We came here for my friend's birthday, and I enjoyed our experience. I'm not typically a big fan of escape rooms or puzzles, but the game host made it fun for us especially when we were stuck on clues. We did The Heist, which wasn't as complicated as I expected which was nice, and it moved along pretty quickly since we had a big group solving together. The front desk offers parking vouchers if you ask, which was another bonus! We ended up completing our escape room in under 15 minutes, which was exciting to know we were on the faster end of solving the room, but also left us kind of floundering for what to do next around the battery since we thought it would take much longer. I personally have no complaints though as someone who does not like puzzles nor staying in a room like that for a prolonged period of time, 15min for me was perfect. If you prefer a longer stay, I'd recommend booking for a room with more difficult escape room levels. Overall, it was a very fun experience, and I would recommend it, both for people who enjoy puzzles and people who aren't as fond of them like me!

My two sons and I attempted to do a room we were told we could do with just the three of us. There was so much to do there was no way just the three of us could finish it. It was fun and well put together.... We tried our best but we needed at least 2 more to really have had a chance. There needed to be one group working on one clue while another worked on a diff clue. A few more minds would have been good as well. One nice thing is they did give unlimited help. The game was a blast and we had a ton of fun... but we were a long way from finishing when the time ran out. I'd love to try another one but we need to have a couple more people with us.

We had a great time! We did the 4th grade classroom and enjoyed it. It was quite challenging and the clues and decor were fun.

Wow! Excellent fun. We did the gold rush room and we escaped with 18 minutes to spare. It was 4 of us and we got teamed with two other people who were so fun Tom play with. Great fun.

So this is our second time coming here as a family first time my wife, daughter, and I and we did the Hold Rush, escape room privately and we complete it with time to spare... this go around we did it with an additional six people that we were not ready for and we did not complete it. Definitely harder to put clues together with people you don't know when it's a good time meeting new people and enjoy new experiences my daughter and wife and I are definitely code, crackers, and spies at heart so you can't hide nothing from us we were definitely the alphas and the strongest link in the chain, but we still didn't make it, lol. Definitely check it out. Great time with the family, great friend experience, and also a great team building experience. for your first time pick an easy one.

This escape room is located in Battery Park. It was a GREAT experience. We ESCAPED!! The escape room host was nice & providee us with the necessary clues. We completed The Playground Escape Room. I highly recommend this location. Do it & have fun with it. Parking is available on the street with a meter & also you can park on the Parking Deck. PARKING is free for up to 3 hrs. Parking on the Red Deck will give you a 2 block walk. You cannot bring any food or beverages into the escape rooms, they do have a fridge to store them in at the front. You can also place any bags in the cubbies inside the Escape Room.

Pros: Customer oriented/sweet staff. Clean. Mask required unless it's just your group in the escape room. We picked the Playground & it was SO fuuun!! We needed about 30 more minutes, but we still enjoyed ourselves! Cons: Wish they had more time slot options, but I definitely recommend this spot & will be back!

The girls are visiting Atlanta for a leadership conference. This was one of our scheduled downtime fun activities. They all loved it! Super organized! Total bang for our buck!

We have done a few escape rooms around town, but this one is the best!! We picked the Gold Rush room for the 6 people in our group. (made reservation online and signed waiver before we arrived- super easy) No spoilers on the absolute thrill we had in less than one hour- yes, we escaped. Thanks to Felicia for the tips when we were stuck. (Our guide who watches as group goes through the rooms... tips given via tv screen) A definite MUST if you are visiting the Battery!

We, Team Bad Math, successfully solved the hardest room, Prison Break (rated 9/10 in difficulty) in 59:30 (30 sec left) on June 20, 2019.

