She greeted me with a smile and so much enthusiasm. I was looking for a particular pair of glasses and she did everything she could to find them. With luck, we were able to find them. She was willing to assist with any questions or concerns that I might have had and presented everything with a smile. She provided great customer service to me and others in the store. She asked questions and wanted to talk to me with a personal touch and not just a regular customer. I truly appreciate her assistance and entertaining attitude. I'm not from this area so I wanted to get to know the city. while walking around Macys I heard a man behind me talking loud as I turn around I see him and another women looking at me. the man was still speaking to the lady about "that's what they do, they come in here and case the place. they record the cameras and case the store" I looked back again the man and women is still behind me. I continued to walk and found my husband , told him what happened and I wanted to find the guy who said something and confront him. we found him in the women's dept speaking with the same lady. I asked did he work at Macy's he stated he worked at sunglass hut. I asked if the comment he made was directed toward me and if so he had no reason to assume I was casing the store. he became defensive and said the store was robbed an hr prior and his comments were about that. He laughed and scuffed as if he was appalled that even thought that about him. We walked away from him and the lady but to know Im leaving my son in this city for 4yrs and to know there are people who have the same ideology as your employee is frightening. Train your employees to do better and if he was so sure that is what I was doing he should stand on his truth when he was comforted and not lie. I paid $200+ for a full contacts exam in November 2024 to get my prescription refilled for the…read moretotal 1 contacts I have worn for over 3 years already. The doctor confirmed thru the exam my prescription had not changed and gave me the prescription. She suggested I try some different contacts and gave me a sample. I tried them the next day but did not like them and went back to my original total 1's. Now in July I would like to order more of my total ones but Eyeglass World and the doctor will not sign the original prescription unless I pay an ADDITIONAL $200+ for an additional NEW EXAM even though legally the original prescription is good for a year. This is extortion forcing me to PAY for a 2nd another exam. Fraud. Calling my lawyer. Unethical. I am willing to come in for the "follow Up" visit but I refuse to be blackmailed into paying for another exam when clearly this one is good for a full year and it has only been half a year. Total Fraud. They refuse to give me my prescription I PAID FOR ORIGINALLY without paying in FULL again. Horrible Business. Do NOT Recommend. I can see from the reviews this is not the first or second time they have held prescriptions hostage.
