Unbelievable. Ordered an arrangement through an online vendor. 4-in-1 deal: flowers, SPECIFIC bear with embroidery, SPECIFIC brand cookies, balloon. Only flowers arrive. *The flowers were fine, and colorful.* As ordered. No issues there. But alas, missing 3 items. Contact vendor. Vendor contacts you. You promise to rectify. I appreciate that. Soon after, balloon is delivered WITH DOLLAR STORE BEAR AND DOLLAR STORE COOKIES. Seriously? Who would be okay with that? Utterly disgraceful. The sheer audacity of that blew me away. Whoever made that judgment call should be ashamed of themselves. UPDATE: I appreciate the response and I'm sure you folks run an otherwise stellar business. But replacing something you don't have (not the consumers fault) with dollar store items is just unacceptable. Sorry, but not sorry. Whoever did that should be reprimanded. read more

I was very disappointed to hear that my delivery was never received though I ordered it in time. The event it was going to was very important to me, and though I spoke several times to people at the store, they insisted they delivered the item, I never received verification of this. I was disappointed that they never returned my phone call again, trying to verify where they delivered the flowers to, even after I called several times. DO NOT USE THIS FLOWER SHOP! go somewhere else. they promise everything and deliver nothing. I bought a dozen roses $100 (not cheap) delivered to my wife's work to surprise her for our anniversary. (5 minute drive to deliver) I asked if they can be delivered by 12 noon. "Sure absolutely" they say. The flowers showed up late! By their own admission they said it was delivered late. So not only is the surprise ruined but now my wife has to track down her own flowers after lunch somewhere in the office. Lucky reception called her extension and left message. When I called to express my concern they did offer me another flower, fruit basket, or gift card toward future purchase. REALLY do you think I'm coming back! read more

Wouldn't even give them one star but you must in order to do the review. My friend sent my mother a Christmas gift basket basket that cost about $80 or more through The Flower Cart. The confirmation said it would be delivered 12/22. He is in Canada and asked me to check on the 23rd. They said delivery was attempted and no one was home, which I found out later was a lie. Three people were home, two cars in the driveway. No one called the number given for the delivery to check. The woman on the phone assured me if it didn't get out on the 23rd, it would on the 24th, and I also gave her an alternate cell phone number for someone in the house who would be home. No delivery of the gift was made, no phone call, nothing. Of course they charged my friend's credit card a week ago. I hope he can get it credited, otherwise we will now have to file a dispute with his cc company. Stay away from this shop. Unreliable and dishonest and just plain sleazy to rip off people at Christmas. read more

This place is an unreal mess. They NEVER delivered my order and they NEVER answer the phone. I am in shock. I went by their store front and a sign says closed for vacation until July 13th. I was there on the 16th and still closed. No answering machine or voicemail to leave a message. What a mess. Terrible. read more

Around 6 pm still nothing called back and they said it was delivered... we received nothing and they have no explanation. I disagree with many of the reviewers about this lovely flower shop. My husband and I ordered a bouquet for our daughter's college graduation. The bouquet was absolutely beautiful! The people are friendly and very helpful. We also thought it was very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this place. We will be back!!! read more

Love this shop! Not only does the staff create gorgeous, thoughtful arrangements, Jess (manager) has redone the interior of the shop and made it such a pleasant place to be. Grab a fresh cup of coffee while you look at the assortment of flowers and gifts in the shop! A local artist also came in to paint a beautiful mural above the flower case...really a lot of heart put into the store. My boyfriend got my a bouquet from here and the roses were so fresh and healthy and looked great. Great local place to shop for flowers and small gifts!! read more

I ordered a "Get Well" arrangement on line to be delivered the same day, which they advertised would be done. Needless to say, the flowers were not delivered Friday, nor Saturday, Sunday or Monday. At this point, if the arrangement was made on Friday, I don't want it delivered -- 3-day-old flowers! What a frustrating and time-consuming experience. 05/12/14 UPDATE - I just learned that Pia is no longer at The Flower Cart and I am updating my review to give The Flower Cart the 5 stars they deserve. Their arrangements are always so beautiful. I'm giving this place a 3 not because they are horrible florists, I've ordered from them twice and they both came out exceptional, but because of the terrible experience I had with a lady from their staff, Pia. It was probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a retail setting, and I worked in retail for a couple of years. I bought the $50 for $35 deal here on yelp last May for a flower arrangement I needed delivered. When I walked in, she (Pia) was finishing up an order for a customer that was in the store. She saw me and didn't have a very pleasant look on her face. The customer she was helping left and it took her a while to acknowledge that I was there. When she finally "noticed" I was there, she gave me an attitude the entire time, like I was wasting her time by placing an order. When I was going to pay for my order with the voucher I purchased, see immediately said that she doesn't know how to use it so she wasn't going to apply it and was about to charge me an additional $45. Then I got pissed off. I asked for a manager, she said she was the only one there, so I had her call someone (I think she called the store owner). As she was dialing on her cell, she kept saying "well, she's not going to pick up. I already know that" while rolling her eyes. To her surprise, the person she called picked up and instructed her on what to do. She gave me an even bigger attitude while doing this, probably because she was humiliated. She was by far the rudest person I've ever dealt with. The flowers still came out beautifully despite me horrendous experience with Pia. I've decided not to ever place an order through The Flower Cart if Pia's around. I suggest you all do the same! read more

Unprofessional! Employees are extremely unprofessional unqualified and misleading. I heard a customer ahead of me livid because one of the twits who works there totally screwed up by NOT accepting his order that morning claiming there would be enough red roses left at the end of the day. Of course she did not own up to this and they tried to accommodate the customer with a pathetic discount..note that he still paid for something he didn't want. I didn't see the final product, but my mom said they were gorgeous, so hopefully she's not just blowing smoke up my... I ordered what was listed online as a $65 arrangement, and it turned out to be $80 after delivery charges and whatever else. I guess I should've seen that coming. Sarah was very helpful over the phone and email to get the arrangement sent on Mother's Day to my mom who lives near The Flower Cart. I much prefer to use a local shop any day over one of the nation-wide sellers who probably just call this place and take an additional fee for themselves. read more

This business deserves even more stars. I recently moved to California and was unable to attend a family funeral in NJ. I spoke with "The Real Jennifer Lopez" at TFC and she was friendly, kind, warm, funny and very professional. I described to her the arrangement we wanted, utilizing a variety of flowers I saw on their website, and Jennifer informed me which were available in season, how they would look together, etc. She went beyond any typical interaction, to create the bouquet I'd imagined, and she took into account the timing of when new flowers would be delivered to her store that evening with my requested delivery time. Without me asking (of course,) my NJ family reported that the arrangement really was beautiful; I was happy that it truly had the peaceful and pretty feel I'd hoped to send. read more

I ordered flowers for my grandma's 80th birthday and the flowers that arrived were not as described online. Additionally, certain flowers in the bouquet were dead and all of the orchids fell off the day after delivery, leaving only stems left in the bouquet. My grandma attempted to call The Flower Cart, but all they responded with was "i'm sorry", and hung up the phone after refusing to offer a replacement. You would think given the special occasion these flowers were ordered for, the customer service would have been more helpful. I would never order from here again. read more
