Just thought I'd post here on Yelp also.... Sunday morning my husband and I stopped for breakfast. We needed a meal to fuel us for the long drive home across the state. We have never visited the Miles City area before. 4.5 star reviews led us to this cafe. We found the cafe clean inside and out. When we arrived there were 3 tables occupied, a booth of 4 men by the door with another who arrived after us; a center table with 4 males and a female and in the corner a couple with their daughter (I assume). Only the table of 3 had food at their table. I watched with my own eyes as the other two tables were served by the lone waitress/server. Another couple arrived after us and after the table of 3 had left. We ordered our personal favorites that we have ordered many times before and prepared at home. My husband's omelette was substandard but he ate at least half of it being famished from our long drive and another in our future that day. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. I barely swallowed 3 bites. My slices of toast were barely toasted, barely buttered and the bread itself was a poor quality. I asked for strawberry jam and was rewarded with 3 but they were old and hard to scoop out of the container. The hash browns I chose were hard squares of potatoes, I think. I tried to stab one with my fork and it didn't go in but slid off my plate. They left visible oil on the white plate that glistened under the light. I picked one up and tried it, hard outside as if deep fat fried and no seasoning that tasted like Arby's curly fries as the server told me. 2 over easy eggs were laid on top and even though my plan was to mix them up it couldn't be done. They were hard. My husband did enjoy the last egg, he loves eggs! My Chicken Fried Steak was the worst. I've never had anything like it. Its seasoning was hard and crispy like it had been deep fried also or at least fried in a pan with too much oil. The gravy was gray in color and not that it mattered but not much of it. I have no idea the meat used but didn't care. I was hungry but repulsed. I ate 3 bites of yuk. I cut it up thinking I'd have a treat for our dogs but my husband said leave it. My husband drank coffee, one taste and he whispered to me how weak it was. My Dr Pepper was dead! Please. If you're going to offer carbonated drinks please keep the settings up. McDs is great at it, ask for help even your distributor should be able to help. I offer this distasteful review of our meal because my husband's review was met with bitterness and disdain from...whoever answered it. They used the word skeptical several times. Unlike my husband, I have pics. Tell me now this didn't happen. We chose to walk away. We didn't complain to our server. We left our plates on the table. We paid our bill, in full, exactly as required. We walked away. And if you're still skeptical, see pics. Tell me now it didn't happen. read more

Super friendly staff, very welcoming space with a cute trinket shop. A black coffee and this burrito plus tip was $14 which isn't half bad! Burrito could use some hot sauce but that's personal preference. read more

I only just had my first visit to this shop, but they blew away my expectations. I grew up on Long Island, NY so I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to pizza and bagels. I'm comfortable even from this first impression to say that these are the best bagels around these parts. I ordered a farmhouse breakfast bagel with pork sausage and cheddar cheese. It was freshly made, the sausage had a good layer of caramelization on the outside, and it was neither bland nor overly salty. The bagel was warm with great moisture and mouth feel, and the sandwich was well assembled (not just thrown together). If you live in MC or are just passing through, this is a much nicer breakfast option than some fast food drivethru. I'll definitely be back here. read more

Stopped in with my friend on a Boise to Milwaukee road trip. I ordered the blt and she ordered ham and cheese. Delicious! Not your deli meat sliced ham, and plenty of it. Fresh made chips were out of this world. Crispy and tasty! If you are driving through, I highly recommend. Cute place with wifi and very pretty decor. Outdoor seating as well! read more

The food was so delicious! I had the Rainey sandwich and I loved it. Others in our party had the CFS, but the gravy tasted like canned gravy. Pancakes were hot and HUGE and delicious. I was disappointed at the $10 delivery fee! That was some sticker shock that I wished I had been told. I will definitely order again, but will pick it up!! read more
