I used to think this was a good Community to live in. But the management shifted and now prices are…read moregoing significantly higher all while they do nothing about the simple stuff like package theft in the buildings or people breaking into cars. This really did used to be a good apartment complex. I am saddened to have seen this community turn the way it has. I have been a resident here for three years and this will be my last year here.

This is one of those reviews I wish I didn't have to write. I've lived in this complex for nearly…read moretwo years and genuinely thought it was a good place, until my car was towed under completely avoidable circumstances. I parked in a spot that wasn't clearly marked as reserved. The signage at the time was poorly placed and easy to miss. Within just 2.5 hours, my car was gone. No warning. No notice. I had to pay $439.77 out of pocket to retrieve it. When I contacted management and showed photos of the space, they admitted that they installed new signage after the tow. That alone says everything. If the signs had been clear before, they wouldn't have needed to update them. Even the tow truck driver told me that several other cars had been towed from that same spot recently. Still, the complex refused to offer a full refund. I tried to explain the impact that $440 has on me (it's more than a month of groceries), but I was met with a cold, canned response. It's incredibly disappointing to be treated this way by a place I trusted to be fair. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone who expects accountability or compassion when things go wrong.

I am writing this review based on my experience as an applicant. I applied for a 2Br/2Ba apartment…read more(The cranberry) using the website. The website applicationis a headache, but it is very up to date. I was easily frustrated by having to input info several times. Ease of use is about 6/10. Someone followed up with me immediately the next day (less than 24 hours). Her name is Jordyn. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Moving from Ohio to MD, I have run into some not-so-nice people behind the phone lines more often than I can count. Jordyn is patient and seems to really be on top of things. I was asked to provide other documentation and she started things quickly and easily. Since I am out of state, I don't have pictures yet. I will update this review with the rest of my experience as an applicant. If I am approved for an apartment, I will update it then as well. So far, I anxiously wait to hear back!

Let me start by saying that the leasing office manager and staff are some of the most…read moreunprofessional people I've ever dealt with. They openly gossip about residents *with other residents* and share private information, including when and why someone allegedly won't be allowed to renew their lease. That alone is wildly inappropriate. On top of that, they consistently had a noticeably different demeanor when assisting my boyfriend versus me, and it often felt like they did not respect women. Living conditions have also been frustrating. The neighbors below us smoke cigarettes constantly, making it impossible to open our windows without smoke pouring into our apartment. They repeatedly slam their porch door, which shakes our entire unit, and they leave **mountains of trash bags** overflowing at their door. The trash often creeps toward the stairs, making it difficult to go up and down safely. These issues have been reported multiple times. We were even told these neighbors wouldn't be allowed to renew their lease due to this behavior--clearly more gossip than reality. Parking wasn't an issue initially, but it has become one as residents with multiple vehicles park crookedly and take up extra space. For a place that costs over $2,000 a month, you would expect better management and enforcement. The apartment itself is poorly sealed. The windows and doors are not properly insulated, so the unit stays freezing in the winter even while running the heat and fireplace. The only competent leasing agent, Nico, was let go last year, and since then things have gone downhill fast. The most serious issue occurred recently: without proper notice and without a new lease being signed by my former partner (who is remaining in the apartment), my access was revoked. This is a keyless-entry building, and while the app had already stopped working months ago, that's beside the point. As of yesterday, I was still a leaseholder--no new lease had been signed and I had not signed anything removing my name. Revoking my access under those circumstances is a violation of Maryland tenant rights. Management has since ignored my emails entirely. Overall, I would strongly advise avoiding this property if you can--if for no other reason than to avoid dealing with the leasing office staff.

My husband and I have lived at 8007 Cameryn Place for a little over a year. We moved in last year…read morein April 2024. The elevators aren't currently working and have been down for almost a month now. I am 7 months pregnant, which makes this even more of an inconvenience for my husband and I and other residents on the 4th floor, which includes the elderly, and disabled residents. It has also been confirmed by another resident on the 4th floor and someone in maintenence that the elevators have been down before for a period of 6 weeks, (before we moved here). The property managers are emailing us with updates but it isn't helping the situation. We are currently on a month to month lease and plan to move out at the end of May but can't really give a 30 day notice because of the unknown circumstances, elevator not being fixed by then in order to move our furniture from the 4th floor. We have also asked management for some kind of reimbursement on next month's rent for the inconvenience and were told it was up for discussion. Today, my husband was told there would not be any kind of reimbursement, but "sorry for the inconvenience". The uncertainty, inconvenience along with the amount of monies each individual unit is paying in addition to us paying an extra $250 for month to month lease, on top of our almost $3000 in monthly rent (2 bedroom). You would think management would work with us a little bit more on the 30 day notice in which we are really in a bind of putting in because of the situation as well als offering some kind of compensation to the entire building not to mention all of the money the owners of the building is bringing each month! I am very disappointed with the entire situation and can't wait to move out. As you can see, it's all about the dollar dollar bill and nothing to do with customer/resident service. Concerned resident!

