Yesterday I went in and asked for an arrangement of Gerber Daisies for my wife for "Administrative Professionals Day" which is so often overlooked these days. This morning, just as promised, a very beautiful arrangement was delivered and I now have a very happy wife. Bottom-line, they are wonderful, honest and talented craftspeople who really go the extra mile for you. I was hired to do a wedding and the rehearsal dinner one weekend. The Mother of the Groom was attempting to top the wedding. She hated the Bride's style and had decided to do the rehearsal dinner as a complete contrast to the actual wedding. Strangely enough, she hired some of the same vendors that were going to be used for the wedding. The Enchanted Florist was one of them. The Bride had complementing tones of light pinks, lavenders and chocolate brown for her wedding. Sweet smelling lilacs, luscious, full bodied peonies and gorgeous tulips were used. The ballroom smelled fresh and delicious from these lovely flowers. Complementing them were votive candles highlighted with pink glass. The room glowed romantically. The flowers were stunning. In contrast, the Mother chose a stark museum location for the rehearsal dinner. Her colors were red, black and white. It was reminiscent of the 80s. She had cocktail napkins covered in red hearts and white illet overlays on the tables. 105 guests out the 140 attending the wedding were invited to this event. The flowers were beautiful - and completely different than the Bride's choices. There were two large arrangements of red tulips and red Gerber daisies. On each table there were three small arrangements - the largest was red tulips, followed by a smaller arrangement of red Gerbers, and the last was a small bud vase filled with a single red rose head. There were also votives on the tables with red glass. The Enchanted Florist had done a wonderful job. At the end of the night, the florist's assistant arrived to collect a few items to use for the wedding the next day. Little did he (or I) know we would be recruited for delivery duty. The Mother announced that we were to deliver all of the flowers to the hotel to be used for the brunch the day after the wedding (she flitted off before we could protest). With 10 tables, there were 30 vases of flowers plus the two enormous arrangements. Neither the florist's assistant nor I had a delivery truck or the appropriate transport for all these flowers since it was demanded at the end of the night. My heart stuck in my throat as I imagined broken glass and water filling my car. The assistant was a trooper. He helped us clear out the flowers, including the two large arrangements. He also seemed put out by the situation, but was still very nice about helping us. When we arrived at the hotel, the concierge's eyes bulged as the flowers rolled in. Apparently, they weren't prepared for so many flowers either. Their solution was to put the flowers in a ballroom and turn on the air conditioning. I'm not sure if the flowers survived with little water and only air conditioning to Sunday, but they sure were gorgeous on that Friday night! read more

Was not impressed with a birthday flower arrangement I received from The Enchanted Florist. My birthday happens to fall a few days after Valentine's day (yes, I am just now getting a minute to review this place) and in my many years of birthdays, it is very obvious when a florist has used leftover V-day flowers to make my birthday arrangements. For this reason, the person who ordered this arrangement (and has done most of the ordering over the years) knows my preferred flowers are not roses, or any red/pink bouquet whatsoever. This person usually specifies 'no red'. I received the arrangement, it was mostly red roses, tulips, pink hydrangea and other V-day looking flowers. When the flowers started to wither and droop the very next day I knew they were not fresh....a telltale sign that they were indeed V-day leftovers. I attached photos which show a major difference on day 1 vs. day 2...particularly the dried up rose in the middle, the red color scheme and the excessive use of "filler" greenery. I never got around to calling the store. Its too much effort towards something that was supposed to be a kind gesture and I didn't want the person who sent them to feel bad about their purchase so I just let it slide. However I will keep this in mind when I need flowers in the future. I saw the receipt and know this friend paid around $65-70 for this arrangement. read more

The Enchanted Florist is like a set from a Julia Roberts movie. Fresh, perfect looking flowers are kept at their prime in an adorable, chilled room with french doors and a hand-painted sign that reads, "Flowers". There are delicious smelling, high fragrence soy candles, really cute doodads of all kinds (check out the string, key-chain size dolls - think mini voodoo buddy with good intentions and a cheeky factor of 1,000). The arrangements are so gorgeous, so affordable - I saw a HUGE spray that went for $125 - something you would see on the internet for at least three times that amount. Plus, they work with you. Come in and ask what they have (yes, they will have it) and leave with an appointment to pick up some beautiful. I'm definately using them in the future. read more

I have to hand it to these guys... they did a fabulous job on the last minute bridesmaid bouquet I ordered. My wedding is in 2 months, but my bridesmaid passed away suddenly and tragically. I wanted her to have her bouquet, because every good bridesmaid always deserves her bouquet. With how distraught and stressed I was from her death, they had it handled. I called, quickly told them what I wanted.. the funeral was in 2 days on an early Friday morning. I had to pick up the bouquet by 9am, which is what time they open. I went there early, hoping to run in and out the second they opened so I could be at the funeral on time. They were there at a quarter to 9, opened the doors for me, put the bouquet in a to-go box and I was on my way. They had already taken care of my payment when I called previously. They really had made it so simple, it was if they knew this was something I shouldn't need to worry about during my time of grieving.... And the bouquet was beautiful and perfect. Kim did my wedding many moons ago. A colleague from out-of-state had asked for a floral recommendation for her daughter's wedding, and I immediately thought of Kim and the extraordinary job she did at my wedding. Kim was the ONLY florist who designed a chuppah the way I wanted it. Almost everyone else offered overly-large birdcage-looking ones, and I couldn't stand them. I wanted a less-is-more approach because the Library (room) at the Riviera Country Club was small. In addition, I worked with Kim on designing the centerpieces very tall and on bases because the ballroom had extremely high ceilings, and I wanted height. I was in search of a florist in the North Hollywood area to do what I considered a rush job. Living in Atlanta I had no choice but to depend upon proximity to the intended recipient and whatever reviews that I could find. I called and spoke to Brooke, and told her what I was looking for, which in my case was a combination housewarming gift and an apology of sorts to someone for having done something I should not have done. I wanted something very pretty yet also unique and non-standard. Brooke understood and guided me the process of creating an arrangement based upon my responses to her insightful questions. it was about 8am local time, and I asked for a morning delivery, which they were unable to accommodate due to a rather full morning delivery schedule. However, she promised that they would do their best to get it out asap. Within about 3 hours not only had Brooke emailed me a picture of a beautiful flower arrangement but informed me that it was already on its way to be delivered. For what I received the price was exceptionally reasonable, and the service was nothing short of outstanding. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

