There are small 'quiet rooms' to take a call but you cannot rent a conference room for a day. Not much difference from a coffee shop. They made it a point to ask me to put my mask on and wanted visible confirmation it was on when I was the only person in the entire facility in the huge open space and had it down after eating a snack. Apparently freedom of speech was not an expectation either. All other customers were in rented spaces with closed doors. Mind you when I walked in I was not greeted with any enthusiasm or given a tour or shared my options, I had to ask for the wifi password, how to use the coffee machine, etc. The place has no hand sanitizer visibly available throughout the many desks. There are no 6 feet spacing of the chairs in the common areas of any kind nor partitions to keep germs at bay. I was in the facility from opening to closing and never saw a desk wiped down or cleaned. I would recommend they also add basic functionality to make it a turn coworking space like having monitors/pcs (there are none) for rent, providing locker space, having electronic adapters, extenders, and other essentials for those attempting to co-work. This seems like a nice esthetic but little to no financial investment in actual office equipment needs if you are not renting a conference room monthly. To each his own. Instead of putting a highlight on masks, please take more business precautions rather than putting the demand on the client to fight covid.

I say new, but I found out that this place has been here for 4 years. I have passed by it many times and never knew what it was. Great for meeting or even doing a class. I was very impressed. Wifi, small kitchen area, and lots of natural lighting. The staff is very attentive and always willing to help. These folks are DEFINITELY here for small business. Definitely will return and take advantage of this space! LD

Cute place that has a good amount of seating in the back. We got:…read more Grasshopper toast/avocado toast- This was probably our favorite thing and would definitely recommend. It was unique with the different flavors and textures on top that came together really nicely. Almond frangipane scone- I'm not the biggest fan of dried fruit in baked goods, but otherwise thought this was tasty and would want to get a scone/biscuit without dried fruit next time. Would recommend. Cinnamon twist- Tasty! Not mind blowing, but we enjoyed and would get again. Best friend/chocolate chip cookie- Loved that it was crispy on the outside and chewy in the center part and that it used a darker chocolate. Jam sesh- This was not our favorite and we wouldn't get it again. We just didn't think all the flavors worked together. Short + Sweet- The coffee cake was maybe a little overbaked. My friend liked it more than I did, but I didn't feel like I needed to have it again. Overall it's a good place to go with a few people and try a bunch of things and hang out!

The vibe is still effortlessly cozy and creative--flowers, greenery, unusual Christmas gifts, and those little bakery touches that make you want to linger over your latte. This time around, everything felt even better than I remembered. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service had that relaxed but attentive feel. I tried a couple of their seasonal items, and once again the flavors were bright, fresh, and a little unexpected in the best way. Their baked goods are still the standout--beautifully made, not overly sweet & just delicious. It's the kind of place where you can sit with a book, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a slow morning with coffee and something delicious. Consistently great atmosphere, consistently great food, and a place that really gets better with every visit. Why did it take so long to return. I've now placed it in the top of my list for a great coffee spot.

Last night marks the 5th time in recent months that friends and I have gathered here. We like it…read morebecause it's tucked away and sits directly on the river with fantastic water views in every direction. Whether they are trying to or not, they seem to be attracting mostly adults over families with kids. I did not start out liking it for this reason, but I admit it's now among the chief reasons my girlfriends and I enjoy going there. Last night, we were seated outside because they were packed inside, with no tables available and no seats at the bar. This was a first, and I was happy to see them filled. I feel like whoever is managing has the right idea, but even more so, the right staff currently in place to pull off bigger things. I say this because this place has the immediate potential to do an AMAZING OUTDOOR HAPPY HOUR service and make a killing. They already have a huge outside area which also happens to be partially covered, and already manage to get in a largely adult crowd both by car AND boat. The potential reminds me of what Waters Edge at Shem Creek was and how great they were before the new ownership/management takeover. The potential is absolutely here at WRG even if the happy hours only lasted for a couple of hours. Turning to food, I follow this venue on social media. I see the bar food pics and specials and they look epic. I was super excited to finally be able to do a few plate grabs and try stuff out. Given we were seated outdoors, I asked about their website's advertised bar food menu. When we asked, we were told that the bar menu was only available at the indoor bar despite the website saying otherwise. We also looked around for an outside bar but did not see one, so that is why we assumed "outside bar" meant all of the outside. We remained seated outside and ended up ordering from their main dinner menu. We enjoyed the Fried Green Tomato Caprese appetizer ($14), an order of (unadvertised) garlic bread ;-), Flounder Bites ($16), and a special Chocolate Cinnamon Bread Pudding. Everything was good. I won't hype it because it was not great, just good. The Caprese was the only confusing dish, as it served as something more closely resembling (and tasting like) a bruschetta, but you do receive a large portion. The wines were half decent pours at $8 a glass for their house Pinot Grigio. One friend ordered a liquor drink, which she said was tasty; however, it was not what she ordered. We think she was misdelivered the wrong drink altogether. With a few tweaks and menu changes, the addition of that 'ghost bar' to the outside patio, and hiring additional staff, there are big things ahead for this place in the not-too-distant future. I hope I can come back by summer and give them more love and more stars.
