I love the floral escape, i have been to every single pop up and event they had from NY to NJ. I wish they would return soon. I especially loved coming to this location with my bestie because there was parking and they had the most stunning outdoor photo ops. I loved it so much i even came after a snow storm. My only con is they need more workers monitoring how long people are taking their photos sometimes people take over 10 minutes and backs up the lines. I found The Floral Escape through Instagram and instantly fell in love with everyone's pictures. Although it was pricy, I am always down to try something new. It's a $20 admission to get in, not including tax. You only get one hour inside. They let us in promptly at our designed time of 1-2pm and there were lines for each exhibit outside. To be honest, it was a lot of pressure to take pictures because people are waiting and you only have an hour. We felt so rushed especially with the lines. I was a bit disappointed and felt that the time they gave was not enough especially if you're coming in a big group to take pictures. I don't think I'll be back here but thankfully, we did get a few good pictures from our experience. read more

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS "MONTH OF LOVE" EXHIBIT! I actually went because I won a giveaway on their instagram for 2 tickets. It was a very easy setup with The Floral Escape staff. I just picked my day and time and it was set. Me and my boyfriend arrived and there was no one there beside like three staff members. They were in their own separate room divided by big curtains. Whenever they talked to us they were really nice, even when asking if we were almost done taking photos as they were about to close up. They allowed us to use the tripod and professional camera we brought. They encourage you to bring your own equipment because they do leave you alone for the 1 hour time slot you get to take photos on your own. The lighting was pretty good in all the rooms and they even had curtains to block the windows in the room of red roses. It helped for the photos. It is such a perfect place to take photos for a special occasion or even just to get dressed up and have really nice backgrounds! I would totally recommend you to go here! The tickets are around $40 with fees included. Reservations are required. You have to find your own parking but it was pretty easy where the studio was located (Floral Park, NY). read more

The Floral Escape is located in NY however in NY it's only temporary so I went to the one in NJ. It's located in the Westfield Mall. It was a fun experience. They have different beautiful stations for you to take pictures. There is a changing room where you can also change clothes if you like. The staff are very nice and they continue to clean to keep this game sanitary. It was a fun experience for me as I love taking pictures. I had an excellent free photographer my husband. The NY location is about $20 per person . The NJ was $30 each. read more

It's okay. My pictures came out gorgeous, but is it worth it especially to travel 1.5 hours if you're coming from Manhattan? Honestly no. After I got off the 7 train, I had to Uber (which cost $40) from Main Street. They also had a 3 minute time limit for each booth, which I understand the time limit, but wasn't fair because it was for 2 people. They gave us 30 second warnings and honestly while I know they're just doing their jobs, the time limit and especially the announcing "30 seconds left" sucked the joy out of a photoshoot. It gave people pressure, I just wish they either didn't admit so many people at one time or found a better way. read more

Huge waste of money. A few displays of fake flowers. 90% of people there were just there to take "modeling" photos and pretend to be an influencer. The displays are pretty but it will take about 10 mins to see everything. Just walk around the farm. It's free and you can still view the displays from the outside. The Floral Escape is a great place to come to for fall pictures! The admission price in person per adult is $15 and cards/cash accepted. The exhibit has such cute displays that the whole family would love to take pictures with. They play music which really sets the mood also. I would recommend to come early and on a weekday to avoid crowds. Please come and support this fine place to take cute fall pictures. I love fall. Happy Fall y'all! I experienced the Westfield Mall location. The front desk team was efficient and friendly. The location was wonky (visible to mall walkers external to the photography space) but it worked. The visual setups were fun to play with and my shots came out just fine, fabulous even! You'll need to block out the spectators outside who sometimes talk to you through the open spaces in the glass wall. I made the space do what it needed with a tripod and timer. Marketing for the experience was lazy at best and unimaginative at worst. Very few, if any, fat(ter) bodied or dark(er) skinned folks' images were used to market the space. The marketing was unimaginative, which is unfortunate because there were so many options for how to utilize a space to make any occasion pop. The Queen Country Farm Museum location had much better representation with folks who didn't look as fake and forced. read more

