I am sure it was a challenge to be bending 18 ga SS metal and get it correct to 1/8". Taking care of the surfaces and ensuring grain direction is per customers preference. And a good price. There have been the occasional hiccup with missing test reports or documentation but that is when it is great to work with a local machine shop, as it is much easier to sort those situations out with someone you can drive to easily. He did a great job and has "master welder" skills. From what I know he's a structural engineer. That's right, I said it. ENGINEER! He doesn't cut corners and he can weld from A-Z (I'd say aluminum to zinc if that was even possible). But all kidding aside.. he's able to weld aluminum, steel, titanium or whatever precious metal you throw at him. A buddy of mine needed custom seat brackets for his Bride racing seat. We gave him the drive side and said "here.. i need a mirror image of this with a few modifications here, here and here." The next day he came over and it was PICTURE PERFECT. He made it from scratch and it fit like a glove. His craftsmanship blows me away. I wonder where he was hiding all this time. If you ever needed and custom work done this is the man for the job.
