Luis is absolutely amazing. We worked with him when we got our fence replaced and he was really great with his follow-up and follow-through. After our fence job was done, he told us that he also did staining. He uses oil-based stain which penetrates the wood deeper and needs less maintenance than water-based stain. He has a lot of options on colors and even let us keep the samples for a couple of days to give us time to decide. Luis and his brother Roberto showed up promptly at the scheduled time and stained over 300 feet of fence in less than 3.5 hours. The initial purpose for staining our fence was to protect it, so it was a much added bonus to see how the stain made our fence look even better than we could have imagined. I was reading all the reviews regarding Callerostain. Almost all the reviews were from those you just put up a new fence. Part of our fence (the 2 sides we share with neighbors) is about 2 years old, but the back-side fence is about 10 years old. We should have stained them earlier, but just never got around to it. Luis was timely in coming out to provide an estimate. He explained what he could do to extend the life of our fence (especially the back-side). He thoroughly cleaned/power-washed the fence (both sides of all the fencing), provided new supports for about 8 posts that had weakened, and then stained the fence. He was timely, thorough, and worked with our neighbors (and their schedules) as well, in order to get the work done. The fence looks so good...like new! We know we'll have to replace the backside fence in a few years, but we won't wait so long to get it stained next time. And we will be calling Luis! read more
