I will say that parking is sparse- there are very limited street parking spots and then you will need to park in the deck. It's very family focused. At the center of the village is a courtyard dubbed the "Village Green." Before Covid-19, live music and movie nights were a regular occurrence on the green. Although parking is plentiful (and free!), finding a spot can be challenging during event days. They still host the weekly Farmer's Market on Thursdays from 9am to 12pm and they're starting to bring back more events. The list of restaurants include Nido Cafe, Cinco, Happy Belly, Rick Tanner's, Cherry Street Brewing, Branchwater, Village Italian and an ice cream shop, The Chill Hill most of which if not all, are locally owned. I have been to all of the restaurants at least once in the past 7 years. My top 3 favorites are Nido Cafe, Happy Belly, and Chill Hill. Vickery Village also serves as the neighborhood hub for Vickery, a growing community of beautiful homes with classic architecture. Most of the residents can walk or take their golf carts to the village. Very convenient! I'm seeing more office spaces being built. I look forward to seeing Vickery Village expand!

There are not a lot of shopping options here but it's a great spot for dining and just hanging out in the courtyard green space. Vickery Village is surrounded by condos, townhomes, and single family homes. It's a small town feel as local residents can drive into the village with their golf carts.

This little shop carries planters, silk and plastic arrangements, decor items and furniture. They have small pieces that can sit on tables or larger pieces that can be used to anchor a space or as center pieces. Their furniture options included tables, chests, dressers, bookshelves and other pieces. I love that the store was divided into two sections where you can go off to the left and encounter lighter creamed colored pieces while the darker, (off black) pieces were on the right. side of the store. I am always drawn to black because it is my favorite color and a major feature in my very traditional decor. I love the light contrasting glaze added to the raised portions and edges of the pieces to create a bit of interesting detail. When it comes to furniture, I enjoy using it in unexpected ways and I love the idea of a pink elephant in the room. The pink elephant is that piece that catches everyone's attention while other pieces just fade to the background. These pieces are usually reserved for the more casual areas of my home such as the office and the kitchen area. Those simple bookshelves look great as the perfect place to store shoes. That dresser could be used in an upstairs hallway to store linen and other items. When it comes to home furnishings, think creatively and definitely outside of the box. Definitely worth a look when visiting the antique market.
