Neat western decor
Nick S.

This place was packed when we showed up on a Sunday night. I don't know how to describe it other than a more interesting and fun Texas Roadhouse vibe The exterior has a lot of unique and rustic decor. There are dozens of metal bison in front and back of the parking lots You enter the restaurant and there's more unique decor with things like hundreds of cowboy boots decorated across the ceiling The menu offers a variety of elevated bar foods with other entree options. We didn't drink, but the drink menu looked could as well The service was quick and the staff was very accommodating Some tips: Try one of the burgers. They're massive and tasty

Good burger, and the plate of fish and chips was quite large. Very neat interior with lots of cowboy boots, hats & other paraphernalia. Our waitress was attentive & food came out hot, with minimal wait (we ate at around 4pm so not busy).

From the road... everything grabs your attention with all the metal Buffalo, bull riders statues. Inside, the place is filled with eclectic decor from a gorgeous motorcycle on display to hats hanging from the ceiling. Your eyes go everywhere just to keep up with all the funny signs & memorabilia. Fun stuff !! We sat at the bar, as usual, and Jay greeted us with a warm smile and HELLO. Ordered our drinks and read the menu....... a lot from which to choose, that's for sure. My husband ordered the open faced meatloaf sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. A very large portion that was moist and full of flavor. I ordered the pulled pork appetizer roll ups. (Can't remember the exact name). Tasty but not overly great in texture.... felt like I was eating mush. I wouldn't order them again but would definitely come back to eat another meal.

Definitely a solid place to eat when in town! Awesome atmosphere and decor. I ate there two nights and the food was excellent! Good portion size and prices are very reasonable! Service at the bar was standard! They made sure drinks were filled and checked in! Definitely the food is the reason to come and they do have drink specials each night! The walleye and Cajun shrimp with dirty rice is excellent! Also got the prime rib dip! Very good! The bacon Mac n cheese was average! Will definitely come back!

Friendly restaurant, with hunter designed like lion đen with hats shoes and ankles, price are reasonable with quick services and young hustler bartenders

We came in here and had a wonderful dinner. It was very tasty. Service was very good and they had a great Cadillac margarita.

The reviews for this restaurant previously almost had me not even wanting to give this restaurant a chance. But as soon as my hubby and I walked into this awesomely decorated restaurant we were greeted with friendly faces. Our waitress was smiling and engaging. Offering up her personal Thursday special cocktail as a suggestion definitely worth trying (Crazy Jade). My husband and I tried two different appetizers they are filling on their own very tasty. The tomatillo dip with the fracking chicken had a nice kick to it and the redneck egg rolls had a great combination inside a fried egg roll shell. I could not finish the egg rolls so guess what I'm having for lunch. My husband had the Southwest Turkey Burger bunless sorry no picture because he dug into it before I could but he said it had really great flavor. I requested the Whiskey Chicken with two sides garlic mash potatoes and their seasoned veggies snow peas. Lovely combination and what made me happy was I could use my fork to cut the chicken with ease. For dessert I saw on the menu a Brownie served with ice cream drizzled with a chocolate cherry sauce. I'm like that sounds easy to eat heck no it was a huge brownie with a heaping scoop of ice cream served with huge spoons to try and eat this mammoth. There was two of us to eat it but we could have used some help. Again our waitress was awesome loved her energy can't say enough on how much she made our experience at Doc Holliday's memorable.

Hangin out, havin some fun at Doc's!

Good value, good taste, good portions. My side salad was big and good. I got the pork chop and it was perfect. Quick to fill your drink.

Excellent service, ordinary food. Priced a little high. Just my opinion but it seemed to do a pretty good business.

Small menu and tasteless food. Had a hamburger there not to long ago and the patty had no flavor. A little seasoning goes a long way!

After too many miles on the road, I was ready for a steak. Doc's ribeye and loaded potato did the trick. Excellent and prompt service too

That said, the hostess experience has consistently been the weak point for me. On my most recent visit, there were open seats in the bar area and I politely requested to sit there because it felt warmer and more intimate for our group. The request was denied in a way that came across unnecessarily dismissive and unfriendly, which unfortunately set the tone for the evening. I also think the restaurant could improve how the back dining room is managed during colder months. That area tends to be very cold when it first opens in the evening, and guests are often seated there before the room has had time to warm up. It would make a big difference if the area was opened and heated before seating guests, since most people naturally prefer to sit somewhere warm when it's freezing outside. Unfortunately, when customers ask to move to a warmer area, it can feel like the request is treated more as an annoyance than an effort to make guests comfortable. At a restaurant of this caliber, hospitality starts at the front door. The food and servers are excellent, but the front-of-house experience could definitely use improvement.

Being in the industry for over 20 years, to my surprise the bartender said "let me ask the kitchen, we close in 45 minutes.!' 45 minutes to close shouldn't even be a question to ask the kitchen. Then she came out and said they were still serving and takes off. So we are looking for a place to sit and she says' you can't sit there, there are no servers.' Ok so maybe you should have sat us after you told us you were still serving 45 minutes to close. The service just progressed to get worse. The food itself was pretty good but the portions were ridiculously small. Only one side with main dish and my date ordered the duck and got literally 4 small bite size pieces of meat, $32. My halibut was also very skimpy and the Brussels sprouts were burnt, $38. Not once did the server even come back to ask how the food was or I would have had her get me a different side. I wish I would have taken a picture of the food. The food itself was good, minus burnt Brussels sprouts but it's a good thing we got an appetizer too or we would have still been hungry. The server is lucky my date left 20 because I said to leave 10 and I don't even know if that was deserved. I am in the industry and we always overtip but not in this case when it's more than obvious the server doesn't even want to be there. So all in all it was not a good experience. Overpriced for the portion of food and the service was awful.

Very friendly staff. Ordered chicken fried steak which was great. Huge amount of food. The service staff was wonderful. They served coke and pepsi products!! Thank goodness for the diet coke. They even gave me a to go cup. My meal was tasty and flavorful. The ambiance was great. Great signs all over the wall were fun to look at while waiting. Creamers and jellies on the table. Husband ordered some type of chicken sandwich which was very good as well. He received fries with his meal. They were very good. Everything was great. Clean, family oriented. Lots of locals eating there. Will return next time I am visiting Williston!

The moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed with that classic small-town diner charm. The friendly crew of young ladies greet everyone with a warm "Hi!" and clearly know their regulars by heart. This time around, I was craving liver and onions, and Lonnie's delivered. Two perfectly cooked slices, tender, flavorful, and just the right balance between not too rare and not overdone. Served with hash browns, corn, and a warm roll, it made for the perfect comfort meal. Big thanks to Lonnie's for satisfying the craving with some seriously delicious liver and onions. If you're in town and craving a hearty, home-cooked meal, do yourself a favor and stop by Lonnie's. Highly recommended! .
