I was offered to buy the vaccination package, which will supposedly include all of the vaccinations for my dog for his life. I was happy to participate in their new program because I'd had such great experiences for the first year. When we went to check out, they charged me for the vaccination package *and* today's vaccination fee. Apparently, if one buys the package, it doesn't count for the current year, or maybe only if your appointment is on the same day as when you buy the package - which is presumably the majority of the people to whom they market the package: those who are getting vaccinations. When I asked for clarification, I was told the charge was correct. I cannot fathom how buying a package which pays for the dog's vaccinations *does not include the dog's vaccination fees*. It's pure dishonest marketing, at the very least. They're already expensive, but if the business practices are honest, and the quality is good, I'm happy to pay a little extra... but if they're not honest? I'll have to take my dogs somewhere else from now on.

How hard is it to put a t shirt into a kennel each day? Especially when it comforts them? 2. I asked that they pay attention to my oldest girl as she doesn't eat when stressed. I gave them canned food to entice her. They only used 1 can and she came home visibly skinnier. 3. When I picked her up. she was also visibly stressed - wet face and hoarse from barking. Could they not call and ask how they could help her? I could have had some anti anxiety medication brought for her. 4. I called several times while away (gave up after I couldn't get through more than once), NO ANSWER AND NO RETURN MESSAGE. the one time they answered when I asked how they were, the worker didn't know what dogs I was talking about. She quickly tried to recover but it was obvious she had no clue. I am so disappointed in the care they DID NOT receive.

Dr…read more Blanchard reassured us about the big cyst on Arrow's elbow (no need to operate ;-) She focused on Arrow's hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (bloody guts), even though she didn't have symptoms when we brought her in. Good thing, because Arrow got sick again the next night - and Dr. Blanchard had prepared us to do what we could for her at home. Mt. View also squeezed our dog in that very morning, treated her with urgent care, and we were able to take her home in a few hours. They called to follow up and make sure Arrow was improving, were available on call, and provided more supplies as soon as we needed them. And this was all during the Xmas-New year holiday week! We really appreciated expert consultations from Dr. Blanchard in person, and from highly skilled vet tech Monica. Thank you to the wonderful vets and techs at Mt. View. We will be back! (In contrast, a different vet in town handed off Arrow's checkout to an inexperienced vet tech who could not answer questions and gave us wrong information. And they charged a LOT more $$$ than Mt. View.)

They said they'd put it in their donations fund for others. All because they wouldn't work with us on a payment plan for the rest. The donation made was500 dollars! They want me to come in for a 3rd round of vaccines and said "it would be taken care of" but then find it will only be "discounted". They MIGHT be competent medical professionals but Alta as a business operation is far from professional and operates like a greasy used car lot. The hospital has a feel of bait and switch. My comment on how expensive it was, was responded to by the staff saying, "you can't put a price on love". What BS. Emotional blackmail apparently is the go-to here when you find out the prices. Go somewhere else people!

They took him in and got him checked in no fuss. They were so caring and helpful. They had an estimate in LITERALLY minutes. Walked us thru the process (of amputation) that our cat would be going thru and gave us through aftercare instructions and what to expect. They even left a little tail nubbin. We can't thank them enough for the work they did, it was so awful and traumatic and they made it as easy of a process as possible.
