That's even more than my local women's club raised (through donations and fundraising only) for the same period. The store is neatly organized, and the prices are great. The day I stopped in, they were having a half-off sale on their women's clothing, and I was able to find several things that I liked. They also have a variety of housewares, cookware, linens, shoes, and decor. They even have a roomy fitting room to try on clothes. Note that they don't have any men's clothing. All of their items are donated, and many were higher-end brands. I found several Loft and Talbots tops and dresses that I had to purchase. Village Thrift is also fully run by volunteers who are friendly and happy to be there. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in town!

Looks like a dress shirt but feels like an Under Armour t-shirt. They are the most comfortable dress and business casual shirts I've ever worn. They don't wrinkle and could be considered a traveler shirt as well. I'm hoping they start offering these in more detailed dress shirt sizing rather than just S, M, L, etc. Think they would be a hit. At the end of the day, the customer service is the best here, and the prices and selection (even if you have to work with their staff to find your sizes in some cases) are great reasons to add this store as a regular stop in Blowing Rock.
