I had sought legal advice from a local attorney in Boca, and was told it would be $7,500 to simply "start" helping me clean up the mess. Because I couldn't stomach forking out that kind of money, I sent written notice of the fraud to Federated Law Group, although I expected to be ignored and in a civil nightmare. To my surprise, I was personally contacted by the owner of Federated Law within minutes. By the end of my conversation with him, for the first time since the theft took place, I started to have a bit of peace of mind and believe everything might actually be ok. As a single mother, business owner, and new home owner, fighting a lawsuit was the last thing I had time or energy for.