When this is brought to managements attention the only resolution seems to be purchasing a garage (when available) for $99. No thanks. The walls are also EXTREMELY THIN. Every time my upstairs neighbors decide to get it on... I have to leave my bedroom to get away from the sex sounds lol. The entire community is pet friendly and tenants may or may not clean up after pet messes. With other options available I would strongly recommend another community.

Robert C. 0 1…read more 2 minutes ago Wow, where do I begin???? I moved here with the best of intentions... but you know what they say about the best of intentions... lemme start with that the management company A&G is headed by a woman by the name of Shelly Gilden. Ms. Gilden claims by her website her company is family owned and they are a family values company ..., all the while her management team or certain individuals on her team destroy families lives in the communities they manage. As a Marine you learn quick there is no I in team, there is no us or them ... just one team. So Ms. Gilden must take responsibility for her and her teams decisions. I have lived at the Chapel Manor apts. for less than a year and immediately after I got into my first floor apartment I noticed there was a plumbing problem ... sink and tub would not drain - one would think that these things would have been handled before a new tenant moves in, but hey I'm easy going and stuff happens so I put in a fix it request ... a month later someone showed to fix it,... supposedly!took the second guy only 2 weeks to get here to fix it properly.. so I had that goin for me. the grounds are manicured and truthfully it's the neighbors and people here that make it nice. As stuff started to go south quickly in my unit I realized there really was no one here managing the property or at least you couldn't get anyone on a phone or to respond to you. Fast forward around Dec 21st time frame was my first flood ... April 1st time frame 2nd flood ... 3rd flood around June 19th... so through 3 floods and multiple maintenance requests ( un-answered ) I remained very nice and understanding.. all the while trying to contact someone at the helm here, even drive over to the maintenance hut where the workers congregate... nope, nada, zilch no luck!!! It was at this time having just recovering from a second spine and spinal chord surgery realized obviously there is an existing problem with this unit. Loss of water privileges 2x soon followed and then my toilet and tub over flowing several times with feces, urine, sludge and a substance I'm not quite sure what it is yet.. sewage basically!!! Finally the neighbor who's apartment floods everytime mine does gave me the email of the new or covering Manager ( Lauren Parker ) remember that name folks ... Ms. Parker upon hearing my concerns gave me the stock answers one would think a defensive person would give. Citing nothing was out of the ordinary in her estimations.?????????????????????????? Less than a year here 3 floods 3 back ups of sewage ... loss of water 2x and a host of other problems mind you... now a Marine I'm used to doing without or very little, buuuuttttt.. this was a bit much and btw I'm a dream tenant.. rent always on time if not early, anally clean and very respectful to rules and my neighbors. I requested they move me at there expense to a unit that is on a second level and clean the carpets in my home in the meantime from the floods ... her solution was to move me at my expense and she would get the carpet cleaned... hmmm.. well I wanted a sound apt so I said yes... NEVER heard from her again ... oh and carpets never cleaned! Going about my life was going to revisit this at renewal time, fast forward yup you guessed it another sewage back up this time having to tear apart the kitchen to get through the wall into the bathroom to replace pipes in the bathroom... we'll obviously not sitting well with my having had more maintenance crew in my home then visitors I tried to reach Lauren again .. I seem to always mange to call when she was in a meeting or just leaving... said she'd call at 930 am and yup you guessed it no phone call!! Well one would think by the bio Ms. Gilden has on her A&G website that she would be appalled,, ??? We'll see if you call there corporate office ya know the one with all the down home family values .. you get disconnected ... hung up on .. or put into a voicemail .. see Lauren had been a meeting for a week at this time .. I'm sure she was very tired! To make this long story very short I was forced to get a lawyer ... once they were made aware of that I was given the notice I was being evicted for violating lease agreement for foul language ... which I assure you is untrue .. so now at this time my dwelling is being leveraged against me for complaining about a lemon apt!!!! Which is illegal.... Renter beware these people want your money not your concern.... Will not take complaints well and will own nothing!!!!!! Rent no where A&G manages ... read the reviews for all there properties .. they use bias and thug like tactics to keep their tenants in line!!!! Not to mention the incompetency of the likes of Lauren Parker. She shouldn't manage a 7/11 not to mention a property where people's quality of life are at stake.... Good luck read reviews!!! The good ones are only good because they haven't had to rely on the stafff .. the minute you do, you will be a victim like me!
