They were absolutely delicious and tender, and so flavorful They always cook my bacon correctly and my eggs. If I ever have to come back to Houston, god for bed, I will definitely be back at mamas place to eat. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, crispy hash browns and toast. The eggs were way overcooked and terrible. The toast was just warm bread. The hash browns were a patty (yuk), not what was pictured on the menu (normal hash browns). The chips and warm salsa here are amazing, with one exception. I had to remove as much cilantro as I could with my fork before I could eat it. The salsa tastes like cilantro, and not salsa. It was worth the trouble though. Delicious, once I cleaned out most of the cilantro. I don't know why Mexican restaurants have to abuse cilantro. The one thing that impressed us the most was the service. These folks know how to take care of customers. They were very friendly and attentive. We left a 50% tip! The breakfast knocked my rating down to a four.
