I don't remember ever seeing it run. I've had it for years and finally decided we should get it looked at. I had another mantel clock that needed service because a new battery did not make it run. Took them both to Promenade Clocks. The cost to repair/clean them was totally reasonable. And they were both ready for pickup in less than a week! Fred and his shop is a treasure right here in Richardson! It's almost like a time museum. Fred showed us around and he really knows his clocks! We loved hearing the stories and how many of the clocks work and their history. Lots of one-of-a-kind clocks available for purchase.

I sent an inquiry to A&A and received a very enthusiastic reply saying my chairs were great and as soon as I agreed , she would send over the consignment form. Pretty standard. 50/50 split, but if she sells them online she charges you the consignor another $100 fee. But oh and you have to deliver the pieces to them. They have no delivery or pickup infrastructure in place. What kind of furniture store doesn't deliver ??? I explained in email that my chairs will not fit in either of our vehicles ( and I will not crush them in to make them fit ) and I got ... crickets. No further replies. This store wants no hassles , just bring them the stuff, then they rob you of half the value plus and then make the buyers pick up! Crazy. Plus the quality of items they sell is questionable at best. See a photo of these formica hexagon tables that are chipped dirty and frankly look sourced from a thrift store. So given that they want nothing to do with handling their stock ( my stock essentially ) why would I entrust my chairs to them? Since writing this Erin has sent two emails to get me to change my review.

(I don't know how they did it, usually they are sold in pairs, but they found a buyer for me!). The check that was promptly issues sat on my "ToDo" pile of papers on my desk for months... Needless to say the check expired. A quick call and trip up to the shop and Brant reissued me a new one on the spot. No fuss. The whole transaction took about 10 minutes. While I was there, I got a chance to browse their tastefully curated selection of antiques. Great items for all price ranges! I'll be back here next time I'm looking to class up a room or give a thoughtful unique gift.
