I can't even begin to describe how amazing and different I have felt since I started doing this. I have never felt more confident and more sexy. If you're looking for a cardio workout class, I don't think this is the right place for you. But if you want to find some sexy confidence and learn a few moves that you can actually use at some point (without having to buy a pole and have it installed in your house), I highly recommend classes with Resa. I also bought her DVDs which I found really helpful when it came to practicing on my own. Although I have yet to use any of my newly learned moves, I have certainly been taking advantage of the new found confidence! Living Social Classes: Striptease Moves and Ideas: This was my first class with Resa. It mostly focused on ways to feel sexy and confident and encouraging the use of the dance moves. We learned some of the basics like "the walk" and "the crawl." Lap Dance: I went to the class alone and most of the other women had a friend with them. I'm not sure if it's more or less awkward to practice on a stranger than a friend but it's worth being prepared. This class is probably the one I expect to use the most move from though I think I benefited the most from the first class because it made me start thinking about my sexuality. Striptease Using Wall Instead of Pole: This was my final class and I think it made a great closer. It was definitely the most physical of the three classes. It focused on using a wall or a doorway and just being sexy and sticking out your booty. One-on-One Classes: These were fantastic. They forced me to practice and I got a lot of feedback and advice on how I was moving, what I was planning on wearing and when in an evening is best to give your man a surprise dance. BJ/HJ Workshop: This would be a fantastic group activity for a ladies' night. I learned a lot and there was lots of fun laughter throughout the night. Videos: The videos are fantastic if you're like me and can't seem to remember anything for more than five minutes. I watched them whenever I was practicing and I think it really helped. Other classes that I look forward to taking include: Lap Dance using Chair, Striptease Floor Routines, Pole Fitness, Booty Shaking Yoga, and Exotic Pilates Other events: Sexy Women and Wine Night - a meet up at a local wine bar for women who attend Resa's classes and want to meet other women with common interest to talk about relationships, life, and, of course, wine.

The entire routine we learned was about 2 min long at best and most of it can be seen on her website on the opening page. There was not a lot of room to move around which is unfortunate when you are doing sexy, intimate moves with a bunch of strangers. I noticed a lot of promotions through living social which may explain the lack of availability/class times. The location is right around the corner from Gaslamp so parking may be difficult at times. ebyresa advises the option to park at Horton Plaza; I find that a bit inconvenient with the walk and navigating through the parking structure. I can see how this would be fun for a bunch of friends, like a bachelorette party. But for me as an individual it was just okay and I will not return. I prefer Fun Pole Fitness.

YOU'RE here? Um... ok." Like I was crashing a party I wasn't invited to. It's clear the long-term members and instructors have a vibe and they didn't seem interested in letting anyone new in. I ended up not using the last class on my card because each time left class, I just felt bad about myself.

I won't lie to you, this wasn't exactly my jam. My daughters love this show and this was the second time seeing it. I was told it was a spin on Romeo & Juliet which is cool and I saw some common threads but sometimes was left just going "huh?" Still a lot of "wow" factor in the dance. The theater is pretty neat. Located off Imperial Avenue, it looks like this took over two houses? There is the front lobby which you have to exit to go around back to the theater itself. The first floor holds the majority of the seats which look comfy. The second floor where my wife and I sat was bar stool seats overlooking a balcony. I wasn't very comfortable after a while and kept fidgeting. Get seats on first floor. The dancers also move through the audience. It didn't happen this time but my girls and wife said the stage also moves. They also said this show was different at times which would allow it to be fresh even for a repeat visit. You could tell there were a lot of die hard fans shouting out at dancers by name. The creators, Keone and Mari, have a lot to be proud of and it would not surprise me to see this hit Broadway. If love dance and want to support local artists hit Beyond Babel. Okay, I'm done. Time to moonwalk my way off the stage.

Something to note is that there is only one park, so big dogs are combined with small ones. Theres a small obstacle course for dogs to jump and run through. And for the humans, there's also a few benches on the side to sit at.

There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.

From the first day we stepped into the studio, Katie made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease, being the first time we we're to choreograph dance together. We couldn't be more ecstatic with the experience and actually have contemplated just going back for fun! Katie's infectious energy and passion for dance made every lesson an absolute blast to attend. We walked by this studio almost every week, so when the idea of our first dance came up, I looked into wedding packages before even discussing with my fiance. She can dance, I cannot. The first dance terrified me and I needed some confidence big time. To say Cori and Mari delivered would be an understatement. They crafted a dance that was easy to remember and really fit with our (nontraditional) song. I was comfortable the entire time and actually looked forward to each lesson...saying a lot coming from some as terrified of dancing as me. We had a blueprint for a great dance that I made my fiance practice with me until midnight the night before our wedding. I was more nervous about the dance than any other part of the wedding, but when the time came, we killed it. My new husband(!!!) and I had such an amazing experience with Katie and The First Dance Place. Katie helped us choreograph an almost 5-minute slow dance turned salsa dance and we had a BLAST learning how to dance and creating the choreography together. She was so patient, kind, and fun to work with. The dance lessons became a date night for us and it was actually so bittersweet when they came to an end the week before our wedding. The night of the wedding, our DJ started the song before we were ready (we were a little too far away speaking with our planner) but we sprinted onto the dance floor and picked up at that point in the song because Katie taught us to just go with the flow. We had the best experience using The First Dance Place for our wedding! Neither of us had taken dance lessons before, so we decided to just do an intro course to learn a few moves and make sure we felt confident during our first dance. Our instructor was so kind and fun, and she helped us learn a few fun moves to work into our dance. We wanted something low pressure and she absolutely delivered! We loved working with Katie on our first dance. We started working on our first dance just before the pandemic and then our wedding was postponed by two years. In the months leading up to our wedding in 2022, Katie helped us polish our first dance to "All of Me" by John Legend, and then she choreographed a fun swing dance to our second song "Dance With Me Tonight." Katie and her team are truly tremendous at what they do. Katie herself is extremely creative, passionate and a great dance instructor and choreographer. Working with Katie for our first dance made the process stress free and we felt super comfortable with the dance on the day of our wedding. We were about one month away from our wedding day when we began to stress about our first dance. We didn't want to just sway around so we decided to take an Emergency dance class with Katie. Katie was very kind and made us feel comfortable. We chose a song that's not a typical slow dance song and she made it work for us. We are so glad we took dance lessons before our wedding. At first we weren't sure it was something that we wanted to spend money on, but we had the best experience. We were married this past April. My wife is very comfortable dancing and I am not. so we were naturally looking for classes. Katie helped us put together a nice 2 minute first dance in just one class. She was great. If we could do it over we would take a couple more and go a little bigger. 10/10 read more

Liza and mark are amazing choreographers that taught us our full 2 minute dance in 4 sessions. They listened to our song the first day we went in and were able to choreograph 45 seconds on our first lesson off the top of their heads. It's nice having both Liza and Mark there to show us how to do the coupley moves and bounce ideas off each other. They were great at breaking down the dance into easy to digest steps. We are so happy with how our dance turned out. I like that they come up with the entire dance for you but that they are also very open to your ideas too, for example we saw some cute moves on tiktok that they were able to incorporate into our dance.