SO MUCH FUN! I went to the Paramus NJ location since I was in the area for work and decided to check this out with a coworker. We had a BLAST - two adults in a candy store. We went on a Thursday and had the place to ourselves which was awesome. The dressing room could be a little bigger - I'm not sure how larger groups do it, but for 1-2 people it was OK. They also have a 4 person vanity station set up for makeup, hair, accessories etc. Overall we had an amazing experience and I'm dying to bring my nieces here! It is literally built for parties and events. If I could add one suggestion, it would have been an even better experience with curated music. Even if it was an additional add-on cost to pick your own playlist that would have been pretty cool. read more

Every corner is an amazing photo opportunity! I could not believe we were on a farm lol My daughter had an amazing time. The Fall escape was my absolute favorite- so creative. If you are willing to spend I would highly recommend checking out their studio set up- the Winter Escape. It left me speechless and the photos will last a LIFETIME!! It's every Instagram photographer's dream! A little out of the way if you're visiting NYC, but you can take the subway part of the way and ride share the rest, otherwise it'll take an hour or more to get here. The farm itself is large - if you navigate a ride share to the farm, you'll have to find directions to the actual exhibit. It's next to the event parking lot, which we totally missed at first because signage is minimal - just keep your eye out. We went right at the open, so "queues" for each of the floral stands didn't have a long wait. We walked around to any ones that were empty first, not in any order. This place is a magnet for influencer's so you may be waiting a while for people to finish perfecting their photo or videos. Come with patience and plan to visit off peak hours. You can spend up to an hour here, depending on how much time you want to spend getting that perfect shot. The $20 tickets for entry wasn't terrible and the farm is free to walk around. Highly recommend for anyone who loves rainbows and pretty pictures. read more

