Fresh mozzarella bruschetta
Kathy P.

Moved to Henry Co just a few months ago and have been trying different places. Found this place on Yelp and we thought we would try it. When we pulled in to the parking lot (on a Wednesday early evening) we weren't sure if they were open. When we walked in we knew this was going to be an amazing experience. Not a lot of tables but very quaint. Red and white checkered tablecloths with nice table setting. The very extensive regular menu along with the special menu made it very difficult to choose. We started with the bruschetta and crabmeat stuffed mushrooms Worcestershire butter sauce. They were both absolutely the best! We used the homemade breads to sop up the juices. The main course... I chose the brisket with pierogi and asparagus. Tracy chose the Linguine Lorelei. I cannot even describe how perfectly cooked it all was. I so badly wanted to try dessert but was way too full. To say that we will be back is an understatement.

This is the best hidden gem i have found since moving back to this area. You have to try this place, incredible !

World class dining in the quaint town of Henry, TN. Chef is cranking out some phenomenal culinary creations like dill pickle biscuits, root beer spiked sweet cornbread and some incredible steaks. Make a drive to visit this place. The portions are huge and it beats any name brand steakhouse.

The service was really good. Very attentive servers. The food was average. The salmon was a little overcooked (pictured) and was supposed to come with a cream sauce and spinach, instead it came with broccoli rabe and some sort of spaghetti in vodka sauce. The shrimp and scallop linguine came without scallops. Once we brought that to the attention of the server, they brought out a bowl of scallops that were overcooked. The shrimp in the dish was also overcooked. The fundido was good, if not a little bland, but only came with 6 small slices of bread, some of which were untoasted, some that were over toasted, and 1 that was perfect. The fundido (which is advertised as having italian sausage in it) had exactly 3 pieces of sausage, roughly the size of a penny in the entire dish. The lasagne was very good, with lots of creamy ricotta. The tiramisu for dessert was good. LOTS of coffee soaking into those Lady fingers, which is my favorite part.

Our friend's stuffed lobster dish. She loved it.

Our dear friends brought us here during Valentines Day weekend. The Family Table had their V-Day specials which we reserved. We were blown away at how good the food was here. We have traveled all over the world, Europe, South Africa, Australia ect....so we know and have experienced some amazing food. We shared the Tomahawk steak for two and it was mouth watering. The only downside is we had no room for the delicious looking desserts. We certainly will be back.....fine dining in Henry

The food quality and the amazing service is way above par for this market. We drive from Mayfield Ky, always worth the trip.

The service was excellent for an early lunch. First time to eat there and wasn't disappointed. I rate the food at 3.5 and the service at 5. To start with, you are served a small warm loaf of soft Italian bread with 2 dipping sauces- melted garlic butter and herb olive oil. We ordered from the lunch menu and salad comes with it. It was an Italian salad much like Olive Garden and served family style. Next time I'll ask for the dressing on the side or for light dressing because it had too much dressing on it for me. The house made creamy Italian dressing is tasty. We then had lasagna and steak bites sautéed with mushrooms in a bed of rice pilaf. We agreed we would be back but would try something different on the menu. I raked the thick topping of cheese off my lasagna and the steak was too salty likely from marinade. I want to have lunch there again and try something different things on the menu. Did I mention the portions are very large and the prices are not? Good value.

When she sent it back a young girl came out and told her that that is how the chicken is always prepared. There was no offer to fix the meal until we questioned further and then she asked if she wanted it remade, but it was going to come out the same way because that's just how it served. I ordered cheese ravioli. I understand pasta is to be served al dente, but these were chewy and almost raw. They were tough to cut. I wasn't going to bother to send them back. We saw that the owner was there and asked to speak with him. Before coming to our table, he first spoke to the girl who first came out and they had a good laugh of some kind . Then he came over to the table and was smirking and laughing the entire time we were there with him . It was a super bad experience. She loves their desserts and may go back just to get a dessert to go (which probably comes out of a box anyway) . I will never go back. No wonder they were almost empty on a Friday night. The bright spot of our experience was a very, very sweet waitress. She was a young girl and she took really good care of us. I would advise her to take her talents elsewhere. They dont deserve her.