I'm sorry Doreen had poor customer service. I'm afraid I have to agree with her. On Feb. 3, I went to Dis-enchanted Florist, based on the positive reviews and relative proximity to my home, for an arrangement for my mother's memorial. My mom loved carnations, so I ordered something with blue and white carnations as the central feature. I SPELLED my first and last name as it was typed into the computer, and got the person's name who waited on me. I was told I would have to pick the bouquet up two days in advance because, "On Valentine's Day, our prices go way up." Also, because of the special color of the carnations, they needed to be special ordered so time was a factor. So, two days ago, after picking up my mother's ashes, I called to ask when I could pick up my order. The woman on the other end of the phone checked, and said they didn't have an order for me! Two people said the same, and then I was told, "We can take an order now." I decided at that moment to go with another florist a friend had recommended, and hung up. Yesterday, I got a call from Dis-enchanted Florist, "reminding" me of the pick-up I was "supposed" to have yesterday. I became irritated, needless to say, and related the whole saga to the caller. Their explanation was that my name had been spelled wrong. I went there, parked with difficulty a block down (Hollywood Way is a madhouse in the middle of the day), and got a mediocre arrangement with a few puny carnations lost among other flowers. I demanded, and got, a significant discount, since I had already ordered a replacement arrangement from the other florist. One more stressful thing with which to deal in putting this event together.... Hopefully, the arrangement from Florist 2 will arrive this AM on time, and will fulfill my expectations. I was going to do my own flowers for my wedding-- I had gone downtown, looked at prices, and kind of decided that although I love flowers, I just didn't have it in my budget to get them professionally done. My wedding planner convinced me to go to check out enchanted florist & I'm so happy I did. I told Kim exactly what I wanted and when she quoted me the price for literally an overload of flowers, I was shocked that it was basically the same as I would have paid for the flowers downtown (& it included delivery & set up)! Kim was one of the few wedding vendors I felt completely at ease with throughout the whole process. When I visited the shop a month before the wedding to check out an example table arrangement I was floored at how gorgeous it was, I literally couldn't stop smiling. Day of, Kim & her crew showed up on time with the most amazing flowers I've ever seen. She was able to put in everything I asked for (a hodgepodge of my fave flowers that she made look amazing) and completely surprised me by adding orange blossoms to my bouquet, which I had asked for & she said she would look for but warned that they would be near impossible to find. And the icing on the cake was that at the wedding she handed me back a check because the flowers didn't end up costing as much as she had quoted- seriously, who does that!?! I was blown away at the integrity and awesomeness of that small gesture. Hopefully I won't be getting married again, but I'd 100% recommend you go check out enchanted florist for your wedding. I did receive your message and our house was very nicely air conditioned. I noticed most of the blubs were very soft and you can see they way they did not last. There was plenty of water and room cool as I keep the house 75 degrees. I know how to care for flowers very well so they had a fresh trim at an angle. Really cant make up for that day, they were my anniversary flowers and you can see what they looked like that the next day. I had wanted to get a flower arrangement for a family member this Easter. I had seen an arrangement they did a few weeks before and thought it was beautiful which is why I wanted this specific florist to do the arrangement. I had taken pictures of that arrangement because I wanted the exact same one. When I contacted the florist I sent them pictures I had taken of it and they said they would be able to complete the order just like the picture of a previous arrangement they did. I wanted the same flowers and color scheme shown in the picture as well as wanting roses. I specifically mentioned that as well in the email. However when the flowers were the delivered it was a completely different arrangement than what I had requested. The flowers were not the same ones used previously, or within the same color scheme. It was an entirely different arrangement that what was in the picture and what was agreed upon in the email. It was as if they made the arrangement without looking at the pictures in the email or reading my comments about the color scheme. There were also barely any roses, I specifically asked for roses to be one of the most used flowers in the arrangement, but there were not many used. Lastly some of the flowers had smudge marks and appeared dirty. Overall I was very disappointed, I had specifically come to this florist with this request because of a previous arrangement they had done just a few weeks prior. Pictures and details were sent regarding the arrangement and was told they would be able to complete the requests however, a completely opposite arrangement was made. This wasn't what I was paying for, I had paid for what was agreed upon. I will definitely not be buying flowers here again due to the fact that they could not complete an order with a picture examples they previously did after saying there would not be a problem. read more

I ordered flowers for my brothers funeral they had wrote his name down wrong and when delivered to cemetery they never made it to his services. I found this place on the internet trying to send flowers to my aunt in Burbank, CA. I like to support local businesses and this place seemed to be the right one and gave it a try. I had the best experience from the beginning when I ordered to the end when it was delivered and best of all my aunt was mesmerized with the arrangement!
