When we got there, we were informed that the piercing lady wouldn't be in until 1:30 pm. We went out for a walk and came back around that time, only to have to wait another 30 minutes to 1 hour for the piercing lady to come in. We didn't really mind too much at the time. When we finally went in, the Lady was really inviting and nice, however, it was noticeable that she was feeling rushed. She marked my girlfriend and all looked good. She also reassured my girlfriend that there would be no issues with it and it as all okay. About a month later, we went to get my eyebrow pierced and then also asked about the general redness around my girlfriend's healing belly piercing. Looking at it, suddenly the piercing lady suggested that my girlfriend didn't get it pierced with her and she strongly DENIED ever seeing her, making my girlfriend feel insecure and uncomfortable. (We told her we saw her about 3 weeks to a month ago.) The lady was notably rushed again when we came the second time. Overall, good vibes and knowledge about piercings but professionalism and kindness was lacking. My girlfriend and I left the shop that day upset and in anger. We understand that she may not remember every person, but denying that one modified a person's body is just rude and uncalled for. UPDATE (6/20/26): As of lately; Shop owner has denied ever performing our piercing, I would not trust this business at all.

As a tattoo artist if you don't have a specific deposit policy then it is YOUR job to make it clear to your client! My niece made an appointment a month in advance and the day OF Elise decided to cancel because she "didn't have the right size needle" GIRL you had a whole month to be prepared for that appointment Elise rescheduled but my niece decided she didn't want to continue with her & cancelled 6 days before. NOWHERE on her page did it say deposits were non-refundable. NOWHERE on her appointment form did it say deposits were non-refundable. NOWHERE in the messages that they exchanged did she SAY deposits were non-refundable. Did she go & change her policy AFTER my niece asked for her deposit back? Of course she did! Because she knows she's wrong! We've tried reaching out to her & she refuses. We've tried reaching out to the shop & can't get an answer. I went by the shop at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and they were closed, even though their hours are Tuesday-Saturday 12-8pm.

I had been a customer for years 4 plus and thought that I should have been made aware of the move but was not. I had purchased waxing services by the year and paid $540 upfront. This has been the case for years prior. Crystal had always gone red my services until now. I had several waxes left when she moved but was informed that my waxing contract expired. After reading the contract it is true it had expired but how unprofessional to have not given me a courtesy reminder prior to the expiration or moving towns. I randomly went to book a wax in September last year and seen the address had changed. I text her to inquire about the move and she responded by confirming the move stating she had just reopened. Unfortunately the vibe of excellent customer service is gone. All the five star reviews from Stockton should be removed as it gives customers a false impression. Make sure you read reviews for new Modesto location! I can no longer recommend this business.

Got trolled so hard here…read more Called in to ask if they do walk ins and the price for ear piercings and gave the price $70 for piercings and studs and said walk ins are available so we agreed. Came in and I asked questions since I never got a piercing and didn't know the procedure but neither the receptionist nor piercer wasn't feeling it that day. Maybe I just caught them in a bad day but either way got my ears pierced quickly. However when I went to pay with my Apple Pay they said cash only AFTER I got my ears pierced and they never said anything on the phone. I asked if I can pay by credit card or Apple way and they pointed at an ATM that I couldn't withdraw money from (since I had no debit card). So since I only had a credit card and apply pay, I had to give up my drivers license and waste about an hour walking around to and back to a gas station that didn't do cash backs and Walgreens a mile away that I had to purchase twice and had a limit of $40 for cash. So after I walked all the way back in the Modesto summer in dress shoes (since I came from an interview) I asked them how should I pay the difference and showed me I can pay with... ...Venmo. ...and yeah, they just made me walk an hour in the blistering heat when I could've just venmoed them the whole time. It's a shame since the place was pretty cool and had a nice vibe to it. I debated on giving them like 2 or 3 stars cause they pierced my ears well but man walking in that Modesto heat for 1 hour in dress shoes to get cash I wasn't informed or needed was not the best experience. So yeah... TLDR: bring cash.
