I was looking for a fabric shop which are few and far between nowadays. I was going to go to Covina so I searched this area and it was perfect. I wanted to buy ribbon various color sizes and types. When I walked towards the back of the store to look at the ribbon, I was flabbergasted!!! my eyes open so wide my mouth dropped open. I had just stepped into ribbon heaven. I came away with maybe 20 different ribbons, maybe 5 yards each and $48 bill. Well worth it. I wanted various types to make ribbon book markers. I will post a picture so you could see how beautiful they came out. I will be back with a pocket full of money to buy more ribbon. read more

Love this family owned fabric shop! The owners are super friendly and helpful. Prices are great. I come in here often to buy fabric, notions like zippers, thread, elastic, or decorative lace or buttons. They also have a pretty large selection of upholstery fabrics to choose from including faux leathers and suedes. The only downside is that they don't carry any options for quilters. I also enjoy quilting ( and don't like shopping online ) and I miss having a store I can go into to buy quilting fabric and batting. Although I'm pretty sure I saw a roll or two of batting the other day I was there. But they might only carry a standard weight. Other than this, this store is definitely worth a visit & I guarantee you will find something you'll like. read more

One of the best fabric and accessory stores in the area!!! I used to frequent the mission tiki swap meet for my cheap fabric but when they shut down I was so lucky I found this place. If you're a creative worker who doesn't need yards and yards of fabric and is looking for just a cheap bundle of scrap, this is the place for you! They have an entire mound of extra scraps super cheap. Also as you can tell from the pictures, the store is just filled with any kind of material you can imagine. Went in for some upholstery fabric to recover a sofa. The owner Sandra was very welcoming and excited to hear about my project. She pulled two or three fabrics which was hard to choose, but I picked one. Pricing was great. They also have garment fabrics, buttons, zips, leather hides, ribbons, trims and threads. Oh and don't forget the remnant bins - $2 per yard. Super nice family, lots of beautiful fabrics. Now that Joann's, $2 Fabric store and Big Y are all gone, this is my go-to fabric store. Could use more lighting, and some fabrics are hard to pull out, but other than that I loved it! read more

I am making a very slow foray into sewing. This project was for my daughter who needed a princess themed skirt for her dance class. All I was missing was bejeweled trim and other sparkly notions for the edge of her dress. Short of going to the fabric district in Downtown L.A., I looked for something that fit the bill that was nearby -- and The Fabric Shop came up in my search. The store is located just east of Cal Poly Pomona and it is nestled in the corner of a cozy strip mall with a variety of offerings. Once you walk into the store, it's easy to forget where you are, as you are surrounded floor to ceiling with fabric and notions of all types. The staff was super helpful and encouraging. I really appreciated how well I was tended to -- the clerk even offered me some ideas for trim that I hadn't even considered. Trim ranged from $1.00 - $4.00 for one to three yards -- a definite deal when you consider what retail craft stores charge for their wares. I regret not coming here first for the fabric as I am sure I'd have gotten a great deal for that. Next time...for sure! This store is a hidden gem!! Came to visit this store for the first time today. They have everything you can possibly think of when it comes to fabric. Finally don't have to drive all the way to LA! The staff were so kind and helpful. I showed them some flowers I was trying to match and they pulled out so many options for colors and materials. Aside from having a great experience, the prices were insane! I was expecting to pay way more! I got 32 yards for less than $150. Can't get that anywhere else. If anyone needs to get their cushion covers (or anything else) repaired, go to The Fabric Shop!!! This God-sent gem was recommended to me and I'd like to believe that I'm their #1 customer now. (lol jk but I am there multiple times a month) I sell refurbished couches, so the majority of my visits are due to zipper replacement. However... I had fraying on two of my cushion covers. They recommended that I order a few yards and they'll redo the covers for me. Wow, they did not disappoint AND they finished in a timely manner too. Our neighbor was cleaning out her garage and she gave us a 100 yr old chair that used to be her Grandmother's. We wanted to restore it, and after having some structural repairs done to it, we took it to The Fabric Shop in Pomona for reupholstery. They have a huge selection of fabrics and the employees are very helpful in finding whatever you are looking for. We selected the fabric and dropped off our chair. It took awhile to get finished, but it was well worth the wait! This chair came out beyond anything we expected. It looks amazing and will be in our family for another 100 years! We stopped here to look at the fabrics & we were helped by the owner & her daughter.They found this nice off white linen fabric. We also had a side chair and they suggested a really nice fabric & made a back pillow out of the off white linen fabric. Also made him sofa pillows.