It is beautiful place for photoshoot , but staff is disrespectful in many ways, we came with baby on Thursday ask about this event they said we can come in pay 15 dollars and go through and didn't mention that we have to order tickets online. We rent beautiful dress for our 9 months daughter, we made number 9 from our own flowers, we came in and they disrespectfully turned us back, said that you have to buy tickets online and there is no tickets for today or tomorrow, but last time they said we can just come In. I went online I purchase ticket for following day, I showed for them and said maybe we can go through it now, we will be quick, we prepared all this stuff and came from far away. One of the girls start lecturing and giving an examples, that girl was super rude and start screaming so other one had to calm her down. I never curse or shout I tried to be very respectful and explain situation, by the way there was no other people at that moment. I asked manager information they refused to provide, I asked names they said we about to close and you can come whenever you get your ticket for. Very poor customer service, miss-leading information and super disrespectful staff...(Westfield mall) And I forget to say all that time while she was lecturing me she was on her phone. !!!!!!UPDATE OF THE STORY!!!!! So like I mentioned before, I had a child ticket for following day so we went again to the same place. This time there was manager, right away she knew who we are and was talking how we left bad review for this place. She said I have child ticket and I need to have tickets for myself and my wife, but on web there was only option for child, nothing for adults so I bought just child ticket. Our entrance was denied and they disagree to refund for it, that means they stole my money and never provide services, on top of all while we was leaving this place she said you see those immigrants coming from other countries and all of them was laughing from us. I'm never the type to write reviews but I honestly feel as though I have to because I seriously felt duped and in these trying times I think it's really unfair and unethical to rip people off who just wanted a nice outting during lockdown. I'm just going to list some Facts about his place and my experience below. Info: I went in mid October because my husband and I wanted to take our daughter pumpkin picking at the Queens county farm and on the website we saw how tickets were available for the "Floral" exscape. The pictures that the company had posted all over social media looked gorgeous and they Promised a covid-protected adventure which would be "enforced" during time slots. My thoughts were: "Wow I'll get some gorgeous fall photos with my family around some beautiful floral arrangements, which must smell lovely and it's timed where you have to book a specific time to go so it will be orderly and safe, I'm in!" The real deal: - I wound up spending $54.10 for 3 people, Myself, my husband and our daughter to go which after going is outrageous! -Upon arrival I was IN SHOCK. I had booked a 1pm session for my family and I to go but as we were entering I see a Huge crowd already inside. When I was checked in the woman didn't seem to care about my or anyone elses time slot (as in, someone paid so they get to enter). Now mind you I have been to time-slotted picture taking events before even prior to covid. Such places as NYC's Rose Mansion. When you go to those places such as the RoseMansion you purchase your groups time slot and your group and maybe 2-3 other groups are premitted in at a time (hence the purchase of a time slot) and they even stagger the groups a bit so that everyone has their own time to take their pictures with the installments and there's less of a chance of bunching/traffic stops and the events are guided by ropes or by rooms so that their isn't chaos and everyone gets to take their picture at each stop. But that's Not what the floral escape provide and for $50 they should ..i said to the woman that I purchased a 1pm ticket and there's a bunch of people in there, especially with covid concerns how does this go... and she basically said that the time slots were a joke! They're allowed to have 150 people in there at one time and the people in there are from the earlier time slots who haven't yet left. They can't kick them out because it's on an honor system where each party is supposed to leave after 1 hour of their time slot start. WHAT.A.JOKE! Frustrated, but have already paid a lot of money and wanting to at least have a nice time with my family, we enter. - Upon entering you'll see that even though the website and signs outside said "masks must be worn" Barely ANYONE in a crowd of over a hundred people were wearing one. OBVIOUSLY people including myself would take them off to get their picture but we put them back on right after, especially while waiting on line for each installment. - The flowers AREN'T EVEN REALLLLLLL. You're literally paying 50 bucks for some arts and crafts, plastic, machince made cheap flowers (like literally what you find at the dollar store) and if you brushed up on some installments they fell off, hence all the "flowers" just laying on the ground. (Hell even at the rose mansion you get to sip some wine with their fun installments..this was such a joke you won't believe.) - Chaotic. You walk in and you're overwhelmed by the sea of people and you try and figure out the protocol. You figured the 1st installment (the tall sunflowers) would be your 1st picture but people just keep running left and right to each installment. Some people knew how to form lines but sometimes you'd just have to guess that you were next. There was Zero order to any of it and not one worker was inside. It was a literally zoo. - Because of the disorder and chaos there is NOOOOOO WAY that your pictures would ever come out like the ones they advertised. Almost All of my photos with the flowers had a TON of people in the background aka right next to me and my family. The only place that we were able to be alone and a little closed off to have an actual picture alone was the bench with the pumpkins and the red barn. But good luck every trying to take a nice pictures under the orange flower installment or hanging purple flower one. It looked like I was at a market in those photosSo very disappointing. I wish I could post pictures but every photo I have has me, my husband and/or my daughter in it and I don't want to show my families faces. - Since there were no workers on the inside and some people have ZERO care or concern for others some installments where people actually lined up nicely took FOREVER! There were girls there who took this dollar store installation way too seriously and posed for a billion pictures for what I'm sure is their instagram photoshoot and spent 10 minutes taking pictures with a line of 55 ppl behind them. read more

The photo ops are beautiful but they only give you an hour slot to be in the park which isn't enough time to take a picture with every landmark. Horrible experience with this place ( Westfield Mall) , avoid at all costs! Staff doesnt follow Covid-19 guidelines , didnt have masks on , employees are on the phones all the time, misleading information given. When I came in with a baby for photophoot with purchased child ticket was denied an entry since I had to have a ticket too, but the other day was informed that only a child ticket will do. Manager of this place ( Jenna Rose Martin) refused to refund $ and said that I wasn't supposed to purchase child ticket even though website had this option . She refused to listen nor emphasize that wrong info was given the other day by employees, she didnt want to accomodate an entry even though I agreed to pay for the costs. In fact she started shouting without her mask on , discriminating me in front of my 9 mos old child. She literally said: " These people coming from another country , you can leave ! We dont want your money . My business is prospering without you ". They thought that we are not competent enough to enter this place. Me and my child was discriminated, shouted at and turned away. On top of that she was trying to charge my card for services which were never rendered. This business stole money and wasted my time and never rendered any services or refund. read more

We had 3pm reservations and for sure, there were still people from the previous time slot taking their sweet time going through the installations. Second - the mud. My god, the mud. For $75 for my family of three to go in you would think we would at least be able to walk through without getting our shoes completely filthy. Don't waste your money on this.
