Make sure you are checking out the artist you are trying to get a tattoo from. This shady artist flaked out on an appointment & refused to give the deposit back! As a tattoo artist if you don't have a specific deposit policy then it is YOUR job to make it clear to your client! My niece made an appointment a month in advance and the day OF Elise decided to cancel because she "didn't have the right size needle" GIRL you had a whole month to be prepared for that appointment Elise rescheduled but my niece decided she didn't want to continue with her & cancelled 6 days before. NOWHERE on her page did it say deposits were non-refundable. NOWHERE on her appointment form did it say deposits were non-refundable. NOWHERE in the messages that they exchanged did she SAY deposits were non-refundable. Did she go & change her policy AFTER my niece asked for her deposit back? Of course she did! Because she knows she's wrong! We've tried reaching out to her & she refuses. We've tried reaching out to the shop & can't get an answer. I went by the shop at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and they were closed, even though their hours are Tuesday-Saturday 12-8pm. read more

Ashley is such an incredible artist! In particular I love her style when it comes to black and darker themed tattoos. You can give her a basic idea and she'll turn it into something better than your own imagination! She is also open to tattooing your designs not just things in her style. Her portfolio also includes color and floral/linework tattoos. She can do beautiful almost watercolor like flowers! She is very versatile! Texting her to inquire about booking was super easy. She got back to me super fast. I made a request to put down a deposit for a future tattoo for someone else as a Valentine's Day gift. I received an immediate response to my review and she was very apologetic and wanted to find out what she could do to make things right. Marty is very nice and easy to talk with. I felt comfortable and she is very professional. I was very pleased with the results. I could not thank her enough. I feel after this experience I can recommend getting a tattoo done at her shop. I would suggest asking for "Marty". I do trust her work. But I won't be getting any new work with Skylar. I never know if and when he will ever respond and I just feel that he seemed more worried about the money than keeping clients. Do not let my bad experience with one tattoo artist there at the Electric Needle Room tattoo shop stop you from going and seeing for yourself about getting work done there. Im not usually one to fabricate reviews however, this case was rather unusual. I would have thought because they were holding a sale they would have wanted to expand their clientele but clearly i was mistaken. I had gone in for a walk in as thats what they mostly specialize in but only had one artist in the shop, no biggie. I had provided them with my name and contact info to reach out to me when the other artists came in for the day but got absolutely no response. Couple days after this i had personally messaged the artist i liked the work best of and again, no response. With no response or no appointment they still promoted their availability and walk ins which contradicts everything i had experienced. All in all i wouldn't waste my time here and would seek artists who actually want to do their job. read more

It was recently advertised that this establishment would be having a sale , a small tattoo for $60 or piercings for $30. I was interested in getting some ink so I walked in and asked if they had time for a walk in which they did not understandable as only one tattoo artist was at the shop. However I left behind my info so they'd reach out to me in case they had time or to let me know they would be able to take me in later on in the day and they never called back. I tried making an appointment a few days later and I also received no response. A friend of mine had gotten in and asked about the sale , he did manage to get some ink however he was told it was $100 shop minimum , even though his piece was within size of the "flash sale " rules. I understand that places might be busy and what not but as a business communication with a potential customer should be important to you and it definitely did not feel that way to me . read more

I will never support their business!!! I would rather spend more money at someone's else's shop than there's and this is why. Me and my friends saw a special on their instagram " $60 tattoos and $30 piercings until January" so when we went that weekend there was no piercer which okay we didn't care because they mainly wanted tattoos but when we walked in there was one person in there he asked us what we were here for and we told him about the special he said he was the only one here and that the other artists are supposed to come in later so he wrote down our names and numbers so he can call us back whenever to explain what's gonna happen but no call since. Me and my friends were so excited and willing to spend the money and even show our id's we just wanted something done but after seeing customer service it's not worth it being " good price " because they did post walk-ins each day after so my friend sent Ashley a message to set an appointment but still no answer but still continue to post which one of our friends went and had to spend $100 which doesn't make sense because how are they gonna have a special for $60 tattoos and $30 piercings but then tell our friend "it's a $100 shop minimum" like make it make sense?! read more

The great location comes highly recommended by anyone looking for a legit, sterile, welcoming environment to get a tattoo! I am a bit of a rookie but was put completely at ease! (really!) While waiting to have my stencil placed, I was serenaded by Marty playing the piano with mashups that included nine inch nails and the smiths... went into the shop to get a tattoo had a bit of money in my pocket to get the tat I wanted and a cover up for my wife not a problem on my end after afew minutes I was asked what I wanted I said I want a tat but finish up on the tat he was doing after 15 min the artist said we cant just be chilling in there so who ever this supposedly artist is just lost out on two tats that would of been straight up cash due to the rudeness of his manor.. will not go to him or her cause of there rudeness. herd they were the best guess they are not dont know how to run a business..I'll drive to fresno now.. read more

I love how you can give her your idea and she turns it into something you're totally satisfied with. She honestly loves what she does which makes it exciting for me too! From the moment I pulled up to the shop, I was greeted by their very friendly staff who treated me as if they had known me for years. Their no nonsense sterility of their workspaces was on point. Anytime a passerby came to look at my piece being done, my artist was more than clear about staying away from the "sterile table" Her friendly banter kept me from wincing too much, lol. All of the team at The Electric Needle Room was friendly to both their clients as well as to each other. Their constant compliments to each other's work was what was heard throughout the shop.. The camaraderie was something i definitely dug about this place... I highly, utterly, and without a doubt RECOMMEND this shop for all of your needs.
