We hired JAZ Builders to complete the picket fencing in our front yard (which originally was not fully fenced in), replace an existing chain link fence with lots of vegetation around/in the fence, and replace a section of existing wooden fence. They did a fantastic job and we're so glad we hired them. From the first point of contact, they were very professional and responsive. Rudy came right on time to check out our property and give us a quote. He asked all the right questions and also offered some suggestions. They were able to fit us in very quickly right around the holidays, which we really appreciated. They delivered exactly on timing, scheduling, and their estimate, and the crew was very tidy, respectful, and efficient. I liked that they provided a paper quote with a drawing and comments detailing the exact price of each section of the fence. Especially helpful when you are sharing cost with a neighbor. We had to do our fence in two stages to work with our neighbors' schedules, and JAZ was very accommodating and fit us in for the second stage quickly. It wasn't an easy job since they had to remove a whole side of chain link fence and cut around trees that had grown near the property line. I appreciate that cutting chain link can be messy, but they did a great job cleaning up - we only found a couple of pieces of stray chain link once they were done, which is to be expected. On the other side of the property, we asked them to minimize the damage to some vines and other vegetation that was growing on top of and around the fence, and they did a great job with that. During our search for a fence building company to replace a total of 100 feet of fencing at our house, which included a garbage area and a brand new gate, we found Jaz Builders. We made contact with the project manager Gloria and she was so friendly and professional. After providing some basic information about the project, she assigned one of their estimators to meet me at the house to provide an estimate as well as answer any questions I had. He was prompt and went straight to work. He answered all my questions about what would be done, the materials used as well as their warranty on workmanship. The entire estimate process took less than 45 minutes. A clear and concise written estimate was sent to our email within 48 hours. Once we decided to have hire Jaz Builders for this project, Gloria managed the entire process for us. We were provided a date for the project and based on our specific needs, she assigned 3 of their best and most experienced team members for the job. To our surprise and delight, Gloria informed us that this project will be completed in one day which included the tear down and removal of all the old fence. On the day of the project, the team arrived by 8 am and got to work right away. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and just as we were informed, the entire project was completed by 4 pm. Jaz Builders and team did an amazing job all the way from getting the estimate, to helping me figure out what we wanted, the customer service, and ultimately, the end product. We were converting our front yard into a garden, and we wanted a aesthetically pleasing fence that would keep deer out. My dad actually used them for my grandfather's property (he would give them 5 stars too but he doesn't Yelp), and he recommended them to us. We had a trickier project because our property is sloped two ways, and we wanted them to do our redwood hogwire fence sloped instead of stepped, which is the traditional way. We got so many other quotes, and either other companies wouldn't do it the way we wanted, or would charge a crazy high amount for it. In late July I reached out to Jaz builders and they quickly sent out Marco to generate a quote. They installed two gates and over 100 linear feet of fencing. They used top quality redwood, the baseboards and pillars were pressure treated high quality lumber. The gates were built exactly as promised. Better than advertised. I wanted to replace a sagging gate with a custom metal gate and also needed to replace three rotting fence posts. Scheduling with Gloria was quick and easy.