The Escape Game, an escape room chain with locations across the country, opened its first Georgia location at The Battery in April 2019. Atlanta has a mix of escape room chains and independent businesses. The Escape Game is one of the bigger chains to open in Atlanta and the company continues to expand. So far, our escape room team has successfully completed two rooms here, Prison Break and Special Ops: Mysterious Market. We enjoyed the rooms so much that we already purchased discounted gift cards to return and play two more rooms: The Heist and Gold Rush. Currently, I think this is one of the better escape room businesses in Atlanta, but it's also the most expensive. My first experience with The Escape Game was in Nashville (https://bit.ly/2JVkc4j) which is where the company started. At the time of writing this review, I've played a total of 61 escape rooms, mostly in the Atlanta area. I've seen a lot when it comes to room and puzzle designs, from amateur-looking productions to bigger-budget movie-studio-quality sets. The Escape Game Atlanta leans towards the latter. In general, the production quality of escape rooms in town continues to rise. Competition is good. Right now, The Escape Game Atlanta offers five rooms. In order, from least difficult to most difficult (difficulty rated by the company), they are: 1. Playground - 12 capacity, 6/10 difficulty 2. Gold Rush - 8 capacity, 7/10 difficulty 3. The Heist - 8 capacity, 8/10 difficulty 4. Special Ops: Mysterious Market - 8 capacity, 8/10 difficulty 5. Prison Break - 8 capacity, 9/10 difficulty If you want to play a room with only your group and no random strangers, you have to fully book out a room. Current pricing at The Escape Game Atlanta is $34.99 per person per room. After taxes and fees, it works out to be $37.09 per person. So if you want to book out one of the 8-person rooms, it would cost roughly $300. When I played the "Nashville" room at The Escape Game Nashville, less than a year prior to our first room here, it cost $31.99 per person (about $35 after taxes and fees). The Escape Game brand is the priciest of the escape rooms I've played. Usually, my friends and I spend less than $30 (and many times, under $20) per person per room after various discounts and deals, but not many discounts and deals exist for The Escape Game. In order to get a discount to The Escape Game Atlanta, you must first play a room. After that, you unlock two offers (or at least, we did). They are: 1. Book one of the next available rooms immediately for 40% off. 2. Get 15% off gift cards and merchandise from the store before leaving. We took advantage of the 15%-off discount and purchased gift cards which we immediately turned around and used to book our next room on a future date. So instead of $37.09 per person after taxes and fees, our next room was $31.53 per person after taxes and fees. At The Escape Game, you get what you pay for. Compared to a lot of the rooms I've played, The Escape Game's rooms are higher quality and truer to life. Also, the design and build-outs of their check-in and seating areas are nicer and they seem to do a great job with branding and marketing with good-looking, professionally-staged photos and even online 3D models of the rooms (I haven't seen any other escape room business do that). The Escape Game follows the conventional escape room rules. You have 60 minutes to solve a room and you get the standard 3 clues. You can ask for extra clues, but it's unclear to me how your time is affected. Here are my spoiler-free thoughts on the two rooms we've played thus far. [Prison Break - solved with 30 seconds left on the clock] Prison Break is The Escape Game's hardest room and we almost lost it. It was a little bit stressful, but exciting. What I liked most about this room (and others like it) is your group is split into separate jail cells to start. This forces the groups in each cell to work together to break out. The setting is 1950s so not only is the prison dirty and grimey, but it feels old-timey too. Cody checked us in and Ross was our gamemaster for this one. They were great. [Special Ops: Mysterious Market - solved with 12:24 left on the clock] In Special Ops: Mysterious Market, you and your group play as field agents investigating a street market in North Africa. This room takes a cool, unexpected turn. There are videos with some decent, though at times corny, acting and good production values (especially for an escape room). What impressed me the most was all the technology. In general, The Escape Game's rooms are not cheap to build. They obviously pour a lot of money into each new location. Jaime was our gamemaster for this room. She was super friendly and nice. Parking at The Battery Red, Green, and Purple Decks is free for the first 4 hours on non-game/event days and first 2 hours on game/event days. I recommend parking in the Battery Red Deck (navigate your GPS there) and exiting on level 3 to find The Escape Game.

This place was fun! I tried the gold rush room which is a level 7 of 10. Do not hesitate to ask for help. It is hard has heck! Go with a group of 4 or so.. each person can do something to help you get through it. Definitely would recommend if you have an hour to waste... afterwards.. many good food places around to eat!

So fun! Loved it! We were warmly and enthusiastically greeted and felt welcomed and comfortable. Great lounge area overlooking the Battery while you wait. I wasn't sure what to expect, because each game is unique and everyone's experience is different. I'm not gonna lie, it was not easy. But CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! We had 3 teams of 8. Our room was the Gold Rush. I won't give anything away. I will tell you our room host was Richard and he was really helpful to us first timers. You have an hour to escape the room. I was worried about claustrophobia for some but it wasn't like that at all. Plenty of room. You are given a few clues which are helpful. Adrenaline rush was fantastic! Everyone had a unique contribution to help us solve our way through. Logic, math and common sense. And we did it with over a minute to spare! You get a sticker proving you did it and if you want, you can buy merchandise to further brag about your brilliance. You HAVE to try it. I will go back, for sure! Thanks to the entire staff for a great, fun afternoon!!! You guys and girls rock!!!

    Finding the gold!

Best experience we have ever had! The hubby and I did the Gold Rush room for our honeymoon and felt it was the best way to celebrate! Our game master was Mickey and he was so helpful to nudge us in the right direction when we needed it but not overly giving us clues so we could still figure it out ourselves. All the staff were super kind and friendly, but definitely cross your fingers to get Mickey as your GM. The room was super immersive and fun, some puzzles definitely needed creative thinking but wasn't overly complex. Would 100% recommend and come back!

Our time on the clock when we finished Gold Rush!

The 43$ per person price is kind of steep. I couldn't image trying to take s family of 4 to experience this.

We had so much fun here, even solved a puzzle in an unintentional manner because we didn't realize we were given a much easier way.
