Potato salad needs more mayo and onions, very dry and bland. Need a bigger menu. Service is good and BBQ is good.

Pitt Stop Deli - The Meatball Sub

Welcome to today's video! I've been looking forward to this one for a while, and the time has…read morefinally arrived. The Pitt Stop Deli is a small convenience store with a full cold and hot hoagie station serving up all kinds of tasty options. I chatted with Skip, the owner, who mentioned they now accept EBT cards for items like bread, cereal, and milk. Today, I'm heading to the hot side of the grill for a meatball hoagie. Off camera, I asked if the meatballs were homemade, and he explained they come from another establishment--so yes, they're homemade, just not here. This was your classic meatball sub: toasted bun, melted mozzarella, and packed with flavorful, piping-hot meatballs. Even though it's a store, they have a spot where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you'd rather eat in than take out. They're open seven days a week until at least 9 PM, so there's no excuse not to stop by and give them a try. Until next time, be blessed and stay safe. A family member ordered the falafel on rice and didn't like it either. The ranch was actually really good, but from the experience we had, the food just wasn't hitting. We didn't order anything else so can't speak on anything else but our experience wasn't great and the customer service wasn't rude, but it wasn't nice either. Just seemed like another person getting a paycheck with no love going into the food. We're from NY so we just found it disappointing. I'd only go to get the ranch tbh.

I am also having a cup of vegetable beef soup which was very hot, packed with beef and veggies, it was very filling and very delicious. A good hot soup on a cold day, by the time this video premiers we will be in the fall season. Now my sub was very interesting, I added peppers and onions which it already came with cheese and spinach. I forgot to add any sauce, so I compromised with ketchup which was good too. Largo's also makes their own pasta; I had their pasta in the past and that's really good too. They also offer fries which are fresh cut as well, you can't go wrong here peeps. Tell them you saw this video and want great food too! Until next video be blessed and stay safe. Largo's Place didn't disappoint. Their Philly Cheesesteak was packed with meat and cheese throughout, and large enough to share. Their spicing of the meat was phenomenal. The owner was kind enough to give us sides of mushrooms and onions to top ourselves (as my wife and I don't agree on how to order a cheesesteak). The fresh cut fries were great, especially with 'Wiz' to dip. We saw the pasta machine running on the counter, and took home dinner as well: homemade pasta, vodka sauce, and meatballs. Yum. After conversing with the friendly owners, looking at some of their sons artwork on the walls, and seeing pictures of their dog, Largo, we hit the road and continued on our way home. A great pair of meals.... We'll definitely stop back if we're in the area.

I went for a plain slice, a sweet sauce slice, and a mushroom slice. Their slices are huge--one is about the size of two cuts from other places. They also have a massive pie called "the colossal," though I haven't tried it yet and might not, since that's a lot of pizza. They don't skimp on toppings--the mushroom slice was loaded and nicely thin-cut, crisp and flavorful. The sweet sauce had a pleasant, balanced taste, and the plain slice had that classic old-school vibe. Great service, delicious pizza--I highly recommend Uncle Joe's. Full Italian style menu, appetizers, entrees, pizza, soups, salads, and desserts! Pizza: Needed more crunch not too much, left me wanting more of a bite. Very flavorful, super oily though, the cheeses is the culprit. Pizza tips were burnt, too much heat lamp time. Sauce was a little too sweet could have used a little more garlic but hey is it ever enough?! The answer is No... Dinning Area: Pretty large, open, area. Benches, large counter, outdoor option. Plenty of seating! Prices: Relatively cheap. 2 slice and fountain special for $9.95! Parking: Plenty of space, shared strip mall lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and regular size. Atmosphere: During the weekday lunch rush. Staff/Attendants: Staff overall was young, and unsociable. Decent experience... 5/10

We come from Nj often to visit family and this is our must stop every single time. They have a few staples in my eyes. The sweet sauce isn't too sweet and hits just right! Their uncle guys is a slightly thicker dough, with a great sauce to cheese ratio. Their buffalo wing is just incredible, it's even better on the square. It truly shows how the new owners really care about this spot, they take pride in their pies! I know a lot of people in the area stick to their normal spots but I really think this is a true gem!!

It's more of a takeout place but they do have two tables set up if you want to have it there. Today's pizza is basic and right to the point, a patron behind me told me after asking what the popular choice it's their sweet sauce pizza was, so that's what I got. Now sitting there, I noticed they do a good amount of take out. I also saw the same door dash guy a few times. Now, how was my pizza you ask? This came out nice and hot, the crust was nice and crisp, the sweet sauce was amazing. I do want to add the employees were very nice being my first time ever here. I do recommend everyone to try this place out. Until next video, be blessed and stay safe. Now walking in this was a very clean establishment where I was greeted by an employee asking how he could help me. This guy was very helpful explaining the menu, I was looking for a 12 inch where he explained that they do not have that size, I was offered a 6, 9, or 24 inch hoagie. I asked for the 9. I got a Primo Italian with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and I asked mayo no dressing. He asked my name for the order, and I sat down, I heard my name so as I was getting up the young lady brought it over to me. I am going to start believing that this is a very difficult request may no dressing. The last Primo's I went to was about 3 years ago in Edwardsville and they gave it to me dry, I have not been back to one until today and I get mayo and dressing. Primo's you were doing really well until I tasted dressing. Now I will say in their favor it was a nice, thick hoagie, the bun was between soft yet on the crisp side, I also found out as time went on you can order seedless for some sizes of their buns. I also liked that they shred the lettuce, my tomatoes were juicy, the pickles were thick and other then the dressing it was a great tasting Italian. Definitely a 4 out of 5, now you may be asking it's just dressing, well here is the thing, that's not the point, the point was that there was no communication between the one who took the order to the one who made it. I did enjoy this hoagie; I do want to go back to try some of their hot hoagies like maybe the meatball. Now Pittston does have a couple places where you can get hoagies, but one closes at 5:30 and the other 7:00 so if you are craving a hoagie after 7ish you can come here. I like that they have later hours. Well, I wish this Primo's good luck in 2025. Thanks for watching this video, like and subscribe if you like my content. A relative hired him to cater her wedding, and the results were disastrous on the most special day of her life thus far. He arrived late, left early, the display was embarrassing after he promised everything would be chic for the affair. Repeatedly told us, "no worries; it will all be perfect." Well, he caught the grill and the chicken on fire, doused it out with water while her guests and relatives watched. Chicken was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Brought 2 children to serve, had no gloves, no masks, while breathing over the food. Items did not have serving utensils, served salad with bottles of Hidden Valley Ranch sitting out as if he just picked them up at the grocery store. All the food was cold and he failed to even cut up the cheese for his pitiful excuse for charcuterie until he arrived at the venue, which was AFTER the ceremony. Cocktail hour had to be extended and she was unable to even cut her cake, as time ran out - all because of this man's failure to adequately prepare for such an event. Even the venue owner was appalled, as he had never seen such an abomination. So very disappointing, especially for the amount of money he was charging.
