ramekins @ $1.25): $3.75 For a grand total of $37.58 incl tax + $8 for the tip. We arrived at 10:38 after church. We ordered and waited and waited. We saw a family of 7 come in after we had already ordered, a older couple sit down next to us, who decided to go to the bar area and eat, another group came in and ordered about 15min later, the family of 7 got there food and were done eating and waiting on the check the other group received there food right after that. I got up and checked on the people that moved to the bar and they were all finished eating. We had been waiting 50 min and never received our food, we decided that was enough. I let the waitress know that we had been waiting almost an hour and she apologized, we decided that was long enough to wait and left, very disappointing. As we were leaving the hostess said I hope you have a great day, and I said we will but we are gonna have to go find somewhere to eat, and she said it's not my fault and not to be rude, I don't think that was being rude it was being honest. I thought someone should know, it was our first time being there and not looking like we will be coming back. As much as everyone up here loves to drink the Caesar, I stick with my bloody Mary's and they made me one of the best I've ever had! The bacon wrapped poppers were delicious as were our entrees. The ambience was nice. I would only change up the music once in a while. read more

The last time I was here it was a movie store! So as I walked through the door I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice bar area and lots of seating. The menu has a variety of items from breakfast to supper. We ordered an item that had been recently discontinued. We opted for an eggs benedict instead. If I could give zero stars I would. This is my 4th or 5th time here now that I have walked out after sitting for 25+ minutes with ZERO service. No one comes by to even say I'll be with you in a moment or to take a drink order, NOTHING. It's not busy at all ever and it's always the same each and every time. Really bummed because my absolute first time here was amazing but for some reason service just isn't their priority anymore. This is one of those restaurants where you definitely don't judge it by its exterior. It looks like a real dive on the outside but the interior is very modern. The food is not what you would think. I thought it was a Mexican restaurant but it is easily more than that. They do serve a little Mexican food but not a lot. I've eaten here twice and the food was excellent both times. It just wasn't good and seemed very lazy, I ordered chicken fajitas. 1) the chicken was cut into thick 3 inch chucks, not sliced at all. 2) there was absolutely no seasoning on them, it was just grilled chicken chunks with mushy onions and peppers. 3) THEY FORGOT THE TORTILLAS , like are you kidding me ? Word on the street is Señor Egg is fairly new in town, but it might possibly the best place to eat in Williston. We ate brunch and dinner there in one day. If you're there for breakfast/brunch the sausage is good. And don't miss the sweet corn tamal. The pineapple upside down pancakes were interesting but could have used a bit more caramel drizzle. We just moved here a few months ago and by far this is our favorite breakfast place. The staff is always friendly. The biscuits and gravy is absolutely delicious and they also have the best coffee in town. Look forward to trying the other menu items as well. It also has a pretty cool atmosphere. read more

Nestled in between two very low budget motels, in a building that looks neglected and homemade signs is where Senor Egg is located. We discovered and dined there because we were staying at one of those low budget hotels and the restaurant is basically in the hotel parking lot. Very convenient. Walking in, the place had the look and feel of a warehouse. Concrete floors, plain walls, few decorations (nothing Mexican except a couple of fake cactus plants decorated for Christmas. There was a small bar up front, and big t.v.s all around the bar and dining area. Not comfortable at all. The servers are very prompt and very attentive. We were quickly asked about drinks and given menus. The menus are ....well.... strange. We thought this was a Mexican restaurant, and the menu did have a few Mexican dishes, but not many. There was a little bit of everything. Burgers, steaks, sandwiches, salads. Etc. The menu is not large. Just ...well ...diverse? The prices are quite high for what is offered. Especially for this area. My wife ordered a blt sandwich because thats reaĺly all that appealed to her. I asked if they had ground beef for enchiladas. Nope. Only chicken or shrimp. I ordered a taco salad. No ground beef. Only carne asada. My wife said her blt had no taste and the bread was soggy. The carne asada in my taco salad had no taste. In fact, the salad had no taste except for the very hot onions. Those dinner items and 2 cokes cost $41 plus tip. Senor Egg cannot decide what it wants to be. Is it a Mexican restaurant? A burger joint? A steakhouse? A sports bar? It does not seem to know. We were so disappointed. The server gets 5 stars. Everything else gets 1 star. We will not be going back. read more

Came here for Valentine's Day with my husband and it was a great experience! The green chilli appetizer was amazing 5/5!!!! Tonight 12/15/2021 around 6:30pm I was trying to have dinner with a group of friends, when our waiter Chase, became very unprofessional and created a very uncomfortable situation for our table. There were five individuals in our party and we were sat in a booth for four people. There was an open table beside us and when I asked him if when the table was clean we could move over. He then looked at me and my husband in front of our friends and multiple people around us at other tables, and said that he would be more inclined to take care of us if we tipped more. He said that he heard from his friend "Trina", that we drove a Range Rover and we should tip more because of the car we drive. At this point several tables turned to look over to see what Chase was saying to us in shock that an employee would speak to a guest this way. This is not the first time Chase has been inappropriate while serving us, as the last time we were eating there he shared explicit details of his sexual activity. I usually do not post reviews that are negative however this needs to be addressed. No one should ever have to be treated like this no matter what you drive, where you work, your sexuality, or anything else. The manager was really nice but said only "I'll talk to him, would cheesecake make you come back" then proceeded to laugh and have fun with Chase the rest of the time. I felt as if we were not important and it didn't not matter if we were treated ugly and did not come back because as Chase said earlier "I take your table out of pity" it was infuriating to know that someone could speak to guests this was especially ones who are rooted in this community and invest not only money but time. Our friends were in shock wondering why he spoke to us this way because they know we are good people and treat everyone with kindness. At the end when it was time to pay Chase picked up all the cards on the table except our and left to take care of them and would not accept ours, we had to call over the manager yet again to have her take our payment since he would not. I left in tears because of how embarrassed I was and angry for the way it was handled. I have never had this happen anywhere in all the countries and states that we have traveled this was a first right here in Williston, where I call home. I really enjoy the food and the atmosphere of this restaurant and I am very disappointed that we will not be returning until something gets done about this type of behavior. read more
