If you must know, I decided to finally pull the trigger and get my lips surgically altered. Yes, that is right - I touched my face for the first time after 35 years ! The procedure is called the bullhorn lip lift. This is where they remove excess tissue from underneath your nose, lifting the upper lip for a more luscious pout, while reducing the size of the nose to lip space, giving a more youthful appearance while allowing more teeth to show. What I really wanted was a fuller top lip with a more pronounced shape to be in proportion with the bottom lip, which is exactly what I received and more! Everything looks so natural and matches my face beautifully! Dr Altman is truly an artist; not only did he modify my lip precisely as requested, he made the most perfect, practically invisible incision that matches the fold under my nose. I am ecstatic with my results ! I should also mention that Dr Altman is a phenomenal doctor! He was patient with me, understanding of what I wanted and communicated with me every step of the way. I would always question every little thing at all crazy random times and Dr Altman would always respond with knowledge and reason while educating me on the process itself, as well as, reassured me he would make it exactly what I wanted and never made me feel uncomfortable for asking. I have never had a more attentive doctor that genuinely cares for your physical and mental well being. He undoubtedly is the best ! After my lip filler procedure, I was unhappy with the outcome and ultimately required dissolving treatment. I contacted LaserAway multiple times in an attempt to reach a fair resolution. I worked directly with a director named Bryan Dickerson who offered half of the value of the syringe as store credit. However, despite my follow-up emails accepting the offer and requesting confirmation of the terms, I never received the promised follow-up or final resolution. I also disputed the charge with my bank, but the dispute was denied, leaving me to absorb the full cost of an experience that I believe was not handled appropriately. The photos I am sharing are of my own results following treatment. They reflect my personal experience at this location. If you are considering lip fillers here, I encourage you to carefully review my photos and make your own informed decision before choosing Gen as your injector. I gave LaserAway every opportunity to resolve this matter privately. Since they failed to do so, I am now sharing my experience publicly so others can make an informed decision. I even went to your Stamford, Connecticut location, where the injector asked me, "Who did your lips?" When I told her they were done at your Englewood, New Jersey location, her reaction was, "Whoa." I just replied, "Yeah... I know." It was honestly embarrassing knowing the work had been done by another LaserAway location. What makes this even more frustrating is that after my first procedure, I was told to get more filler because it would correct the lumping. When that didn't work, I was later told that my lips simply "didn't accept the filler." When I confronted Dr Hong and the staff he just said he made a mistake with the procedure and brushed off. After nearly 7 months I still have bad wart like bumps with bad discoloration. Needlessly said I look much much worse now than before with bad permanent skin condition. Dr Hong is an internist not a dermatologist. He and the nurses who perform some of the procedures appear not too qualified and knowledgeable. They should study more about some of the procedures and less of money making. There should be restrictive laws and prohibit some careless practices done by money hungry doctors and nurses.
