It's fine? By no means is this mini golf course up to par (HA!) with some others I've been to. There are no moving windmills, there are no fun things that move. It's pretty basic with a few "rocks" to make it challenging. I think the biggest highlight that everyone mentions are the fish and turtles. The fish are actually quite creepy. They are so used to being fed, that when they hear voices, they come in mass and like pop their heads up, but they are like a mass frenzy and it's fun for the kids, but kind of weird. It's a mini golf course that's in a strip mall. Convenient, but for the quality of the course and if you're with the kiddo's, spending $36 for 3 people to play mini golf was overpriced. read more

Had a packed day and decided to cap it off with some mini golf post-dinner. This place is mini golf goals - seriously, one of the best-kept mini golf spots I personally have ever been. It definitely gave off major botanical garden vibes reminiscent of the Marie Selby gardens we visited earlier. Local plants, lively koi fish, and fun fish facts at each hole - turns out putt putt can be so enlightening! Koi fish were acting like they were starving. Fingers crossed they are getting fed often. Smooth, fun play, my husband and I aced 18 holes in just an hour. I even got a hole in one! Parking was easy, a short walk away, and every hole was in top shape. This is a fun little place at the end of Main Street in Lakewood Ranch. We took our 3 grandchildren there - ages 3, 5 and 7. The 3-year-old was really just interested in walking around. The 5-year-old was just interested in hitting a ball, but the 7-year-old got it and enjoyed it the most, 6 or above would be a good age for this. The holes are challenging, but not overly difficult. Each hole had a sign with a fish along with some interesting facts about the fish. Pricing was good, it was a good way to pass some time. read more

My daughter loves mini golf during vacas. This is 2nd one we visited while in Bradenton, and preferred it. Small and alittle easier with many 2 pars, but still alot of fun. Not to mention the beautiful landscaping - just lush and goregous. Kids love feeding the pretty and fat koi fishes (purchase food for 50c) and spotting the turtles. It's very small, but there is 18 holes my son is a mini golf pro lol he got 2 hole in 1's. Great fun while you are waiting for a movie or a table. It wasn't crowded and you can feed the fish it's $10 per person and they of course have ice cream etc. I had no idea it was there we had a nice time and of course he beat me lol. read more

My wife & I live in Lakewood Ranch and we went to The Fish Hole twice in August when our grandson & granddaughter were visiting. We went in late afternoon and it was still pretty hot. Someone told us that the Fish Hole has fans and misters so we figured it would be pleasant. The first time we went in early August none of the fans were on and neither were the misters so we were drenched in sweat by time we were done. For some reason the kids wanted to go again about a week later and I thought maybe it would be better but to my disappointment it wasn't. A few of the fans were on but no misters and it was really hot. The course itself is really fun but be prepared to sweat after paying $12.00/person. read more

This charming miniature golf course in Lakewood Ranch was the perfect spot to have some fun with my family. Kudos to the gentleman managing the course. Not only was he extremely friendly, but he joined in on the fun with our family. After a terrible shot my mother-in-law demanded for the manager to move the fake rock off of the hole so that she would have a better shot on her next turn. We couldn't stop laughing when the manager lifted the fake rock out of her way and in the process blocked the rest of our golf balls from making the next shot. Who would have thought the rock wasn't glued down?!?! On the last shot the manager teased my husband for missing any easy shot and hitting his ball in the water. Since we visited on a weekday we had the golf course all to ourselves other than one other family. Highlights of the 18-hole course included a koi pond and a variety of native Florida plants. Also, each hole was cutely named after different fish. It was abnormally hot and humid in December so the misting fans scattered throughout the course were greatly appreciated. A tradition in my family and I is to play mini golf whenever we are in Florida. It is a warm and wonderful thing to do. This place served our simple family tradition very well. The course is great, the service was good, and the value for money was fair as well. First up, the course. The course here is very nice. It is an old school themed course that has classic tunes playing that everyone knows and can enjoy. With the hot Florida heat, they placed water mist fans around the course to keep everyone cool and happy, which was a really nice touch. All of the lush tropical scenery was great. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Next, the service. We had no problems with the service here. It moved very quick and the guy that helped us was very friendly, personable, and had an overall wonderful energy. Also, the course is clean with no litter or anything. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Finally, the value for money. For Florida mini golf, this place has excellent value for money. If I recall correctly, it is $11.50/person. With eighteen holes, good service, mist fans for the heat, and lush scenery, I think that is a very good price. Super cute mini golf place! As others mentioned the place is small, but it's packed with charm and fun. The course is 18 holes and is on the easier side-- which is perfect if you ask me! You will have fun! Great for kids that aren't looking for a challenging course. The theme is fishing/beachy/nautical and I loved it. The man at the counter was super sweet and seemed genuinely happy to have people visit and golf. There is a turtle pond, a koi pond, fans everywhere for hot days, and lots of cute decor. We went at night and it was all lit up. It was $9.49 a person and there is a $1 coupon for each on their website. You can also play a 2nd round for $2 each! My hubby and I spent the morning here in some friendly (read: serious) competition. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and really well kept. We loved checking out the turtles and koi fish in the little ponds throughout the course, and there were quarter fish food machines at each water spot if you wanted to increase the action. Good things come in small packages. I found a Groupon for this business and it was cheap, so I decided why not. We were going to be in the area anyways, and it looked fun. It was! The guy behind the counter was really friendly. After getting our putters and balls, we hit the course. The greens are small, but they're pretty fun. The landscaping is really nice as well. However, the turf is a little too fluffy so they balls stop pretty quickly once they lose speed, so don't rely on slopes giving your ball the little push it needs. Along the way there are koi and turtle/bass ponds. Bring a quarter to feed the fish. There are air conditioned restrooms across the street at this trinket store; the owner owns both businesses. Although this place is tiny, it packs a lot into a small package, it's not expensive, and it's very pleasing to they eye for a mini golf course! read more

Difficult time to find things to keep kids safe and entertained away from a screen during this pandemic. Took the drive to this mini golf course since it reminded me of ones I remember from when I was a kid. It was my son's first time playing mini golf and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The guy at the front was very pleasant and personable. The course is well kept and practiced social distancing. We encountered practically no one while playing. After all three of us had a tie after the first round, we went for a quick bite. Then my son asked if he could play again and we did (deep discount for 2nd round). The guy at the front talked to my son and made him feel very special. After my son beat me the 2nd round, the guy gave him a coupon to come back for a free round another time.
